REDISCOVER THE RUINS OF CAMPARIAN

The meeting point is at CESTAS-GAZINET SNCF station on 10/07 in the late afternoon.

The exact meeting time will be communicated with the info sheet, sent out no later than 4 weeks before the start of the project.

Several direct trains (approximately one per hour) leave PARIS to BORDEAUX. The journey takes between 2 and 3 hours.

If possible, please consider using low-carbon transportation (train and bus rather than airplane) for a sustainable international workcamp.

The nearest airport is Bordeaux or Paris.

Accommodation is in individual tents (which are provided by Concordia), with sanitary facilities, kitchen and communal living area. The camp will be based close to Canéjan's sports facilities. You'll share collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the group, and you'll take part in shopping and meal preparation, giving priority to healthy, local produce. WIFI available.

Together, you'll take part in organizing community life (housework, activities, etc.) and in preparing meals, taking turns using locally sourced produce. We aim to encourage vegetarian eating with local, seasonal produce, while respecting participants' diets and discovering local cuisines together.

Please fill the Parental Agreement and the Medical Fact Sheet as soon as possible (at least 3 weeks before the beginning of the workcamp).

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for them, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

The vaccines proofs (a note from the doctor or a copy of the vaccines) is MANDATORY, see list in the Medical Fact Sheet. Unvaccinated volunteers will not be accepted.
