I campi di volontariato si svolgono nella spiaggia dell’Isola dei Conigli, zona A di Riserva Naturale e sito di deposizione della tartaruga marina Caretta caretta. I campi hanno una duplice finalità: contribuire alla tutela della spiaggia, intensamente frequentata a fini balneari, in modo da garantire le condizioni ambientali idonee all’ovodeposizione di Caretta caretta, controllando l’impatto antropico sul sito; sorvegliare e proteggere i nidi di Caretta caretta, dalla deposizione alla schiusa. Questi campi sono una grande occasione per quanti, appassionati della natura, vogliono prendersene cura svolgendo attività utili ed entusiasmanti, in uno dei luoghi più belli di Lampedusa e del Mediterraneo, meritevole di essere salvaguardato per la sua bellezza e per la sua grande importanza naturalistica.

Il campo prevede lo svolgimento di turni giornalieri di 6 ore circa e, all’occorrenza, turni notturni di 8–10 ore. I turni giornalieri sono finalizzati al controllo della balneazione, mediante sorveglianza ed attività di informazione e sensibilizzazione dei bagnanti, in modo da far rispettare i regolamenti vigenti nella riserva. Dalle 8 alle 20.00 i volontari si alterneranno per coprire due postazioni fisse: una all'ingresso della Riserva e una sulla spiaggia. All'ingresso, i volontari forniranno informazioni ai visitatori e forniranno supporto agli operatori nelle attività di controllo degli accessi alla spiaggia. In spiaggia, i volontari sorveglieranno gli eventuali nidi deposti, saranno punto di riferimento per quanti vogliono conoscere la biologia riproduttiva di Caretta caretta e svolgeranno attività di sensibilizzazione nei confronti dei turisti (inviteranno al rispetto delle norme comportamentali da osservare, effettueranno la pulizia dell’arenile, ecc.). I volontari, inoltre, collaboreranno nelle attività di rilevamento dei dati sulla fruizione e saranno di sostegno agli operatori della riserva per il rilevamento dei dati sui nidi di tartaruga e sui piccoli. I turni notturni si svolgeranno presso la struttura ubicata all'ingresso della riserva e sono finalizzati ad impedire l’accesso in spiaggia di eventuali visitatori durante la notte, che potrebbero pregiudicare gli eventi di nidificazione della tartaruga. Durante le schiuse dei nidi i turni notturni si svolgeranno in spiaggia. I volontari parteciperanno anche alle attività di salvaguardia e sorveglianza (diurna e notturna) di eventuali nidi deposti in altre spiagge dell’isola che rientrano nelle competenze dell'Ente Gestore della Riserva. I volontari, a turno, si occuperanno anche della preparazione dei pasti e della pulizia dell’alloggio.

Molto più vicina all’Africa che alla Sicilia, Lampedusa appartiene all’Arcipelago delle Pelagie. Nel 1996 la Regione Siciliana ha istituito la Riserva Naturale “Isola di Lampedusa”, gestita da Legambiente Sicilia. L’area protetta si estende per circa 360 ettari lungo un’ampia fascia incontaminata della costa meridionale dell’isola ed è finalizzata alla conservazione delle espressioni più significative della fauna e della flora presenti sul territorio. La spiaggia dei Conigli è stata per anni oggetto di ogni forma di abuso e degrado, ma grazie agli interventi di recupero ambientale, controllo e sensibilizzazione dell’Ente Gestore oggi è un modello di gestione e promozione di un turismo sostenibile, che ha saputo coniugare conservazione della natura con la fruizione del territorio.

Attività formative
All’inizio di ogni campo i volontari parteciperanno ad un incontro formativo presso la sede della Riserva (tenuto dal personale della Riserva), durante il quale verranno fornite le principali informazioni sull’area protetta (storia, caratteristiche, regolamento, ecc.), sulla biologia della tartaruga marina e sulle attività che si svolgeranno durante il campo.

I volontari saranno ospitati in un appartamento ubicato in centro.
Requisiti e materiali
Il campo è particolarmente impegnativo, poiché prevede una turnazione continua per garantire il controllo del sito h24. Buona attitudine a camminare; buone condizioni fisiche, capacità di svolgere le attività anche con particolari condizioni climatiche (essere in grado di trascorrere diverse ore sotto il sole, ma anche in presenza di vento, umidità, pioggia, zanzare…).

Il Circolo Legambiente Esther Ada nasce a Lampedusa nel 2011 ed è principalmente coinvolto nell'organizzazione delle campagne nazionali di Legambiente e nella realizzazione di progetti relativi a problematiche di carattere ambientale e sociale. In collaborazione con la Riserva Naturale “Isola di Lampedusa” propone attività di educazione ambientale agli studenti delle scuole dell’isola e si occupa dell’organizzazione dei campi di volontariato per la tutela della Spiaggia dei Conigli, sito di deposizione della tartaruga marina Caretta caretta.

