Lepaniidi Farm has currently about 100 sheep for producing meet and wool, over 40 goats, 20 of whom are for milk and goat cheese production. Volunteers will be helping grazing, feeding, milking the goats, processing the milk, but also picking berries and vegetables. So, in the mornings there will be goats milking, at days - picking the berries and fruits (strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrant) and making a jam/juice or there will be work in vegetable garden, removing weeds, picking vegetables, etc. Towards end of summer volunteers will be mainly picking up and sorting vegetables (potatoes, carrots, beetroots), milking goats and making cheese. Participants will have a great chance to get familiar with various farm jobs and even to learn how to make goat cheese Inside of the house it would be great to give some hand cooking and cleaning around. The working day will be 6-7 hours, 5-6 days a week (NB: milking is every day). Work will be supervised by local hosts with whom volunteers will stay sharing work and leisure as a family.

This camp is absolutely suitable for people who enjoy nature and interested in traditional ways of rural living.

The accommodation conditions at the farm is simple but decent - in old sauna house or caravan but on beds. Please bring your sleeping bag. Toilets and showers are available in the main house; there is also traditional Estonian sauna in the farm. There is a kitchen with necessary equipment for cooking, which volunteers may use freely i just like at home. Usually volunteers will have breakfasts and lunch together with farmers cooked and served by the hosts, but you always can help with cooking. Dinners will be prepared by volunteers.

Special requirementsMotivation letter is required. You have to be ready to adapt to the simple conditions of the common life in the country side of Estonia and be willing to do farm work, which can be hard sometimes. Not suitable for lactose allergic participants since host offers a lot of dairy products. The host eats a lot of meat products too, but volunteers can always cook for themselves. Smoking and drinking alcohol is not allowed in this camp. Participation feeWe ask participants to contribute 60 Euros towards the costs of the general administration. This fee has to be paid by bank transfer before the beginning of the stay. If you cannot make it, ask your sending organization for solution.

According to the Nordic sagas Hiiumaa emerged from the Baltic Sea as a small islet more than 10 000 years ago. The island of Hiiumaa was first mentioned in historical documents as a deserted island called Dageida in 1228. The first inhabitants settled down at the end of the 13th century. Nowadays Hiiumaa is the second biggest island of Estonia with the area of 965 sq. km and the population around 9 000. It has many historical and nature sights, and there are kind people known for their hospitality and good sense of humor. The island is referred as a remote area of Europe, so EstYES feels particularly proud developing international voluntary projects for over 20 years there. For years EstYES has been cooperating with farms all over Estonia for solidarity and practical support to local people who work in agricultural sector keeping traditional life style and developing new eco-farming despite of all difficulties. Lepaniidi Farm on Hiiumaa Island is one of such projects. This is an organic farm promoting sustainable lifestyle, and camp is proposed for volunteers who appreciate and share its values, want to learn more about it and to help hard working people.NB It is possible to adapt the arrival date to your availability.

At the crossroads of charming little villages of southern Saintonge, you can take full advantage of the local heritage. When you're not working on the site, you can take part in summer activities such as the music festival, night markets, and visits to local producers and tastings of their products. Outings to the cities, La Rochelle, Rochefort or Angouleme and a day at the ocean can also be organised. Cognac and St-Emilion, two of France's famous wine cities, are also nearby!

Accommodation will be in tents for one or two people, near the municipal stadium. You must bring your own warm duvet and pillow, and we will provide inflatable mattresses. You will have access to changing rooms for showers and meal preparation. You will be 800 metres from the site.
Food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner (you will have a food budget which the leaders will manage and communicate with you throughout the work camp). Meals, especially lunch and dinner, will be prepared by participants on a rotating basis, ensuring respect for environmental values, local resources, and everyone's cultural preferences. Both hot and cold dishes, as well as vegetarian and vegan options, will be included.

Take part in the protection of the Auga peat bog! At the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, this natural area is a unique mosaic of ecosystems! The commune of Louvie-Juzon is located at the gateway to the Ossau valley, just a stone's throw from the Pyrenees mountain range. Between the mountains and the sheep and cow pastures, this site, right in the middle of nature, will be an opportunity to discover the small mountain villages around, their inhabitants, the gastronomic specialities and the nearby hiking trails! Get your boots ready! On the site of the peat bog itself, small footpaths allow you to wander through this magnificent natural area and observe the birds, dragonflies and endemic flowers.

