You will participate in the life of the festival supervised by the volunteers of the Crest Jazz association. You will help with the installation of the festival facilities : setting up the two scenes, the dressing rooms, the bar, the cafeteria, the offices. And at the end of the festival you will help dismantling and tidying up of all the equipment. During the festival, you will regularly clean the site and the toilets and will participate in the waste management by respecting the selective sorting. On certain evenings you will participate in the sale of drinks and souvenirs at the stands.The working hours are usually 3 to 4hours every mornings, but it can be variable depending on the teams needs. The rest of the time will be dedicated to leisure and group life.During the workcamp, your motivation is essential. The tasks on the festival can be physicals and messy (equipment transportation) but are essentials to the festival s success. You must be particularly dynamic, enthusiastic and ready to meet the public and the many volunteers present. This workcamp will allow you to discover the logistics necessary for the setting up and running of a festival. You will develop your capacities of adaptability, versatility and responsibility. Your dynamism and your reactivity will also be reinforced. A schedule will be given to you at the beginning of the project and will call upon your listening skills, your autonomy and your rigor. The group life will consolidate these human skills.

Located in the Rhone Valley and at the gateway to Provence and the Diois, Crest has 9,000 inhabitants. An ancient medieval town with a rich heritage, Crest has the highest dungeon in France (52m high). Very lively in the summer, the town offers many activities, both sporting and cultural: visit of the Art Center, visit of the Tower, free concerts, swimming pools, hiking, visit of Valence. You will often be in contact with the volunteers of the Crest Jazz Vocal Association and will share many moments of exchange. You will be accommodated in the city center, in the former teachers rooms located on the second floor of the public school. You will have a toilet and a shower on site. Your living quarters are located in another building nearby where a kitchen, a shower and an additional toilet will be at your disposal. Each volunteer will be expected to take an active part in the life of the group: preparation of meals, cleaning of dishes, cleaning of toilets and premises.

For the past ten years, the Crest Jazz association has been hosting a team of young international volunteers at its annual festival Crest Jazz Festival . Recognized in the world of the Jazz scene, this festival welcomes nearly 10 000 spectators each year. During one week, national and international confirmed artists such as Jacques Dutronc, Ayo, Swing Machine Big Bang or Stanley Clarke and young talents take turns to deliver quality concerts, which you can attend freely (free Pass). This event requires an important material preparation and mobilizes a hundred volunteers. Your mission will be to bring your support before, during and after the festival.

“Beyond the vineyard: the dry stone heritage” is a camp based on dry stone works, which were declared cultural heritage by UNESCO.
Participants are going to recover a huge stone wall in a vineyard area and also a shepherd's stone hut. They are also going to work in a Civil War trench area in order to make them more accessible to visitors.
Subirats is a rural area with little towns and villages, so the impact is quite big. Participants will meet local people and will collaborate in the conservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the area.
The working hours will be in the mornings from 8 to 13h approx. with a break in the middle of the morning. Work will always be outdoors, but it will be changed in case of extreme climate conditions and volunteers will always work in safe conditions.
The technical tasks are:
- Restoration and maintenance of the dry stone margins between the cores of Ordal and Saint Paul of Ordal. -Restoration and maintenance of the remnants of trenches from the Civil War that are in the same area.
- Restoration of a shepherd's hut located near the Archaeological Jaciment of Subirats.
- Location of dry stone constructions using the Wikipedra portal. -Maintenance Tasks in Saint Paul's Ordal (maintenance of public banks and children's park)
- Build and place nest boxes.
The rest of the time will be for leisure, swimming pool and other activities, and weekends will be organized for visits and others.

The privileged geographical situation, a plain protected by mountains by the sea, the mild climate of the Mediterranean coast and a permeable land, rich in phosphorus, make the region of El Penedès, the main producer of wines and cavas in Catalonia. This wine history goes back to at least the 4th century B.C.
The vineyard structures are thus a distinctive cultural feature of the area, and they have been refined over time. The Subirats area, halfway between the Vilafranca plain and the Ordal mountains, has steeper terrain than the rest of the region. That is why, in this area, the structure of dry stone walls and constructions, which are necessary for leveling the ground and plotting the vineyards, is quite important.
Leisure activities will be held every day.
A list of the main activities that are in the programme:
- Group games, workshops and cultural activities in order to learn more about Catalan culture and the vineyard tradition in the area.
- Participants will visit cultural and historical areas and museums in Subirats, a wine and champagne factory and also Vilafranca del Penedès, the Catalan's wine capital.
- They will also visit the city of Barcelona, which is only 45 km from the accommodation area.
- You will participate in the rehearsals of a group of “castellers”, learning how catalan human towers are made.