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming "Ohenro (pilgrims)" who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago. The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting "Kakurin-ji temple"; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage locals are trying to find new ways for "omotenashi (hospitality)". Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land. Local host Oi have finally decided that they can freely renovate and modify the vacant houses. Moreover, the site is in a good location, with mountains, a river and fields. It is up to the volunteers from now on to decide how to develop the project. The aim is for the volunteer members to clean up the abandoned houses and village landscape and transform it into a village that people will want to visit to take photos, as it used to be a village where people came and went since ancient times.

ProgramThere are diverse activities in the camp program: canoeing, water scootering, running ATV, paintball in the forest, sport games - football, rugby, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, archery, frisbee, disc-golf, trampolines, different competitions, forest cross, sport orientation in the forest on and on sea (navigation), fishing, Viking boats, bicycle trips to explore the area, visit to the horse farm with horse riding, excursions historical places of interest in the area, active games and adventure trail in Roosta Adventure Park, picnics on a seaside, building sand and stones castles on the beach, Estonian sauna party, etc. Bikes are available for the whole camp duration free of charge. WorkThere will be also some voluntary work such as painting of community buildings, making wooden toys and games for local orphanage, repairing benches and tables, cleaning local beach and old local park from garbage, planting trees, little renovation works in the local school, clearing pavement, helping seniors living in the community with some household duties, preparing fire woods for heating, berries and herbs picking to give the crop to the orphanage and seniors home, duty in a kitchen and around the camp once in a shift, etc. The work will be organised in cooperation with local forestry department, municipality of Nova and local school. Please note that the work described above is planned for the whole summer and it may change from one shift to another depending on local needs, the season and weather conditions.

AccommodationIn wooden huts set by the local school nearby the seaside (500 m away). Please bring your sleeping bag and mat. There are water machines with cold water in the school complex. Catering takes place in the schools mess hall or into the lager tent outside near the mess. Meals are cooked by professional cooks. Nevertheless, participants will be provided with board, lodging, local transportation and all equipment necessary to realize camp program. Besides, program involves a lot of extra costs for excursions, trips out, visits, sport activities, equipment, materials and general administration and leadership. Since neither EstYES nor its local camp partner, does not receive financial support for this camp from municipality or private sources, to realize this camp we have to charge participation fee of 500 Euro, which covers all camp and program costs including transfer from Tallinn to and from the camp, and which has to be paid by bank transfer before the camp or by participants upon arrival to the camp. This camp is organized for teenagers by youth sport club Lukas-Basket which has been running national youth camps for 25 years and International ones for the past 12 years. International teenage camps will be hosted on seaside in the West of Estonia in Laanemaa County in the municipality of Nova. Beautiful nature, numerous historical places, 200 years long tradition of health resort, unique cultural events are the treasures of the County. Nova with warm sea, white sand, mushroom and berry crops, picturesque lakes, cobble stone road and many places of interest is ideal place for leisure. The aim of Nova camp is to give young people possibility to have active, healthy and meaningful summer vacations with different sport adventures, to enjoy unspoiled nature and to learn to live in harmony with it, also to explore and realize their own capacities and limits. The program will include water activities, sport and ball games, eco-hikes, bicycle trips to places of interest, horse riding, fishing, rowing, acquaintance with local culture and many other exciting things. Mens sana in corpore sano (Healthy Spirit in Healthy Body) i this is the message of the camp Besides all this, camp gives possibility for intensive contacts between local youth and their peers from abroad, showing youngsters the diversity of world cultures, broadening their horizons and encouraging active communication through games and creative activities. Finally, there will be some voluntary work for nature protection and to support local community. The area of the camp is about 3 hectares and it can host over 60 youngsters on one shift. Volunteers will conduct environmental and cultural studies in DEMRE, one of the current parts of the ancient Lycian Civilization. Maritime and sea trade have become a culture of thousands of years in this region since the Lycian and Phoenician civilizations, and for this reason a cabotage festival is held every year. Volunteers will take part in the preparation and organization of the festival.
They will also be involved in the cleaning and arrangement of the famous Lycian Way. The ancient Lycian Way is under threat due to highway construction in the region. The work to be done by the volunteers will raise awareness. The region is also the region of the Caretta sea turtles. There are also auxiliary works related to turtles.
There are many ancient structures and natural beauties in Demre that volunteers can visit and contribute to.

Volunteers will stay in a dormitory in the municipality's guesthouse. Due to the warm Mediterranean climate, the rooms have air conditioning. There is a bathroom, toilet, kitchen and common area. Volunteers will prepare their own breakfast, and lunch and dinner will be provided by the municipality.