You will be accommodated in individual tents, with sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a communal living area. You'll have the chance to sleep on the peat bog site, right in the middle of nature. An old barn on the site has been refurbished and now contains modern facilities, with a kitchen, toilets and a large enclosed room for meals and activities during the stay. The showers are in Louvie-Juzon, a 5-minute drive away, and we'll be going there at least once a day.
You will share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you will help with the grocery-shopping and cooking, giving priority to healthy, local produce and vegetarian meals.
WIFI available, laundry done by hand.

Foreigners from the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

The peat bog is a wetland classified as a sensitive natural area. Around ten years ago, the commune of Louvie-Juzon undertook the restoration and enhancement of this former pastoral site. It is now managed by the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. Numerous awareness-raising missions are carried out on site throughout the year for schoolchildren and local residents. The Auga peat bog is home to some remarkable plant and animal species. The workcamp will not only be an opportunity to help preserve this unique site, but also to discover all its secrets thanks to the many specialists who will be on hand to show you around.

This project is actively working on SDG2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG4 (Quality Education), and has been working with Ozuchi Village since 2013. Ozuchi Village was established by local people to preserve the original landscape. In 1916, there were 140 residents and 20 houses, but now only one person lives there. Fortunately, 10 houses remain and the village is designated as a national important traditional buildings preservation district. The village retains the landscape and lifestyle of old Japan that is no longer in existence. In order to preserve this place and culture, we are trying to improve the situation with the power of young volunteers. Since 2016, Ozuchi Village and NICE have started a monthly weekend work camp, and more than 300 volunteers visit the village every year, fall in love with the village, and participate as repeat visitors or support the village in whatever way they can! The local hosts hope to pass this village on to the next generation!*Results of this work camp: The village was abandoned, but one of the former villagers maintained the rice terraces and landscape. However, the work camp gave him such strength that he started living there again in 2018!

You will be working on the maintenance of camping areas in the hamlet of Vaunieres. You will be involved in clearing brush and landscaping, as well as dismantling and storing the wooden components of a yurt. A local expert will guide you through the various tasks. Each day, two members of the group will take turns preparing meals for the team; the menu will be defined in advance. You will work on-site during the mornings from Monday to Friday.
Generally speaking, the work involves carpentry, preparing tools and meals, as well as organizing and setting up collective life.

The hamlet of Vaunieres is 6km from Saint Julien en Beauchene village and 23km from the nearby town of Veynes. There's no Wi-Fi, and the connection is weak, but you'll meet people from all over the world!

Here, we pay close attention to our diet to reduce our environmental impact: we eat locally as much as possible and reduce our meat consumption to twice a week. Daily life is organized collectively: menus (vegetarian, vegan diets, etc.), shopping, activities, and so on. Once or twice per week, we organize shopping trips using the vehicles provided on-site.

Based on the time of the year the volunteers will be working during the day or at night in the months of August and September from 20:00 to 08:00. Depending on the number of turtles that come ashore, two teams might be formed among the volunteers. In this way, each group will be taking turns, working one night, and taking the next night off for recovery. In addition, the weekends are also spared for resting. Some of the activities to be performed are:
1. Finding adult turtles and collecting their eggs.
2. Moving the eggs to a protected place called Vivero.
3. Releasing newborn baby turtles into the sea.
4. Patrolling the beaches at night.
5. Making some reconstruction in the most important turtle camps of the region.
Please consider that the schedule is subject to change depending on the weather conditions and the condition of the sea turtles and it is possible to work with crocodiles in case there is no work with turtles, this can happen mostly in the months of January and February. The coordinator or the camp leader will be informing you regarding your work schedule.

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming "Ohenro (pilgrims)" who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago. The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting "Kakurin-ji temple"; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage locals are trying to find new ways for "omotenashi (hospitality)". Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land. Local host Oi have finally decided that they can freely renovate and modify the vacant houses. Moreover, the site is in a good location, with mountains, a river and fields. It is up to the volunteers from now on to decide how to develop the project. The aim is for the volunteer members to clean up the abandoned houses and village landscape and transform it into a village that people will want to visit to take photos, as it used to be a village where people came and went since ancient times.

