You will work on the "Hochtalsteig" (High Valley Trail), a 16km award-winning circular hiking trail through the heights of the Black Forest with beautiful views. There is the Neumannshütte, a hiking/shelter hut, situated at a wonderful vantage point above our valley and directly on the much-travelled ‘Hochtalsteig’ premium hiking trail. This hut needs to be renovated. On top of that, you will help to build the panoramic swing. Specific tasks include:
• Replacing the wood panelling: Remove old wood panelling, cut new wood to size and seal it with protective coating.
• Upgrading the barbecue area: Create new seating made of wood or natural stone.
• Building the panoramic swing: Prepare the site, manufacture, assemble and secure the wooden swing and create a visual design as an ‘insta-spot’ with panoramic orientation.
You will work under the professional guidance of staff from the municipal service department. But please be aware that autumn can be cold and windy in the mountains – so please be prepared for long outdoor activities.

As many tourists visit the area in summer and winter, you can find many attractive places, sights and leisure time offers. But of course the nature is the highlight in itself. This is the perfect project for people loving simple life and outdoor activities in the mountains. It is surrounded by beautiful nature with high moors, forests and mountain pastures. You will stay in a mountain hut and improve a hiking hut. The village attracts many tourists, hikers in summer and people doing Nordic skiing during winter. Parts of this fantastic landscape are a nature protected area. Therefore, it is very important to make it accessible to people but at the same time, it is important to make the paths attractive and guide visitors so that they don’t leave the established paths and damage the nature. Part of this experience at hiking there is being able to have spaces to rest. The Neumannshütte, that you will help renovate, is one of them. To make the experience more unique, the village has decided to build a panoramic swing to swing into the landscape and to be used on social media.

Summer school aimed at promoting youth learning about the value of nature and the environment by bringing them closer to and connecting them with the local natural ecosystem. This fosters environmental awareness and provides them with learning tools, as well as respect for nature and humanity, through activities focused on the local flora and fauna.
- Volunteers will prepare with the help of the coordinators and campleaders different activities and workshops for the local children (we are looking for committed and proactive participants).
- Volunteers will participate in relaxion workshops, excursions, activities in the rural world and natural sciencies, manual and creative activities.
A space free of screens, warm, for learning and fun among all young people and focused on nature will be created. The participant will be instructed and will instruct to become familiar with the true protagonists of the camps, nature and coexistence. They will learn to know, respect and value the land and the inhabitants who populate it.
Knowledge of English is mandatory and Spanish or Valencian is valued.
During the summer, temperatures can be very high, and weather conditions may not be optimal due to this.

Altea La Vella is a district of Altea, a municipality in the province of Alicante (Spain). It has 583 inhabitants (INE 2012). This place of the Marina Baja is located between the sea and the mouintains and was the origin of the current Altea. Its white houses stand out. It is located 3.5km south north of the urban center of Altea, 3 km south of the Sierra de Bernia, 2 km west of the Mediterranean Sea and 9 km from Callosa de Ensarria.

The facilities of Finca Santa Barbara have the optimal requirements for carrying out this project, since they are located in a rural enclave, with toilets, showers, children's games area, a picnic area, camping areas for TENTS and a swimming pool. Summer sleeping bag is necessary.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader. Tents will be provided by the organization yet you can bring your own tent if you wish

During the first week of the camp the volunteers will do gardening work and prepare for the Open Gardens -event. During the second week the participants will renovate and paint old barn doors. The EYA project is primarily targeted to European volunteers. Volunteers traveling by land (bus or train) for most of their journey will be eligible for a travel grant up to 100euro.