The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.

In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

The extra fee has be paid by card ( in the exceptional cases we can accept bank transfer as well) 3 weeks before the camp as a confirmation of participation.
If we don't recieve the fee and the flight/bus tickets of the volunteer, we will consider that she/he will not attending to project and we will give opportunity to other volunteers that are on the waiting list.

Workcamp participants are invited to work in different fields: manual, artistically, pedagogical. During the youth camps, you will communicate with kids from diverse backgrounds and join their activities. You will support the camp in logistic areas and support the construction and decoration of an artistic project. It would be helpful to prepare in advance and offer your own workshop — whether artistic, musical, or athletic—and bring fresh and inspiring ideas. In addition, all volunteers will have the chance to introduce their countries. You should collect ideas at home and bring necessary materials for a creative presentation, including pictures, food, games, or other typical things from your countries. Further details will be provided after the placement in the workcamp. Besides the announced activities, the volunteers will also need to take responsibility by leading groups of young campers in daily works like catering and cleaning.
Study part: The study part of this workcamp will focus mostly on the question about life between past and future, tradition and modernity, small-town life and global correlations. Working at “Himmelsfels“ always encourages encounters between people from different cultures and diverse background.

Spangenberg is a small town in the valleys south of Kassel. The venue itself has a high recreational value: Joint activities like evening campfires with young people from several continents, a stroll through the centre with its old half-timbered houses and you can explore local sites of interest and visit Kassel, which is famous for the international art festival “Documenta”.

Spangenberg is a small German village that lies in the Schwalm-Eder district about 35 km southeast of Kassel. Accommodation will be basic and simple. Volunteers will sleep in caravans, sharing rooms with others.

A letter of motivation is required! Basic knowledge of the German language is helpful to communicate with the kids. Volunteers with interest in performing arts are very welcome and it would be great if you are interested in a Christian spirituality. After registration, we will require a self-declaration regarding terms of legal protection for children and vulnerable persons. Please bring a sleeping bag. As some summer nights can get cold in Germany, please bring some warm clothes and raingear!

The „Himmelsfels“ (Heavens rock) in Spangenberg is the territory that occupies 8 hectares. In Himmelsfels there are so-called embassies, i.e. caravans that have been modified artistically to be tiny houses for German and international guests of the Himmelsfels. Every year Himmelsfels hosts events dedicated to art, culture, Christian gospel music and youth Encounter. This summer season, there will be three international youth camps comprising about 70 – 150 young people from various countries.The volunteers will help to enrich the current youth camps by becoming part of our international staff, by supporting the activities for the youth and the infrastructure of the camps. The program will take place on the “Himmelsfels” itself.
The “Himmelsfels” foundation is a Christian organization, which aims to develop spaces for intercultural and ecumenical exploration, as well as to motivate people for a life characterized by equality and common values. Dal 2017 Legambiente e Diversamente Marinai sono impegnati nella campagna “Vele Spiegate”. In questo contesto Diversamente Marinai propone campi di volontariato in barca a vela di una settimana nell'Arcipelago Toscano. Il progetto prevede la pulizia delle spiagge poco accessibili via terra, il monitoraggio dei rifiuti, il monitoraggio e il controllo delle tracce delle tartarughe marine Caretta Caretta, inoltre andremo alla scoperta dei sentieri che incontreremo nelle insenature dove ci fermeremo e mapperemo quelli che non sono presenti sulle carte. Il progetto mira alla conoscenza del mare attraverso la navigazione e alla creazione di team affiatati e motivati. Per questo i partecipanti impareranno la marineria antica e a farsi equipaggio a bordo di un ketch a vela del 1922. Inoltre, saranno formati sulle principali linee guida in termini di sostenibilità ambientale della fruizione del mare. Non ci può essere vera salvaguardia dell’ambiente senza saper apprezzare il paesaggio naturale. Il campo di lavoro vuole realizzare interventi concreti per migliorare la qualità ambientale mostrando all'equipaggio come vivere sul mare e con il mare sia un’esperienza indimenticabile. Le attività del campo sono arricchite dalla pratica quotidiana della riduzione degli sprechi che la vita di bordo comporta e dalla possibilità di spostarsi utilizzando prevalentemente il vento. Vele Spiegate è un progetto inserito nella Carta Europea del Turismo Sostenibile del Parco Nazionale Arcipelago Toscano per il periodo 2021-2025. Didattica della vela e la vita di bordo: l’attività prevede un corso di primo livello di navigazione a vela e conduzione di un’imbarcazione storica, attraverso la sperimentazione diretta delle nozioni acquisite.
Pulizia e monitoraggio delle spiagge accessibili solo dal mare: il progetto prevede la pulizia di alcune spiagge difficilmente accessibili via terra, attraverso la rimozione dei rifiuti. In tale occasione saranno anche monitorati i rifiuti attraverso la tecnica del Beach litter riportando dati e riflessioni su appositi moduli, fornendo dati che saranno utilizzati per scopi scientifici.
Ricerca e monitoraggio delle tracce della tartaruga Caretta caretta: i partecipanti impareranno a riconoscere le tracce della tartaruga e saranno impegnati anche nella ricerca delle stesse e nella sensibilizzazione di cittadini e turisti.
Mappatura sentieri: verrà monitorato lo stato dei sentieri che collegano le principali vie sentieristiche dell’isola alle spiagge e insenature, raggiungibili prevalentemente a piedi, e presso le quali faremo sosta con la nostra imbarcazione; e eventuale pulizia o segnalazione delle criticità riscontrate