Volunteers will be involved in setting up for the Svatava festival, which includes tasks like: preparing party tents, benches, and managing post-event cleanup, such as sorting waste. Additionally, they will contribute to enhancing public spaces, like cleaning playgrounds, removing weeds, and painting fences. Another important task is cleaning a former air-raid shelter, part of the women’s concentration camp memorial, which includes removing soil, clearing small bushes, and tidying the surrounding area to preserve this historical site. Tasks will continue regardless of the weather, so volunteers should come prepared with sturdy clothing and shoes and a raincoat. While no special skills are needed, a moderate level of physical effort will be required, including the use of tools like shovels, rakes, and brooms.

Location: The workcamp will take place in Svatava, a small town 2 km north of Sokolov, with around 1,600 residents. It has a grocery store, a school, and easy access to larger shops in Sokolov. The area is reachable by bus or train, and Sokolov offers an ATM and pharmacy.
Leisure time: Svatava is close to several interesting attractions. In Sokolov, you can visit a castle, museum, swimming pool, and enjoy local cafes and restaurants. Loket, located 12 km from Svatava, is known for its historic castle and charming cafes. Nature enthusiasts can explore the nearby Erika Nature Reserve, which is part of the NATURA 2000 network. In a reachable distance there is also Medard Lake which offers swimming and some sports activities. You can also visit the abandoned Tin Mine Jeroným for a tour, either individually or with the organizer.
Study part: At the beginning of the workcamp, volunteers will participate in a joint meeting to learn about the municipality's history, and how their work ties into the local community’s life. Additionally, a cultural exchange event will be organized, where volunteers and local residents can come together to prepare and share traditional dishes, explore each other’s customs, and enjoy a tasting session.

Volunteers will stay in a gymnasium/cultural center in Svatava with a fully equipped kitchenette. The accommodation provides four toilets and one shared shower. Volunteers are required to bring their own sleeping mats, sleeping bags, pillows, towels, indoor footwear, and personal items like insect repellents. WiFi and a microwave are available, but there is no washing machine. For meals, the organizer will provide hot lunches with a mixed diet. Breakfasts and dinners will be prepared by the volunteers themselves . The building is close to a small grocery store. Gluten-free diets are not accommodated.

For the long-term placement of a year, you will have to pay an Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) which will cost £1035 this allows you to access the National Healthcare Service during your stay in the UK. You will be supported to sign up with a general practitioner (GP) upon your arrival to Tigh a’Chomainn.

PYC's main projects are running a school bus, teaching English in extracurricular classes, supporting the construction of a community center and establishing a library. Considering the increasing demands of villagers, PYC was officially established in 2007 which has played important roles for personal growth, life-long education and formation of leadership skills.

The work will be consisted of 3 parts. First one concerns painting of 10 informative signs with protective material. After that, they will be put onto planned locations. Second task will be preparing wooden baskets for trash (the volunteers will assemble the parts first) and placing them at specific positions, so the visitors can throw the trash in the right spot. Third one will be two big actions of cleaning the lake area, so everybody can enjoy in beautiful nature.

Lake Gruza (Gruža; pronounced: Gruzha) is located in the central region of Serbia, in the municipality Knić, not far from Kragujevac, regional center, that uses the water from it for drinking. It is surrounded by beautiful nature (even intact in many places), so the guests like to come here often (especially on weekends)! The water is rich in fish, especially carp and pikeperch. Also, this zone is a home for many rare and protected birds (IBA area).
The camp will take place on the edge of the lake, practically, in the center that is suitable for lectures, but also outdoor activities. In the center, there is permanent exhibition "Life in water", that is about different water organisms that live in Serbia and Yugoslavia/Balkan area.
Educative workshops will be organized, as well as some excursions, but more details on that will be written in the Infosheet.
In every case, bring a positive attitude, meeting people from other cultures is really important to the host!

The volunteers will be accommodated in the Eco-informative center "Jezero Gruža (Lake Gruza)". There will be 2 possibilities, to sleep in the tents in front of it and inside the center on mattresses. In both cases, everything will be provided (tents and sleeping bags in first case and bed-linens in the second). Still, if you bring your own, we will not make any problems. Haha.
Food will be provided from local farmers and volunteers will have the opportunity to make some meals for the others. Still, there will be no pressure about it.