The Cultural Organisation of Tipula pursues to provide the residences for artists from various fields and develop the activity based on the needs of the creative work. The organization upkeeps an old garden of self-grown and near-by produced food, surrounded by forests, old farmland and wheatfields. Their goal is to reach out to create international bonds, to enhance ecological values and sustainable, environmentally friendly way of life. The project initiated by Jaunatne smaidam / Youth for Smile, stemming from their 2010 Outdoor Education Center, is a commendable effort to foster environmental sustainability through an innovative sustainable farm-training center. This initiative aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination of information and knowledge about sustainability on both a local and global scale.
The project invites international volunteers to participate in a work camp that adopts a holistic approach to everyday life. Volunteers will engage in various tasks based on weather conditions and real needs, spanning fields such as agriculture, farming, restoration of natural areas, and traditional building preservation.
Key activities within the work camp include:
Permaculture Garden Development: Volunteers will work on creating and maintaining a permaculture garden, emphasizing sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
Animal Care: Volunteers will have the opportunity to care for animals on the farm, including sheep, goats, rabbits, etc. This involves building pasture paddocks and preparing food for the winter season.
Restoration of Natural Areas: The project involves restoring natural meadows by clearing them of bushes and purifying rivers from overgrowth, contributing to the preservation of local ecosystems.
Nature Path Creation: Volunteers will engage in creating a nature path in the forest by removing bushes and planting trees, enhancing the natural beauty of the area and providing educational opportunities.
In addition to these hands-on activities, the work camp will incorporate non-formal education sessions focused on eco-activism. Living conditions are very basic. Volunteers will be accommodated in a rural farm. Sleeping will be in tents provided by the organisers. We will provide mattresses as well. Do not forget some traditional or typical food from your home country for the international evening.

VOLUNTEER WORK: Volunteers will carry out environmental and sustainable conservation volunteering while learning hands on practice in carbon-negative food production and sustainability. Volunteers’ day to day task would include a range of skill based learning activities: Planting trees, growing vegetables, tree work. Volunteers will also be harvesting fruits and vegetables which are needed for the market, alongside the potential of some construction work to further enhance the volunteer’s skillset. Volunteers will be receiving an educational experience alongside the volunteering. Main volunteering tasks will include:

LEADERS: To ensure the smooth running of the project and the safety of young people, Concordia provides one paid and trained Leader for every 10 young people.
There are two farm shops within short walking distance if volunteers want to get any food/snacks – with a further two villages within an hour’s walk. The accommodation is on the South Downs walking trail, with many beautiful hikes available to the volunteers.
The Concordia Leader will help volunteers make plans for their free time – but volunteers will be expected to contribute ideas and suggestions for activities.
Volunteers will have the chance to visit the local area and go for hikes in the countryside. Visits to close-by sites will ensure that the group get the whole feeling of the area and learn about living in the British culture.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD: Volunteers will stay in large style canvas tents throughout the project, 'this is an off-grid, sustainable style living and project so do pre plan and bring warm clothes and items to sleep to in.
Rock farm will provide dry goods and fresh produce for two meals per day, plus one hot meal cooked together with the rock farm staff. All Volunteers are expected to get involved in the cooking process and washing up.
IMPORTANT: – Even in the British Summertime it can be VERY COLD AT NIGHT – please ensure you bring enough warm clothes. Wet weather clothing and footwear is also strongly recommended, as the site can get muddy and even the summer can bring a rainy day. Volunteers will have access to two outdoor showers – these are outdoor showers, so you will need to bring flip-flops/sliders and a swimming costume – as these are carbon negative showers there will only be a certain amount of hot water per day – one of the tasks for the volunteers is to create the hot water system! Rock farm will provide a small furnished cabin in the camping area for use as a meeting and relaxing area. There are a four further buildings/cover for eating and cooking – including a pizza oven!
The farm operates mostly off-grid, so all toilets are composting loos and there is a limited amount of solar-power for basic charging of phones. It is strongly recommended to bring a battery-pack for your phone, and to embrace having a break from your tech!

PROJECT: Rock Farm is a therapeutic growing project
open to everyone, restoring both the landscape and people through an innovative market garden model. We grow fruit and vegetables using regenerative, permaculture, and no dig principles, with absolutely zero pesticides or herbicides. We are at the cutting edge of embedding productive crops in a forest garden ecosystem, which sinks a large amount of carbon into the soil instead of emitting it and provides the backbone of our sustainability and therapeutic curricula. Retreats, camping, workshops and horticulture courses are also available at Rock Farm, especially for marginalised people.
Rock Farm is part of One Church Brighton, an organisation with several social projects in and around the Brighton area. Rock Farm grows produce on six acres of community land in West Sussex, offering access to horticultural therapy and community gardening for a range of volunteers and vulnerable groups.