L'Arcipelago toscano è formato da un gruppo di sette isole maggiori, di cui la più grande è l'isola d'Elba, più alcune minori, secche e scogli situati tra la terraferma toscana e la Corsica. L'arcipelago è bagnato da quattro mari: il mar Ligure a nord dell'isola d'Elba, il canale di Piombino a est, il mar Tirreno a sud e il canale di Corsica a ovest delle coste elbane. Il canale di Corsica e il canale di Piombino possono essere considerati come canali naturali di collegamento tra il mar Ligure e il mar Tirreno, rispettivamente a ovest e ad est dell'isola d'Elba.

Acquisizione delle conoscenze veliche di base per la conduzione di un’imbarcazione in sicurezza. Acquisizione delle conoscenze di base di marineria storica. Incremento della conoscenza di alcuni ambienti naturali dell’Arcipelago Toscano e della sua biodiversità. Apprendimento relativo alle emergenze ecologiche dell’ecosistema marino e costiero e correlazione con le abitudini di consumo e trattamento dei rifiuti. Attività formative di base volte al riconoscimento delle tracce della tartaruga marina (Caretta Caretta).
Alloggio
I partecipanti alloggeranno su un ketch a vela in legno del 1922 di 16,5 metri. I pasti verranno preparati in barca e si seguirà un'alimentazione prevalentemente vegetariana.

Spirito di adattamento e amore per il mare. Per un comfort ideale, non essere alti più di 1,85 mt.

Swimtrekking significa letteralmente trekking a nuoto: è un modo originale per vivere e sentire l’ambiente, un viaggio in mare con maschera, boccaglio, pinne, muta, portando con sé tutto il necessario per l’escursione in un piccolo scafo in vetroresina da trainare: il barkino. I campi Swimtrekking si pongono l’obiettivo di proporre un’attività in mare che, attraverso l’escursionismo e l’esplorazione, consenta ai partecipanti di maturare un’esperienza autentica di confronto sulle tematiche della tutela e della salvaguardia dell’ambiente marino, anche e soprattutto attraverso la conoscenza della flora e della fauna.
Attraverso la guida di istruttori qualificati, i volontari esploreranno e monitoreranno i fondali marini (dalla superfice del mare) e i tratti costieri contribuendo alla raccolta dati su noci di mare, meduse, delfini e tartarughe attraverso l’applicazione AVVISTAPP (sviluppata e gestita dall’OGS di Trieste). Inoltre, verranno recuperati i rifiuti in mare e lungo la costa che saranno poi utilizzati per la realizzazione di opere artistiche che saranno fotografate, smaltite e, ove possibile, differenziate. Si ricorda che tutti gli istruttori della ASD Swimtrekking hanno una formazione specifica per guidare e seguire le varie fasi di un campo Swimtrekking abbracciando le compe-tenze tecniche della disciplina, conoscenze di biologia marina e di recupero e riciclaggio artistico dei rifiuti.
Lavoro
Le volontarie e i volontari recupereranno i rifiuti dal mare durante le nuotate lungo costa e li trasporteranno a riva.
Al termine delle attività in acqua si progetteranno e realizzeranno delle opere artistiche, utilizzando solo i materiali recuperati dal mare e dalle coste. I rifiuti saranno assemblati dando sfogo alla fantasia per produrre nuove forme che raccontano l’esperienza vissuta in mare. Il lavoro artistico verrà poi documentato attraverso foto e video.
Al termine dell’attività, le opere verranno smaltite seguendo le normative locali di raccolta differenziata. I volontari svolgeranno inoltre le attività di Marine and Beach Litter indagine sulla quantità e tipologia di rifiuti raccolti in mare e sulle spiagge raggiunte durante le escursioni, al fine di contribuire alla Direttiva Europea sulla Marine Strategy.
A fine campo sarà realizzato un video con tutti i contenuti delle attività svolte e consegnato ai partecipanti (munirsi di penna USB).
Altro aspetto fondamentale del campo sarà il censimento di specie marine e delle meduse. L’OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale proseguirà la collaborazione con Swimtrekking in un progetto Citizen Science estendendo per il 2025 la raccolta di informazioni su ogni avvistamento di meduse, tartarughe di mare, noci di mare e delfini.