Ekomar is an association whose goal is promotion and ecological marketing of natural resources. This summer, we will launch a project to enhance the outdoor area of the kindergarten in Großenmarpe, a small village close to Blomberg. One of the key features of this project will be the transformation of a construction trailer into a cozy café. With your help, we will create a meeting place for children, parents, and the entire village community. Volunteers will work together with the parents of the children and with professional workers. You will work with woodworking tools and get creative with paint.
The Großenmarpe Kindergarten and Family Centre is a facility for children aged 1 to 6 years. Our goal is to create a welcoming and engaging environment where families can come together, enjoy refreshments, and foster a sense of community.
We invite volunteers and participants to join us in this meaningful project, where we will not only beautify the outdoor space but also create a place for social interaction and connection. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families in Großenmarpe!
Besides this manual work, volunteers will interact with the kids. Be ready to bring some games you play in your country.

Since 2009, we have successfully organized workcamps in Blomberg in cooperation with the town hall. The result has been numerous wonderful projects that have enriched our community. The countless species of plants and animals, as well as different habitats, are unique on our planet; in Germany alone there are around 70,000 different animals, plants and microorganisms. This biodiversity forms the basis of all life, but nature is increasingly under threat. This camp is about the protection of meadow birds, some of which are threatened with extinction. You will work thematically, practically and creatively with experienced staff from various biological stations to protect them. We start in Zwillbrock, right on the Dutch border. You will be there for the first week, working and learning a lot about their work at the Biological Station and about the protection of meadow birds. On the first day, you will help in a protected area and remove shrubs and birch so that the area is free for meadow birds again. You will cycle the 4 km to the reserve. Day 2 offers a circular walk and you get to know different birds and learn to identify them. Afterwards, the two days serve as a practical and creative day for a sustainable meadow bird conservation project. After the week, you move on to the next project area. After you have settled into your new accommodation and explored the surrounding area on Sunday, the project continues on Monday with the other organic stations. Here, too, everything revolves around the protection of meadow birds. In the second project, your work is primarily practical. You will help to optimize the breeding sites of endangered meadow birds, which are mainly located near bodies of water. So you'll head off into shallow water and onto small gravel islands in your rubber boots to pull out willow seedlings and create gathering and resting places for animals. In the second project, you will also learn a lot about the work of the Bio Stations and this conservation project from their employees.

This workcamp offers you the opportunity to get to know two different regions. In the first week, you will be right on the Dutch border. Here you live in a very rural area, the nearest town is 10 km away. However, you will be provided with bicycles, which will take you on a discovery tour of the Netherlands in the direction of Winterwiek on Wednesday of the first week. You get to know a typical Dutch community with a weekly market and Kramermarkt and head to the Meddosee beach club. In the beautiful half-timbered town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, you are accommodated in the center of Wiedenbrück with stores, cafes and bars. The outdoor pool is nearby, and you can barbecue, chill out, play table tennis or go on excursions to the university towns of Münster, Bielefeld or Paderborn.

In this camp you are in two different places! Also important for your arrival and departure. The first week you will be accommodated in the brand new guest house of Biologische Zwillbrock e.V.. There are shared rooms, plenty of bathrooms and a self-catering kitchen with a dining area. There is also a terrace and the opportunity to barbecue. On Saturday, you will then move to the beautiful half-timbered town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück. There you will be accommodated in the guest house of the Wiedenbrück monastery. In shared rooms and with your own kitchen and sufficient sanitary facilities, you can also sit in the courtyard. You are right in the center of Wiedenbrück.
You must bring slippers! We charge all participants a deposit of 20,-€ for the accommodation, which we collect on site and which you get back when the accommodation is handed over properly.
You cook together. You will be provided with money for shopping. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please indicate any intolerances when registering.

To beautify the camp at Felixsee, you can help with the planting and maintenance of borders and renew the barefoot path.
The café in our multi-generation centre in Spremberg is in need of renovation. We would also like to redesign the outdoor area and rebuild a seating area.