You are a creative, innovative and environmentally conscious young person. This volunteer project seeks to revitalize the community through a transformation process that combines cooperation, creativity and respect for the environment. Your volunteering is a unique opportunity to get involved in meaningful activities that will have a positive impact on the San Fermín neighborhood. This is an international program integrated into the San Fermín Neighborhood Association project in which two German volunteers participate and will be a link between the volunteers in the camp and the San Fermín neighborhood, facilitating the link between all participants.
Why participate in our workcamp?
“Growing Together in San Fermín” is a volunteering project for young people between 18 and 30 years old, from different parts of Spain and abroad. During this period, the volunteer participants will be able to develop personal skills, lead initiatives and work as a team. The young people will be able to learn about new cultures, languages and traditions, as well as meet other people with similar interests. This project will allow you to promote ecological practices, develop your creative capacity and interact with the neighbours in the development of activities for the San Fermín neighbourhood festival.
Tasks specific to the workcam
Your volunteering will be divided into three phases:
• Restoration and cleaning of the Urban Garden Environment: cleaning and reconditioning of the garden. Environmental workshops, incorporating environmental awareness dynamics
• Participation in the San Fermin neighborhood festivities: Volunteers will participate in neighborhood festivities to gather ideas and inspiration for the community mural. They will take notes and conduct interviews with neighbors based on the neighborhood's history. They will schedule artistic activities. This phase of the camp becomes a time of reflection and inspiration for the community mural that will be created in the last phase of the camp.
• Community Mural Creation: Volunteers will design a mural that symbolizes the values, diversity, history and identity of San Fermín, gathered during the festivities. They will participate in collaborative design and painting workshops. Each participant will contribute their vision to the creation of the mural. The creation of this mural will not only be a work of art, but also a symbol of the collaboration and community spirit that characterizes San Fermín.

Alliksaare Farm s main direction is horse breeding. At the moment there are around 150 horses on the farm. The work can be diverse: it is to take care and maintain the pastures located by the sea - clearing around the pastures, building or removing fences, repairing fences, cleaning the stable. Another work is cleaning the coast nearby the farm from rubbish brought by storms. There can be some work for preparing food for horses for a winter time. However the major and the most important one is work with horses directly - taking care and training them. There are horses of any age but mostly young ones, so depending on your experience and willingness to learn more, it is possible to practice taking care of and training young horses. For example socializing and training foals, halter train yearlings and saddle and/or carriage train young horses. The work will be mainly outdoors. Working time is 6-7 hours a day. Work will be done under some supervision and guidance of the local host but mostly independently.

In spring and autumn you can enjoy birds watching as their migration route goes over island. This camp is perfect for people who enjoy being close to the nature and are interested in traditional way of rural living.

The accommodation conditions are very simple - in caravans, however beds are provided. Please bring your sleeping bag. Toilets and showers are available on site. There is a kitchen with all necessary equipment for cooking. Ingredients for food will be provided, but you need to cook by yourselves. We ask you to keep the living and common areas clean (washing dishes, cleaning the floors, etc).