Punta Ala è una località costiera situata in Toscana, nel comune di Castiglione della Pescaia, nella provincia di Grosseto. È caratterizzata da un territorio collinare che si affaccia su una spiaggia sabbiosa e ben curata. La località è circondata da una vegetazione tipicamente mediterranea, con pinete e macchia mediterranea che conferiscono un'atmosfera naturale e incontaminata. La zona è anche vicina a importanti aree protette come il Parco Naturale della Maremma, che offre un habitat ricco di biodiversità. Il paesaggio di Punta Ala è davvero suggestivo. Le acque cristalline del mare sono perfette per attività come nuoto, snorkeling e vela. La spiaggia è ben attrezzata e offre numerosi servizi per i turisti. L'area circostante è ideale per escursioni a piedi o in bicicletta, grazie ai sentieri che si snodano tra le colline e le pinete. Inoltre, la fauna locale include diverse specie di uccelli e animali marini, rendendola un luogo affascinante per gli amanti della natura. Punta Ala ha una storia ricca e affascinante. Originariamente, l'area era abitata dagli Etruschi, seguiti dai Romani, che sfruttarono la posizione strategica del territorio. Nel corso dei secoli, Punta Ala ha visto l'insediamento di diverse popolazioni e la costruzione di fortificazioni per difendersi dalle invasioni piratesche nel Medioevo. Un importante punto di riferimento storico è il Castello di Punta Ala, costruito nel XVI secolo per proteggere la costa.
Nel XIX secolo, Punta Ala divenne una meta ambita per nobili e aristocratici, contribuendo alla sua fama come località turistica esclusiva. Oggi, Punta Ala è conosciuta non solo per le sue bellezze naturali ma anche per le sue strutture turistiche di alta qualità.
Attività formative
I volontari, adeguatamente informati in merito a flora e fauna marina avranno il compito di censire, catalogare e studiare i comportamenti delle meduse, noci di mare, tartarughe e delfini incontrate durante le attività di esplorazione lungo costa. I volontari seguiranno inoltre le direttive tema dei progetti Marine and Beach Litter per la conservazione dell'ambiente naturalistico

Il Punta Ala Camp & Resort si estende all’interno di una pineta mediterranea. Il campeggio è una struttura turistica all’aria aperta che adesso occupa ben ventisette ettari ed è un vero e proprio “parco vacanze” dalle polivalenti opportunità di servizi e ospitalità particolarmente attenta e sensibile al tema dell’eco-turismo e alla tematica ambientale. Il Campeggio Punta Ala opera per ricreare un “natural lifestyle”, approccio riconosciuto e premiato da organizzazioni ambientali nazionali e internazionali.
I volontari sistemeranno le tende, fornite dalla ASD Swimtrekking, in un’area a loro riservata attrezzata con cucina da campo, le docce ed i servizi igienici in condivisione con gli altri campeggiatori.
I volontari dovranno munirsi di sacco a pelo, materassi-no ed eventualmente cuscino.
Per quanto riguarda i pasti, la prima colazione e la cena saranno organizzate sempre nell’area riservata del campeggio (vicino alle tende). I responsabili del campo e i/le partecipanti organizzeranno i pasti su base self-catering. Per il pranzo sarà preparato un pasto al sacco che verrà riposto nei barkini e trasportato durante l’attività in mare fino alla località prevista per la pausa pranzo.
Requisiti e materiali
L’attività dello Swimtrekking migliora la propria tecnica individuale nel nuoto, sviluppa l’autocontrollo e la conoscenza di sé e di una serie di tecniche quali l’apnea e il salvamento, studia la flora e la fauna, il moto ondoso, i venti e le correnti, rafforza e accresce le dinamiche del gruppo.
Sarà quindi fondamentale che tutti i volontari sappiano nuotare i due stili principali: lo stile libero e lo stile dorso. Specifichiamo inoltre che non sono assolutamente importanti i tempi di percorrenza e la tecnica indi-viduale ma una certa abitudine all’attività fisica. Si richiede quindi una certa consuetudine con l’attività spor-tiva di qualsiasi genere sia pur blanda. Le persone molto sedentarie non sono adatte a questo tipo di espe-rienza. Chiunque può quindi affrontare in maniera positiva l’esperienza di un campo Swimtrekking se interessato a sperimentare le conoscenze da noi proposte.

