Attività principali
FIRST PHASE: PREPARATION FOR THE FESTIVAL
You will build and decorate the festival site together with local young people and skilled festival builders. There will be a lot of work to get done, but also time to have fun with the crew!
Tasks during this phase include building festival furniture and structures, cooking for the crew, painting and sign-making, producing decorations, and setting up the festival site with furniture, decorations, plants, fencing, festival office, etc.
SECOND PHASE: THE CULTURAL SUMMIT (KULTURMØDET)
Finally, it’s all happening! 40,000 guests and artists will visit Kulturmødet, and you will be a part of making it all run smoothly. You will be working alongside our large crew of amazing volunteers. Tasks during this phase include stagehands and runners, helping in the dishwashing station, keeping the festival site tidy, artist care, and helping out at the kids’ festival.
And of course, there will also be time for you to enjoy the festival with your new Work Camp friends.
LAST PHASE: THE GREAT CLEAN UP DAY
You will take part in the fastest festival clean-up in history. We try to do this as swiftly and enjoyably as possible, so we can all go home and get some rest.
WORKING HOURS
You will work 7 hours a day. During the preparation and clean-up phases, this will primarily be between 09:00 and 16:00. During the festival, shifts can be in the evenings.
The first workday will begin the day after arrival, and the last working day will be the day before departure.
You will have the first weekend of your stay off, and some shorter workdays in between.

Scopri Gasværksvej 60, 7900 Nykøbing Mors, Denmark
The Cultural Summit takes place in the town of Nykøbing Mors on the island of Mors in northern Denmark. Nykøbing is the biggest town on the island, with about 10,000 inhabitants.
You will be living in a town with proximity to shops and grocery stores, but on an island that is quite rural compared with the rest of Denmark.
The island is a beloved summer destination for many tourists, with notable nature, good hiking opportunities, unique geological cliff formations, many good beaches, and a special island vibe. We will provide recommendations for things to do during your days off.
During the weekend of the Summit, the town of Nykøbing Mors turns into a vibrant festival site with 40,000 visitors. In your leisure time during the three days of the Summit, you will get to experience the festival program.
The Summit is primarily a talk festival with many conversations in Danish, but we also have a vibrant arts and culture program including film, theatre, dance, and live music.