Special requirementsYou have to be open-minded and ready to adapt to the simple conditions of the common life in Estonian countryside. Be ready for independent work staying without permanent supervision. Please consider that the work is mainly farm work which can be hard at some time. It is very important that you already have some substantial experience with horses and be able to interact and train them. Please send a motivation letter explaining it. It can be helpful if you have some technical skills: repair machines, building, use chainsaws, etc. Driving license is an advantage. Smoking and drinking alcohol are not permitted on the farm. Participation feeWe ask participants to contribute a single fee of 60 Euro towards the costs of general administration. Fee does not depend on the duration of your stay. Hiiumaa, according to the Nordic sagas, emerged from the Baltic Sea as a small islet more than 10 000 years ago. The island of Hiiumaa was first mentioned in historical documents as a deserted island called Dageida in 1228. The first inhabitants settled down at the end of the 13th century. Nowadays, Hiiumaa is the second biggest island of Estonia with an area of 965 sq. km and a population of around 9 000. It has many historical and nature sights, and there are kind people known for their hospitality and good sense of humor. The island is referred to as a remote area of Europe, and EstYES feels particularly proud developing international voluntary projects for over twenty years there. EstYES has been cooperating with eco-farms all over Estonia for solidarity and practical support to local people who work in the agricultural sector keeping traditional lifestyle and developing new eco-farming despite all difficulties. Alliksaare Farm on Hiiumaa Island is one of such projects. ProgramCamp program includes team projects, discussions at the round table, social and sport games, performances in the open air, actions for peace and nature protection, meetings with people, visits to museums and sightseeing as well as presentations of the countries that camp participants and volunteers represent, etc. Every day the camp will have a country presentation, a subject to learn or discuss and a related activity. Teenagers will stay in the camp activities zone from 10:00 to 17:00. There will be one day off in the camp and at least one day of travel outside Tallinn. Camp activities will take place in the premises of the language school that is situated in the very centre of the city. AccommodationThere are 2 options possible (subject to availability, which will become clear by the beginning of the camp):1) In the premises of The Language School In Down-Town located on the 4th and 5th floors of a business building in the city centre. In summer time, a part of the school is reserved for the camp participants accommodation that includes several separate dormitory bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a large shower area and two separate toilet cabins. Apart from bedrooms, the tea-room for rest will be also organized where teenagers might watch films, read and play board games enjoying soft sofas. Bed linen, pillows and blankets will be provided, so you do NOT need to bring a sleeping bag unless you want so. For the reasons of security, minimum one school staff member and one volunteer will be staying with camp participants overnights to maintain life, catering and general order on the site. To facilitate a smooth and safe environment at school during the off-hours, the entrance to the school must be kept closed at all times. The access to the school and accommodation areas will be managed by long-term volunteers or school staff. Please be aware that you must be inside by 22:00 the latest unless supervised outside by a school staff member. Participants will have breakfasts and dinners at school, lunches i together with other camp participants.2) In the host families of some of local participants who will join this camp. The apartments of the host families may be located in Tallinn or its suburbs. Participants will stay in a separate or shared room. You do NOT need a sleeping bag. Special requirementsWe will welcome any ideas to improve the program and your active participation in it. English is the camp language. The age of international camp participants is 14 i 16. International language camp is organized for teenagers by The Language School In Down-Town and the non-profit educational association Alternative Language Programs Satellite (ALP S) as part of their annual activities on multicultural issues for youth. The project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to the youth and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication by means of alternative English language practice which includes meetings, visits and direct contacts to young people from abroad. The project gets teens of 14 to 16 years old familiar with national traditions of the countries from all over the world, encourages them to develop their global thinking and individual initiative, tolerance and resistance to xenophobia and ethnic hatred. Camps give foreign participants a great chance to meet youngsters both from Estonia and other countries as well as to experience local life. This summer we offer you to participate in our project called KALEIDOSCOPE . We invite camp participants to discuss ideas of chaos and order, mess and harmony. Together, we will discover our own infinite potential and freedom to create new patterns of life, same way as we create patterns out of random single pieces of colourful glass twisting a kaleidoscope. We will learn how to find harmony in apparent disorder and use chaos as a tool for stress relief, how to turn imperfection into the source of true beauty and embrace uncertainty to make our life journey more successful, unique and vibrant. Camp participants will gain ideas and skills how to deal with a million of combinations of the world s reality.Meetings with local and/or international professionals in the field will take place. The community of Horb is counting on your help to build a Recycling Station for kids. In addition you will help to extend and improve other parts of the town’s public infrastructure. Your specific tasks will be:
- Construction of a recycling station in two municipal kindergartens
- Renovation of a tool shed (woodworking tasks)
- Renovation of the playground area in a kindergarten
- Renovation of the care centre building in a primary school
The work will be led by a professional instructor, so no previous experience is needed. You will work 30 hours per week, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday with a lunchbreak. You will also be divided in smaller groups throughout the days to effectively complete the different tasks.

