As a volunteer, your tasks will include:Health and Hygiene Support-Assist nurses in health checks, first aid, and general elderly care.-Help maintain personal hygiene for seniors, promoting their well-being.Social and Recreational Activities-Organize fun and engaging events like games, storytelling, or music sessions.-Encourage social interaction to combat loneliness and create joyful moments.Household and Environmental Support-Prepare meals and ensure sanitation standards.-Assist with cleaning and organizing living spaces.-Contribute to farming activities that provide fresh, nutritious food for the community.

The volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living facilities are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area with separate rooms. The volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag.

The camp is held at elderly care center in Lapsephedi, a peaceful village 40 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, this community offers:-Stunning views of terraced fields and lush greenery.-A serene environment perfect for cultural immersion and personal growth.