The participants of the work camp will be installed in “ZER Montcau”, a multifunctional space of a school in the center of town, and will have a large patio, toilets and showers (separated boys and girls, with hot water, indoor and shared), a kitchen and the pool by the school.
The participants will sleep in a large room all together in the same space without gender separation, on bunk beds.
The area has high temperatures in summer, so bring cotton and fresh clothes. The hosting organization highly recommends long sleeve shirts and t-shirts for the working hat to protect from the sun. Volunteers will go to the pool by the school.
There will be a catering providing the food for the volunteers and snacks and fruit will be provided during breaks. There are vegetarian/vegan options, also other cultural reasons and any allergy options.

Second oldest workcamp in YRS focuses on the natural protected reserve "Kraljevac" and what it has to offer to the locals and visitors.
In order to preserve the important balance in the zone, volunteers will work on the areas around the lake, cleaning up the bank, taking care of the fishing place, restoring the paths, etc. There are, also, some bad plants (roots, invasive species) that need to be removed, so that the eco-system can thrive. Also, some areas with long grass will be cut and restored in order. Benches and places for visitors will be fixed, if necessary.

On the edge of Deliblatska peščara (Deliblato Sands, the largest sand area in Europe), in the midst of the Vojvodina plains, in the picturesque village of Deliblato, lies an oasis of peace-Special Nature Reserve Kraljevac. Lake Kraljevac with its floating and permanently anchored islands, surrounding reedbeds, woodlands, meadows, and pastures supports a rich diversity of plant and animal life. Floating islands continually change the surrounding landscape, so sometimes it all gives an impression of being in some magical lands. Those islands, together with the permanently anchored ones are remnants of lowland peat bogs, globally one of the rarest and most threatened habitats, so they represent one of Serbia’s last refuges of the relict plant community of Marsh Fern and Grey Willow. The area is also part of internationally important zone for protected birds (IBA). Many of them live in surroundings or come by to eat. Purple and squacco heron (Ardea purpurea, Ardeola ralloides), night heron (Nycticorax nycticorax), alcids (Alcidae) are just some among many different species that visit the area.
During leisure hours volunteers will have a chance to go on boat rides to get to know surrounding nature. Also, excursions to the interesting places nearby can be organized.
For the end, there is possibility that the volunteers will participate in educational workshops with local children.
Just bing the patience and smile and it will be one unforgettable adventure!

All volunteers and camp-leaders will be accommodated in the Education and Research Centre in Special Natural Reserve Kraljevac in 2-bed, 3-bed and 5-bed rooms (linen included, sleeping bag is not required) with shared toilets and showers.
Volunteers will be provided with a cute kitchen with all the facilities and groceries will be brought to them in order that they can cook.

There are no specific requirements, but if you want to enjoy your time more in more relaxed manner, bring appropriate clothes and sun protection, as well as a good mosquito repellent.

The Sport Fishing Association “Deliblato Lake” was established in 2000 with the aim to promote sport fishing and nature conservation among the local community and young people in Deliblato. It manages Special Nature Reserve Kraljevac that was declared “the first category protected area of greatest national importance” by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in 2009. Since then, for the 10th time in its history the Sport Fishing Association Deliblato Lake along with the Young Researchers of Serbia are organizing an international volunteer eco camp.
Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. Voluntary Service of Serbia is a volunteer exchange service center founded in 1990 as one of the sectors of YRS.

We invite 12 international volunteers to help continue the construction of the Celtic housing complex in Bopfingen. So far, seven workcamp groups, local volunteers of the community of Bopfingen and a team of professional craftsmen have been working on the three houses of the Celtic housing complex. Your task will be to continue the work there by finishing the walls and floors. The working place is set on the top of the hill “Ipf”, so you will be working outside a lot with a wonderful view over the region. All the materials you work with are natural materials like clay, wood, and stone. The work will be led by a professional instructor, so no previous experience is needed. Expect manual work! You will work around 30 hours per week, somewhere between 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday with a 1-2 hour lunchbreak.