You will feel its long history when exploring the town center. With its church overlooking the town, charming half-timbered houses, old towers, gates and narrow alleys, Horb offers many picturesque sights. On weekends make sure you explore other areas of the region! There are nearby hiking opportunities in the Black Forest. You can also easily reach cities like Tübingen (30 min) or Stuttgart (50 min) or visit Lake Constance (2 to 2.5h) by regional train. The local community is willing to provide plenty of recommendations and spend time with the group on your free time to help you discover their beautiful region.

You will be staying at Horb’s Culture Centre “Kloster” (Marktplatz 28, 72160 Horb) with camp beds provided for sleeping. Please make sure to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow if needed. A Kitchen is available at the Stone House (Hirschgasse 8, 72160 Horb), including a dining room. For shower facilities, you will need to walk approximately 4-5 minutes to the town’s indoor swimming pool.
The group of volunteers will be responsible for meal preparation, which includes grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning up afterward. Food will be purchased with the camp budget and tasks will be distributed during the first days to ensure everyone participates. Food will be purchased using the camp budget, and everyone will take turns cooking and cleaning. In order to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat and explore other more sustainable dishes.

Thai Hai Village - one of 32 ‘Best Tourism Villages 2022’ by UN Tourism.
Thai Hai Village is the result of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hai's dedication to preserve traditional cultural values of Tay ethnic group in Vietnam and contribute to building a just and humane society and sustainable development.
More than 30 original stilt houses, at least half a century old was rebuilt and restored in a natural area surrounded by hills and trees in Thai Hai Village. Not only the house's structure but also the ethos of Tay culture, the soul and vitality of the traditional values were preserved and passed on from generation to generation.
Day after day, the villagers cultivate and raise livestock, grow fruits and green tea to accommodate for their daily life, and to serve tourists who come to the village. Together, they form a community that “Eat Together, Share Together”, preserves and promotes their traditional cultural values. After a working day, they gather around the fireplace of the house and sing Then songs (Tay’s traditional singing) with “dan tinh” (traditional musical instrument), with flute and traditional “nang then” dance, together creating a very peaceful and cosy atmosphere.

Welcome to Rochefort-en-Yvelines, a charming medieval village just 30 minutes from Paris! For the past five years, it has hosted international volunteer workcamps in a preserved rural setting. Around the area, there are many natural and cultural sites to discover: the medieval castle of Dourdan, the Elsa Triolet-Aragon house, the Rambouillet forest, the Vaux de Cernay Abbey, and of course, the city of Paris!

Tu seras hébergé·e à la Salle des Fêtes de la commune, au sein d'une petite base de loisirs, située à une dizaine de minutes à pied du lieu de chantier. You will be accommodated at the village hall, within a small leisure area, located about ten minutes on foot from the worksite. You can enjoy an outdoor space with a barbecue and sports fields (volleyball, basketball, football). You can sleep either inside the hall or in individual tents.
Beyond the working hours, volunteers come together to organise daily life on the camp. Often divided into teams, they plan menus, help with the shopping, prepare meals, and ensure the cleanliness of shared spaces.
Fully involved in shaping your experience, you will also take part in decision-making regarding group activities and daily organization!

Volunteers will spend mornings in various activities with the members that Association supports. There will be artistic tasks (mosaics), educational (some workshops), sports... After the lunch, together with the users, volunteers will walk in city center visiting main museums (National one, Nikola Tesla museum, Ethnographic...).
Volunteers will also dedicate some time to keep the school clean.
The main aim is to be there to meet the people that don't have that many opportunities for that in regular life, so the good will is really something that will help immensely!