Location: The workcamp takes place in Hroznetin, a small town in western Bohemia with about 2,000 inhabitants. There is a small grocery store, a school, a post office and a pharmacy nearby Ostrov. There is good phone reception. The work activities will take place in the town and near the recreational area of Velký Rybník. The closest cities are Ostrov (5 km) and Karlovy Vary (12 km) where you can find doctors, pharmacies and ATMS. The region is popular among tourists for its beautiful countryside near the Ore Mountains.
Leisure time: There is a possibility to arrange a trip to Karlovy Vary - a city famous not only for its world-famous spa but also for the Film Festival that will take place at that time. You can visit the town of Ostrov and its sights - the castle garden, also known as the 8th wonder of the world, the local monument zone in the city centre, the Prince's Palace, Ostrov Castle and other beautiful churches and monasteries. Hroznětín organizes many events for local residents and works on activating the local community in which volunteers will have the opportunity to participate if they wish.
Study part: You will learn about the history and future development vision of the town of Hroznětín, as well as explore Czech culture and the beautiful nature surrounding the area. Volunteers will discuss the connection to the place where they live, the importance of volunteering for public spaces, and how to motivate locals to overcome their hesitation and engage in volunteering.

The accommodation is located at Penzion Mlýnský dům, Mlýnská 5, Hroznětín. Volunteers will be accommodated in apartment rooms for 2-3 people, each with a kitchenette and bathroom. The hygiene facilities include fully equipped bathrooms with showers, bathtubs are also available. Volunteers don't need to bring anything as everything is provided. For meals, volunteers will prepare their own breakfast and dinner, with a financial contribution provided by the partner organization. Lunches will be provided, including vegetarian options, volunteers will be able choose from the available menu. There is a local shop where volunteers could buy food, there is also other shops in the nearby town of Ostrov.

The LAG focuses on the support and development of the region through organizing and funding educational and cultural projects, connecting various stakeholders, preparing tourist brochures or co-organizing volunteer activities. The main aim of the workcamp is to introduce the volunteers to the cultural heritage (UNESCO) and natural beauty of the Krusne Hory and to present the local history and the importance of the work concerning the significance of the place. The volunteers will act as assistant sport instructors in the English speaking children camp, where the kids can try a variety of sports. The volunteers will be working with a group of children who speak English as their mother tongue or want to learn English. Pitkis-Sport is the largest children s sport camp in Finland, with hundreds of participants and a large number of national volunteers. This year the theme of the camp will be nature. You will work on the "Hochtalsteig" (High Valley Trail), a 16km award-winning circular hiking trail through the heights of the Black Forest with beautiful views. There is the Neumannshütte, a hiking/shelter hut, situated at a wonderful vantage point above our valley and directly on the much-travelled ‘Hochtalsteig’ premium hiking trail. This hut needs to be renovated. On top of that, you will help to build the panoramic swing. Specific tasks include:
• Replacing the wood panelling: Remove old wood panelling, cut new wood to size and seal it with protective coating.
• Upgrading the barbecue area: Create new seating made of wood or natural stone.
• Building the panoramic swing: Prepare the site, manufacture, assemble and secure the wooden swing and create a visual design as an ‘insta-spot’ with panoramic orientation.
You will work under the professional guidance of staff from the municipal service department. But please be aware that autumn can be cold and windy in the mountains – so please be prepared for long outdoor activities.

Summer school aimed at promoting youth learning about the value of nature and the environment by bringing them closer to and connecting them with the local natural ecosystem. This fosters environmental awareness and provides them with learning tools, as well as respect for nature and humanity, through activities focused on the local flora and fauna.
- Volunteers will prepare with the help of the coordinators and campleaders different activities and workshops for the local children (we are looking for committed and proactive participants).
- Volunteers will participate in relaxion workshops, excursions, activities in the rural world and natural sciencies, manual and creative activities.
A space free of screens, warm, for learning and fun among all young people and focused on nature will be created. The participant will be instructed and will instruct to become familiar with the true protagonists of the camps, nature and coexistence. They will learn to know, respect and value the land and the inhabitants who populate it.
Knowledge of English is mandatory and Spanish or Valencian is valued.
During the summer, temperatures can be very high, and weather conditions may not be optimal due to this.

Altea La Vella is a district of Altea, a municipality in the province of Alicante (Spain). It has 583 inhabitants (INE 2012). This place of the Marina Baja is located between the sea and the mouintains and was the origin of the current Altea. Its white houses stand out. It is located 3.5km south north of the urban center of Altea, 3 km south of the Sierra de Bernia, 2 km west of the Mediterranean Sea and 9 km from Callosa de Ensarria.