Bopfingen is a small town in southern Germany. It has a beautiful centre with a lot of houses in old German style. What makes Bopfingen special is the hill next to the town which is called “Ipf” with its flat plateau on the top. The “Ipf” has an important historical meaning in this area. In former times, the Celts lived there and until today a lot of archaeologists and historians come to explore the region. It is surrounded by beautiful nature where you can go for a walk or hike. Around Bopfingen, you will find various museums, the romantic historic city of Nördlingen, and the Ries (a large circular meteor impact crater with a diameter of 24 km). If you would like to visit a bigger city, Ulm is not far away with its famous cathedral and the highest church tower in the world.

You will be staying at a local gym hall at about 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre and 15 minutes from the train station. You will all sleep in the very big main room of the gym hall. Camp beds are provided but please bring your own sleeping bag! In the gym hall there is also a kitchen which you can use for cooking, tables and chairs, different toilets which can be separated by gender and one bathroom with one shower. Your group of volunteers will be responsible for grocery shopping and cooking together. The food will be bought with the camp budget and everybody will take turns for cooking, washing the dishes and cleaning. In order to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat and try more sustainable dishes.

The town of Bopfingen invites an international workcamp for the seventh time this year! A couple years back, researchers found archaeological evidence from the Celtic people that used to live here thousands of years ago in the Iron Age. The town’s project for the next years is to rebuild some of the houses in Celtic style to show tourists how the Celts may have lived in this area. By participating to this project you contribute to protecting the local cultural heritage in a sustainable way (UN SDG 9 and 11). You will also be part of the strong partnership between international volunteers and this project in Bopfingen, as international workcamps have helped with building the complex almost every year.

The Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, 40 km east of Berlin, offers a unique natural and cultural landscape as well as an area for our project in and around the ‘Drei Eichen’ environmental education centre. By cooperating with the nature park administration, we will not only get to know the nature park and its surroundings, but also actively help to shape it.
We are offering this work camp because it is fun to have young people from all over the world with us and because we simply need a lot of hands for some of the work!
People and pets live on the grounds of the Drei Eichen environmental education centre - and there are almost always lots of guests: children, families, seminar groups.
For activities in between, Drei Eichen and its grounds offer many opportunities to learn about plants and animals, nature conservation and alternative ways of life and to actively participate. These include the tipi village and the wilderness education centre, the Zeidlerei station and a pottery workshop. Excursions or courses can be organised here by prior arrangement.
On some days you will ‘give something back to Drei Eichen’ by working on the farm - because sometimes we need many hands: e.g. for wood protection coating on the grounds, construction projects and repair work, clearing the small pond of plant growth or preparing areas for new planting in late autumn. We decide at short notice and depending on the weather.
At various locations in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, we will spend a few days helping to carry out various landscape maintenance tasks in different natural areas. The aim is to protect or promote either particularly dry or particularly wet sites, their soil and the native plants that grow there. Historically, these sites were created and maintained through a lot of manual labour - seasonal mowing and grazing by sheep and goats. Today, we help with this. There are many lakes that invite you to take a refreshing dip after work!
We also want to focus on the topic of water at the camp. The idea is to revitalise a dried-up pond by adding clay, thus keeping the water in the nature park and creating new habitats for amphibians, for example.
All work, whether in landscape conservation, craftsmanship or creative design, takes place outdoors. We plan together on site, depending on the current weather conditions, on which days we do which work and which days we take off.

For activities in between, Drei Eichen with its terrain offers many opportunities to learn about plants and animals, nature conservation and alternative ways of life and to actively participate.
There are many great options for spending your free time. Among them are GPS tour(s) in the nature park, guided hikes on biodiversity, a visit to the bat museum, trips to surrounding lakes, going to the movies, visiting the pub "lokal." in Buckow, making a campfire; going to an artificial climbing forest or doing a canoe tour in the area. Those who long for more urban hustle and bustle on the weekend can also take a day trip to Berlin or even go to Poland, which is not that far away.
We plan together on site, depending on the current weather conditions, among other things, on which days we do what work and on which days we take off.

You will stay at the Drei Eichen environmental education centre, located in the middle of the forest, 4km from Buckow (www.dreichen.de). As a group, you will have a flat with kitchen, bathroom, toilet, lounge-kitchen, large balcony and 3 simple multi-bed rooms. We can also provide tents on request. You cook together. Money for shopping will be provided. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please indicate any intolerances when registering.