Camp is taking place in Belgrade, just few kilometers from historic center with the good connection of free public transport (20 minutes, by bus). As one of the most ancient cities in Europe, Serbian and once-Yugoslavian capital has a lot to offer. Streets full of friendly people, galleries, caffes, museums, parks, clubs, monuments, fortress that looks at two mighty European rivers (Sava and Danube)-it is all made so that people can appreciate the Life more (to say it poetically). Many activities will be part of the project, but volunteers will also have some free-time, that they can use as it suits them.
The only things that would be nice to bring with you are patience and smile, all the rest is of secondary importance!
Alloggio
Volunteers will be accommodated in the school dormitory for the pupils with difficulties (disabilities) in rooms with 2 or 3 beds and bathroom. Since it is a time of holidays, rooms will be empty, but some kids will be there to join the activities.
Provided food will be prepared by volunteers in the dormitory's kitchen.
Requisiti e materiali
There are no specific requirements, but it will make your life easier if you bring sunscreen, adequate clothes and mosquito repellent as it gets hot and humid during the summer in Serbia.

Association for help to the persons that need additional support (persons with some kind of disability) "Voždovac" is non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization that for goal has social inclusion of their users. They work with kids, youth and adult people that have autism, Dawn's syndrome, cerebral paralysis, etc. The intention is to be there to organize their free time, in order to make them closer to the community.
Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. Voluntary Service of Serbia is a volunteer exchange service center founded in 1990 as one of the sectors of YRS.

The volunteers will begin the workcamp by familiarizing themselves with the space and preparing for the international workcamp during the first week. From July 7 to 11, 2025, they will then run a day camp for up to 20 rural children, focusing on environmental topics, as Kostelní Lhota is a very green village promoting environmental awareness. In case of rain, activities will move indoors to the community center's large hall. The work is not physically demanding but requires mental effort due to the active 5-day program for the children.

Location: The workcamp will take place at the Community Center in Kostelní Lhota, 100 metres away from the accommodation. The village is located in the Nymburk district, 10km from the spa town of Poděbrady, in the Central Bohemian region. Surrounded by larger towns like Poděbrady, Sadská, Český Brod, and Pečky, the area is in the fertile Polabí Lowlands. The village has a grocery store, football field, tennis courts, kindergarten, playground, cemetery, waste collection center, and church. The Community Center and school are both newly renovated. ATM and pharmacy are 2.5km away , while a shop is within walking distance.
Leisure time: Football or volleyball tournaments will be organized with the local community at the football field, along with visits to the nearby spa in Poděbrady and tours of the towns of Pečky and Sadská. In the community center, volunteers will have access to table tennis, foosball, and other sports activities.
Study part: The educational activities for the volunteers will include a workshop with the local mayor about community activities in Kostelní Lhota, as well as visits to nearby villages such as Sadská, Poděbrady (spa town), and Nymburk. Bicycles will be provided for easy transportation during these excursions. These activities aim to enhance the volunteers’ understanding of local community dynamics and regional culture, while also allowing them to explore the surrounding area.
Alloggio
Volunteers will be accommodated at Kostelní Lhota Primary School in two renovated rooms (separate for girls and boys) in the gymnasium. Hygiene facilities include 1 shower and 2 toilets for adults. Volunteers should bring a sleeping mat, sleeping bag, and pillow. WiFi and a microwave are available, but no washing machine. Meals will be provided with hot lunches delivered from a local company. Volunteers will prepare breakfast and dinner themselves in an improvised kitchenette, with options for various dietary preferences. Special diets can be accommodated.

This project is open to people with hearing impairment.
The extra fee covers costs of the project not covered by public funding (for example support for campleaders, administrative costs of iNEX-SDA). The fee is paid in advance electronically and non-refundable unless proof of severe obstacle (for example illness) is provided.

The workcamp's goal is to strengthen the local community by enhancing the language skills of rural children and introducing them to European cultures. Volunteers will help children improve their English and promote environmental values, resulting in an active, English-speaking group that will continue to foster cultural connections in the region. At this workcamp, you will actively contribute to the achievement of the United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education.
