Help the local community of Emmaüs St Gaudens and join a sustainable place!
During two weeks, you will be part of the local community of Emmaüs. The compagnons are willing and eager to welcome you, to show you around, and above all to show you everything you can do in this place: fixing things, building furniture from scratch, and creating animation on the waste of water in new elements… You will also paint some rooms, and do some gardening in the garden of the community.
So many different activities await you in this project with a significant social impact!

Organizzatore
The Emmaus Movement is based on humanist values that put solidarity and social purpose before economic logic. Its goal is to help people in difficult situations regain dignity and autonomy. It relies on four pillars: solidarity, unconditional welcome, autonomy through work, and sustainable development through reuse and recycling.
The Emmaus community has for mission to welcome people without housing, in precarious situations, or refugees, without distinction. Through sorting and selling donated goods, it works in autonomy, without subsidies or external financial support. People who are welcomed later help new arrivals.