It helps if you have an interest in physical work and some strength. Please bring weatherproof work clothes/long sleeves and pants, the work takes place outdoors. Mosquito repellent, sunscreen are also essential. Shoes that can withstand water are good - outdoor sandals or similar.

If you like being outdoors in nature, spending evenings around the campfire, exploring the forest with people from all over the world in adventure activities and working hands-on in the forest together with the foresters, then this project at the Hahnhorst Forest Education Centre is exactly the one for you. The study part of the project consists of various workshops such as making a fire, reading tracks, carving course, bow and arrow, adventure night hike, herbs/forest fruits excursion and orienteering. By taking part in the workshops, you will be well prepared for the overnight stay in the forest. You will also spend 4 hours a day working with foresters and forestry workers on nature conservation projects in the forest, helping to improve the quality of habitats for rare animal and plant species and protect the climate. The forestry work starts early in the morning. The survival workshops take place in the afternoons.

Participants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant will be selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods, and laptops, if possible. While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture through active participation: capturing it, engaging with it, and showcasing their work throughout the camp. One of our goals is to empower young people to use photography to highlight environmental and cultural subjects and issues.Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.This camp is open to participants aged 16 to 20. During their stay, SEEDS organises a programme that combines learning, sharing, getting to know Iceland and its culture, and having fun while exploring the city and some of the most stunning natural attractions in the Golden Circle and Reykjanes Peninsula excursions. Note that this is a learning/sharing camp and not a regular workcamp; this project has a smaller volunteer work part and emphasises the personal learning process over the community impact. We may be able to organise some outdoor voluntary work, but it depends on our partners and the weather conditions.

SEEDS participants will stay in a house in Reykjavik. The facilities are basic with an equipped kitchen, dining and living room, bathrooms, showers and a washing machine. As participants sleep in shared rooms with up to 6 people, everyone is expected to behave considerately. Please bring your own towel. Participants will receive food supplies and be in charge of the cooking and cleaning activities. Note the food SEEDS provides will be vegetarian. Do not forget to bring some traditional/typical food, drinks, recipes, music or games from your country for the intercultural evening. Be aware some items or ingredients may be expensive in Iceland and you will need to buy them yourselves or bring them from your country.

English will be the language in the camp; intermediate conversational skills are needed. Closest international Airport: Keflavik/Reykjavik (KEF). Bus station: Central Reykjavik (BS).Participation fee EUR 650 (Euros), which needs to be transferred to SEEDS the latest one month before the camp starts to confirm the placement. It includes food, accommodation, transportation from the meeting point to the camp (on the first day), the Golden Circle and Reykjanes excursions. We will visit spectacular waterfalls, geysers, impressive coastline, a volcano crater, the Thingvellir National Park and much more.Additional excursions (eg. Hot River Hike or the South Shore) can be arranged at discount fares depending on time availability, weather conditions, and the number of participants interested in joining them. Be prepared for cold or rainy weather and bring warm and/or waterproof clothing.

VOLUNTEERING: There is a range of dates available for this project from 2-5 weeks. Volunteers will be part of an amazing ‘Camp counselling’ team where they will help shadow and learn the role of how to be part of an amazing Summer Camp team. Volunteers will help run games and activities with the young campers, making sure that they have a fun and memorable experience. Volunteers will also help to ensure that the camp is kept clean, tidy and safe by taking turns in cleaning the communal areas and making sure everything is running smoothly.
Volunteers will also have training and reading prior to the start of the camp to prepare for the role.

LOCATION AND LEISURE: Camp Crusoe’s home for the summer is the absolutely fantastic Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre in East Anglia, Norfolk near historic Cambridge. It is set in glorious private woodland with views of the rolling landscape, large fields and forest. Volunteers will enjoy socialising with other counsellors and during leisure time can go biking, swimming and canoeing.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD: An essential element of Summer Camp is the cabin experience. Campers sleep in a number of secure and modern cabins, separated into two cabin glades by gender. VOLUNTEERING: There is a range of dates available for this project from 2-5 weeks. Volunteers will be part of an amazing ‘Camp counselling’ team where they will help shadow and learn the role of how to be part of an amazing Summer Camp team. Volunteers will help run games and activities with the young campers, making sure that they have a fun and memorable experience. Volunteers will also help to ensure that the camp is kept clean, tidy and safe by taking turns in cleaning the communal areas and making sure everything is running smoothly.
Volunteers will also have training and reading prior to the start of the camp to prepare for the role.

