Step into Nature, the forests of Heilsbronn

The municipality of Heilsbronn will focus on three different projects to renovate and maintain the town’s infrastructure, with the help of international volunteers:

- Preservation tasks for the “Vita Parcours’” fitness trail: Clear the over-grown plants along the paths and across the different stations, make signs visible, and clean the stations and trails of any leftover trash.

- Create an insect hotel and fields: With a handmade insect hotel and colorful blooming fields, we will transform empty spaces into a thriving refuge for bees and butterflies.

- Renovate the “Barfußpfad” (barefoot path): This path is highly valued and used by the local community, especially by children and families. It includes many different textures such as pebbles, moss, and pine cones. The tasks will require emptying and refilling different sections of the path

Additional similar projects may be added. You should expect to be working outdoors alongside municipal workers in renovation or construction tasks. No previous experience is required since a professional instructor will be there to provide support and guidance through the different tasks. You will work 30 hour per week between 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday with a lunchbreak on site.