The facilities of Finca Santa Barbara have the optimal requirements for carrying out this project, since they are located in a rural enclave, with toilets, showers, children's games area, a picnic area, camping areas for TENTS and a swimming pool. Summer sleeping bag is necessary.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader. Tents will be provided by the organization yet you can bring your own tent if you wish

The Cultural Organisation of Tipula pursues to provide the residences for artists from various fields and develop the activity based on the needs of the creative work. They also organize concerts, camps and events in Tipula and further productions of publications and exhibitions. The organization upkeeps an old garden of self-grown and near-by produced food, surrounded by forests, old farmland and wheatfields. Their goal is to reach out to create international bonds, to enhance ecological values and sustainable, environmentally friendly way of life. This camp is a part of the project European Youth in Action: policymakers for climate justice, supported by the CERV programme, improving competences in concrete actions for climate justice. The horizontal theme of this camp is sustainability, greenwashing and circular economy.

The project initiated by Jaunatne smaidam / Youth for Smile, stemming from their 2010 Outdoor Education Center, is a commendable effort to foster environmental sustainability through an innovative sustainable farm-training center. This initiative aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination of information and knowledge about sustainability on both a local and global scale.
The project invites international volunteers to participate in a work camp that adopts a holistic approach to everyday life. Volunteers will engage in various tasks based on weather conditions and real needs, spanning fields such as agriculture, farming, restoration of natural areas, and traditional building preservation.
Key activities within the work camp include:
Permaculture Garden Development: Volunteers will work on creating and maintaining a permaculture garden, emphasizing sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
Animal Care: Volunteers will have the opportunity to care for animals on the farm, including sheep, goats, rabbits, etc. This involves building pasture paddocks and preparing food for the winter season.
Restoration of Natural Areas: The project involves restoring natural meadows by clearing them of bushes and purifying rivers from overgrowth, contributing to the preservation of local ecosystems.
Nature Path Creation: Volunteers will engage in creating a nature path in the forest by removing bushes and planting trees, enhancing the natural beauty of the area and providing educational opportunities.

During a work camp we will have possibilities to visit different cultural and historical places. Volunteers will have possibilities to organise intercultural events, etc.

Living conditions are very basic. Volunteers will be accommodated in a rural farm. Sleeping will be in tents provided by the organisers. We will provide mattresses as well. Toilets and washing facilities will be provided. Cooking will be done by volunteers themselves in the outdoor kitchen. Volunteers should bring their sleeping bags. Do not forget some traditional or typical food from your home country for the international evening.

VOLUNTEER WORK: Volunteers will carry out environmental and sustainable conservation volunteering while learning hands on practice in carbon-negative food production and sustainability. Volunteers’ day to day task would include a range of skill based learning activities: Planting trees, growing vegetables, tree work. Volunteers will also be harvesting fruits and vegetables which are needed for the market, alongside the potential of some construction work to further enhance the volunteer’s skillset. Volunteers will be receiving an educational experience alongside the volunteering. Main volunteering tasks will include:

LEADERS: To ensure the smooth running of the project and the safety of young people, Concordia provides one paid and trained Leader for every 10 young people.
There are two farm shops within short walking distance if volunteers want to get any food/snacks – with a further two villages within an hour’s walk. The accommodation is on the South Downs walking trail, with many beautiful hikes available to the volunteers.
The Concordia Leader will help volunteers make plans for their free time – but volunteers will be expected to contribute ideas and suggestions for activities.
Volunteers will have the chance to visit the local area and go for hikes in the countryside. Visits to close-by sites will ensure that the group get the whole feeling of the area and learn about living in the British culture.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD: Volunteers will stay in large style canvas tents throughout the project, 'this is an off-grid, sustainable style living and project so do pre plan and bring warm clothes and items to sleep to in.
Rock farm will provide dry goods and fresh produce for two meals per day, plus one hot meal cooked together with the rock farm staff. All Volunteers are expected to get involved in the cooking process and washing up.
IMPORTANT: – Even in the British Summertime it can be VERY COLD AT NIGHT – please ensure you bring enough warm clothes. Wet weather clothing and footwear is also strongly recommended, as the site can get muddy and even the summer can bring a rainy day. Volunteers will have access to two outdoor showers – these are outdoor showers, so you will need to bring flip-flops/sliders and a swimming costume – as these are carbon negative showers there will only be a certain amount of hot water per day – one of the tasks for the volunteers is to create the hot water system! Rock farm will provide a small furnished cabin in the camping area for use as a meeting and relaxing area. There are a four further buildings/cover for eating and cooking – including a pizza oven!
The farm operates mostly off-grid, so all toilets are composting loos and there is a limited amount of solar-power for basic charging of phones. It is strongly recommended to bring a battery-pack for your phone, and to embrace having a break from your tech!