Camp location: Spremberg, Brandenburg; 120 km South-East from Berlin. You can swim in Lake Felix, play beach volleyball, beach soccer and table tennis. A barbecue area is also available. In the town of Spremberg itself there are other leisure facilities, e.g. an adventure pool, cinema and a skate park. The unique Spreewald in the region is a paradise for boat and canoe tours. You also have the opportunity to experience the traditional local festival in Spremberg. During the camp there are numerous opportunities to get to know the region and its people.

PROJECT: This is the eighteenth year (since 2008) that SEEDS has organised a series of International Photography projects and we began organising these camps for teenagers in the year 2010. Throughout the year, participants from all over the world come to Iceland for an immersive photography-focused learning camp. SEEDS coordinators help participants to develop their unique photographic skills through workshops and feedback sessions on technical settings, compositional considerations, and creating conceptual frameworks that highlight each participant s individual style. Participants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant will be selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods, and laptops, if possible. While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture through active participation: capturing it, engaging with it, and showcasing their work throughout the camp. One of our goals is to empower young people to use photography to highlight environmental and cultural subjects and issues.Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.This camp is open to participants aged 16 to 20. Located in the heart of the Alpes de Hautes Provences department (04) and the Verdon Regional Natural Park, the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie has a rich built and natural heritage. You can stroll the streets of this village steeped in history and typical of Provence. You can also go up to the Chapel of Notre Dame de Beauvoir, a listed historic monument, which overlooks and offers an exceptional view of the village and the Verdon valley. You will meet earthenware artisans and visit the museum in the town. The residents, community volunteers and elected officials will come to meet you and will be happy to share their territory with you.
Alloggio
You will be accommodated in the building adjoining the Church, located in the center of the village. The sanitary facilities and kitchen will be at your disposal. You will participate in the collective preparation of meals and the tasks of daily life. You will go to the construction site on foot (around 10 minutes).

In the context of group life, skills such as listening, respect, tolerance and open-mindedness will be required.

Since 2021, the commune of Moustiers has been hosting international volunteer workcamps to preserve and enhance its natural and historical heritage.2021-2022: Restoration of the Madeleine cave trail, an emblematic site popular with visitors. This work has improved access, safety and the aesthetics of the trail.2024: Work on the apies walls, testimony to local beekeeping know-how. The work involved cleaning the access path, restoring the steps and laying new stones to preserve this unique heritage.Following the success of these workcamps, the commune of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of France s most beautiful villages, is keen to welcome a new team of volunteers to help enhance its rich heritage.

The Electra power station in Viesgo began operating at the beginning of the 20th century and was responsible for supplying energy to Cantabria.
Conservation and maintenance practices will be carried out on the accesses and machinery installed there, such as: cleaning, sanding, painting... All of this related to industrial heritage. Another part of the intervention consists of the recovery of the old engine house. In addition, the park of La Central in Puente Viesgo will be presented.

Puente Viesgo is a pretty village of the Autonomic Community of Cantabria, situated inside the ‘Valles Pasiegos’ and just half an hour and 31km from Santander. One of the most beautiful touristic attraction is the ‘Art Rural Centre’ which was created for spreading the archeologic and prehistoric heritage as it has got the ‘Monte Castillo’ caves complex, divided in four caves although only two of those are opened for visiting (‘La Cueva de las Monedas’ (coin cave) and ‘La cueva del Castillo’ (castle cave)). It also has a spa that takes advantage of the medicinal waters of the spring.
The aim of the complementary activities will be to promote solidarity, coexistence, equality and participation:
- A full touristic, cultural or sportive excursion day to the beach.
- A thematic workshop of Cantabria’s cultural heritage.
- A cave visit near the location
- A biking activity.
- A surfing activity.
- A hiking route activity.
- A workshop in equality.
- A workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Alloggio
Lodging will be at the Albergue Pas in Aés (2 km from Puente Viesgo). Barrio Quintana s/n, 39670 Aés.
Accommodation in shared rooms, bunk beds, communal showers and bathrooms, swimming pool and multipurpose romos.
Meal service will include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alternative menus may be provided by justified reasons, which must be specified at the time you book the activity. The meal will be in pic-nic format when there is any outing and excursion.