Each day of the camp will have a program completed by local coordinators and the volunteers will be helping to realize it. The main activities will be intercultural learning through finding differences and similarities between Estonia and countries, where volunteers come from (history, traditions, language, singing, dancing). It will be done through games, drama, sport, discussions. We expect that volunteers would lead a workshop connected with their culture (traditional dances, games, everyday life, food specialities, etc.) It can be educational one or as a game to play. Taevaskoja Youth Camp is adventurous hiking camp that has been active for over 30 years. The aim of Taevaskoja camp is to support children s development through non-formal education. During the youth camp kids participate in different workshops about health, safety, culture and enjoy climbing and hiking activities. Taevaskoja is located in South-Estonia, about 220 km from Tallinn. The camp site is very close to the one of the most popular natural touristic place - Suur Taevaskoda (The Large Heaven s Hall), surrounded by beautiful forest and close to the one of the longest rivers in Estonia. Such location brings children closer to unspoiled nature and gives them an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with Estonian national heritage richly presented in the area. The camp aims also to develop children s knowledges about different cultures and support the growth of tolerance. The project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to the youth and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication by means of alternative English language practice which includes meetings, visits and direct contacts to young people from abroad. The project gets teens of 14 to 16 years old familiar with national traditions of the countries from all over the world, encourages them to develop their global thinking and individual initiative, tolerance and resistance to xenophobia and ethnic hatred. Camps give foreign participants a great chance to meet youngsters both from Estonia and other countries as well as to experience local life. This summer we offer you to participate in our project called KALEIDOSCOPE . We invite camp participants to discuss ideas of chaos and order, mess and harmony. Together, we will discover our own infinite potential and freedom to create new patterns of life, same way as we create patterns out of random single pieces of colourful glass twisting a kaleidoscope. We will learn how to find harmony in apparent disorder and use chaos as a tool for stress relief, how to turn imperfection into the source of true beauty and embrace uncertainty to make our life journey more successful, unique and vibrant. Camp participants will gain ideas and skills how to deal with a million of combinations of the world s reality.Meetings with local and/or international professionals in the field will take place. Thematic photo and video contests for camp participants will be organized.

Gönüllü Hizmetler Derneği-Childhood Dreams program, organized for children between the ages of 10-14 with limited access, is a social content and child-themed workcamp. A volunteer team consisting of foreign and Turkish volunteers will run a 1-week camp program with under state care children. The program content, activities to be done with the children and the organization of the volunteer team will be planned by the Childhood Dreams camp leader. The camp has been running successfully since 2009 with the same theme.

Kalben Children's Village was established by Kalben Association in 2024. The village is on an island in Balıkesir (city). It is possible to organize activities such as swimming and walking tours on the island as part of the program for volunteers.

Summer school aimed at promoting youth learning about the value of nature and the environment by bringing them closer to and connecting them with the local natural ecosystem. This fosters environmental awareness and provides them with learning tools, as well as respect for nature and humanity, through activities focused on the local flora and fauna.
- Volunteers will prepare with the help of the coordinators and campleaders different activities and workshops for the local children (we are looking for committed and proactive participants).
- Volunteers will participate in relaxion workshops, excursions, activities in the rural world and natural sciencies, manual and creative activities.
A space free of screens, warm, for learning and fun among all young people and focused on nature will be created. The participant will be instructed and will instruct to become familiar with the true protagonists of the camps, nature and coexistence. They will learn to know, respect and value the land and the inhabitants who populate it.
Knowledge of English is mandatory and Spanish or Valencian is valued.
During the summer, temperatures can be very high, and weather conditions may not be optimal due to this.

Altea La Vella is a district of Altea, a municipality in the province of Alicante (Spain). It has 583 inhabitants (INE 2012). This place of the Marina Baja is located between the sea and the mouintains and was the origin of the current Altea. Its white houses stand out. It is located 3.5km south north of the urban center of Altea, 3 km south of the Sierra de Bernia, 2 km west of the Mediterranean Sea and 9 km from Callosa de Ensarria.

The facilities of Finca Santa Barbara have the optimal requirements for carrying out this project, since they are located in a rural enclave, with toilets, showers, children's games area, a picnic area, camping areas for TENTS and a swimming pool. Summer sleeping bag is necessary.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader. Tents will be provided by the organization yet you can bring your own tent if you wish

If we don't recieve the fee and the flight/bus tickets of the volunteer, we will consider that she/he will not attending to project and we will give opportunity to other volunteers that are on the waiting list.

