Possible Daily activities-Teach English. If you do not have a background in sign language there will be many other ways in which you may help the school.-Set up workshops, field trips, health/sanitation sessions and various other things.

The volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living facilities are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area with separate rooms. The volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag.

The project takes place in the Sindhuli District of Bagmati Province. -1.8 km east of Sindhuli Madi Bazar. Approximately 134 km southeast of Kathmandu-Situated in a peaceful rural setting with traditional Nepali landscapesVIN also organizes weekend travel tours to Chitwan Jungle Safari, Pokhara, and Nagarkot at an additional cost if you are interested.
Requisiti
We accept volunteers twice monthly, on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. You are required to arrive a day before your project start date. -Basic English should be spoken among the participants - Physically sound as per the project requirements.

VIN s Working with Deaf People project aims to give the deaf people of Nepal a better shot at a quality education. For too long now Nepal s educational system has neglected the special needs of these people who end up dropping out of school due to the lack of attention to them. It is an incredibly fulfilling experience to help those that need it most [Due to school holidays these projects willremain closed during the months January and sometimes in April, July and October. You are encouraged to take part in the winter camps in January. There are also other VIN projects.