The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.

In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

Guanglong Community is located in the southeastern part of Taiping District at the foot of Chelongpu Mountain Range. It is bordered to the north by Xinglong Village, to the south by Yonglong Village, and to the west by Changyi Village, with the Toubiankeng River serving as the natural boundary. With an area of 3.1059 square kilometers, it is a village that was reborn after experiencing the horrible quake happened in Sep. 21st 1999.This project aims to provide a meaningful holiday experience by pairing volunteers with children in need of guidance and support in their learning journey. Participants will engage in activities such as reading, tutoring, and creative workshops, fostering an encouraging environment for the kids growth and development. Aims:Taiping District is a peripheral area of Taichung City, and Guanglong. Village is a quiet community located in the Chelongpu region of Taiping.Due to the scarcity and unequal distribution of resources, children have limited access to education, particularly in English learning environments. Faced with these challenges, the local community still lacks a comprehensive understanding of its own culture and social values.To address these issues, we aim to host a workcamp in Guanglong, fostering global understanding, sparking children s interest in learning, and enhancing their English abilities through in-depth interactions between local residents and international youth.Project Objectives:1.Enrich learning experiences in Guanglong by introducing new companionship programs led by both global and local volunteers.2.Promote friendship, understanding, and cultural exchange by involving local residents and international volunteers in agricultural activities.3.Lay the foundation for children s international perspective and inspire their diverse creative abilities.4.International Culinary Exchange: Enriching the culinary experiences of community residents by learning and sharing cooking techniques from different countries. The accommodation is located in Palancar village, geographically included in the Natura 2000 network and Douro Internacional Natural Park, about 6 kms from Miranda do Douro city. Located in a rural area in the northeast of Portugal, very close to the border with Spain, its a village that suffers aging population problems, which makes these experiences very important for the rural development of this region.

Basic housing with electricity ( with one large room equipped with bunk beds, one living room, WC, and showers with hot water. There is no bar in the village neither a supermarket, but if something is needed, we can easily support the volunteers to get it. Volunteers who want extra privacy can bring camping tents. Theres good wifi in the proximity of the accommodation, more precisely at the CAB office, which is in the village.

The main goals of this workcamp are the recovery of rural heritage, enhancing the biodiversity of our Center, and promoting the animal welfare of donkeys and their quality of life. We want to o enable the discovery of the Miranda Plateau, a unique rural region, rich in natural beauty, biodiversity, culture and traditions. With so aging population in these villages, one of the goals is bringing together the young participants and the local community, therefore promoting intercultural (urban/rural, international/national) and intergenerational (youngsters/ elderly) encounters and exchanges.

The facility includes five bedrooms, with a mix of double and triple rooms, divided by gender, ensuring privacy and comfort. Women in the Great Greek Tragedies
We explore from the character “Medea” by Euripides.Rejected for being a woman, a foreigner and from another religion.
Acting training: microtheater and monologue: the one-person show.
Writing and Dramaturgy of “Medea”, based on Raquel Bazo’s version of the original by Euripides.
Rehearsals, staging, wardeobe, characterization.
Performances to the public, on 30 and 31 july, in “Pórtico del Foro”
Production in Agusto en Mérida, part of the International Classical Theater of Merida.
Assistance to technical and human staff during the performances (sound and lighting, box office, seating)
Attendance to other groups rehearsals and performances.
This training will be given by profesionals specialised in theatre and classical culture.
Participants must be involved in an active way, taking into account theur creative and/or artistic abilities.
Training will be given at C.C. Alcazaba.
Participants must bring with them brown or black sandals (like the “slaves” ones: without platform nor decorations)
Information will be previously sent to participants via mail.

Sessions will be organised in three big parts:
• Theorical-practical theatre training
• Rehearsals of the scenes that will come out of the searching, exploring and creative process around the figure of Medea, Jasón, Creusa, Creonte, etc.
• Performances in small format/microtheater
Theater specialised instructors won't be accompaning participants, there will be a english specialised instructor to do that task and help in communication.

The Institute for Youth of Extremadura is the regional governement department responsible for youth policies. We work to provide young people with information about different programmes aimed at youth which are coordinated by other government departments.
In this volunteer camp, we cooperate with the Board of Merida's International Classical Theatre Fetiival, celebrated every summer. Our volunteer camp has become part of the Festival agenda.