PROJECT: Rock Farm is a therapeutic growing project
open to everyone, restoring both the landscape and people through an innovative market garden model. We grow fruit and vegetables using regenerative, permaculture, and no dig principles, with absolutely zero pesticides or herbicides. We are at the cutting edge of embedding productive crops in a forest garden ecosystem, which sinks a large amount of carbon into the soil instead of emitting it and provides the backbone of our sustainability and therapeutic curricula. Retreats, camping, workshops and horticulture courses are also available at Rock Farm, especially for marginalised people.
Rock Farm is part of One Church Brighton, an organisation with several social projects in and around the Brighton area. Rock Farm grows produce on six acres of community land in West Sussex, offering access to horticultural therapy and community gardening for a range of volunteers and vulnerable groups.

You are a creative, innovative and environmentally conscious young person. This volunteer project seeks to revitalize the community through a transformation process that combines cooperation, creativity and respect for the environment. Your volunteering is a unique opportunity to get involved in meaningful activities that will have a positive impact on the San Fermín neighborhood. This is an international program integrated into the San Fermín Neighborhood Association project in which two German volunteers participate and will be a link between the volunteers in the camp and the San Fermín neighborhood, facilitating the link between all participants.
Why participate in our workcamp?
“Growing Together in San Fermín” is a volunteering project for young people between 18 and 30 years old, from different parts of Spain and abroad. During this period, the volunteer participants will be able to develop personal skills, lead initiatives and work as a team. The young people will be able to learn about new cultures, languages and traditions, as well as meet other people with similar interests. This project will allow you to promote ecological practices, develop your creative capacity and interact with the neighbours in the development of activities for the San Fermín neighbourhood festival.
Tasks specific to the workcam
Your volunteering will be divided into three phases:
• Restoration and cleaning of the Urban Garden Environment: cleaning and reconditioning of the garden. Environmental workshops, incorporating environmental awareness dynamics
• Participation in the San Fermin neighborhood festivities: Volunteers will participate in neighborhood festivities to gather ideas and inspiration for the community mural. They will take notes and conduct interviews with neighbors based on the neighborhood's history. They will schedule artistic activities. This phase of the camp becomes a time of reflection and inspiration for the community mural that will be created in the last phase of the camp.
• Community Mural Creation: Volunteers will design a mural that symbolizes the values, diversity, history and identity of San Fermín, gathered during the festivities. They will participate in collaborative design and painting workshops. Each participant will contribute their vision to the creation of the mural. The creation of this mural will not only be a work of art, but also a symbol of the collaboration and community spirit that characterizes San Fermín.

Alliksaare Farm s main direction is horse breeding. At the moment there are around 150 horses on the farm. The work can be diverse: it is to take care and maintain the pastures located by the sea - clearing around the pastures, building or removing fences, repairing fences, cleaning the stable. Another work is cleaning the coast nearby the farm from rubbish brought by storms. There can be some work for preparing food for horses for a winter time. However the major and the most important one is work with horses directly - taking care and training them. There are horses of any age but mostly young ones, so depending on your experience and willingness to learn more, it is possible to practice taking care of and training young horses. For example socializing and training foals, halter train yearlings and saddle and/or carriage train young horses. The work will be mainly outdoors. Working time is 6-7 hours a day. Work will be done under some supervision and guidance of the local host but mostly independently.

In spring and autumn you can enjoy birds watching as their migration route goes over island. This camp is perfect for people who enjoy being close to the nature and are interested in traditional way of rural living.

The accommodation conditions are very simple - in caravans, however beds are provided. Please bring your sleeping bag. Toilets and showers are available on site. There is a kitchen with all necessary equipment for cooking. Ingredients for food will be provided, but you need to cook by yourselves. We ask you to keep the living and common areas clean (washing dishes, cleaning the floors, etc).

Special requirementsYou have to be open-minded and ready to adapt to the simple conditions of the common life in Estonian countryside. Be ready for independent work staying without permanent supervision. Please consider that the work is mainly farm work which can be hard at some time. It is very important that you already have some substantial experience with horses and be able to interact and train them. Please send a motivation letter explaining it. It can be helpful if you have some technical skills: repair machines, building, use chainsaws, etc. Driving license is an advantage. Smoking and drinking alcohol are not permitted on the farm. Participation feeWe ask participants to contribute a single fee of 60 Euro towards the costs of general administration. Fee does not depend on the duration of your stay. Hiiumaa, according to the Nordic sagas, emerged from the Baltic Sea as a small islet more than 10 000 years ago. The island of Hiiumaa was first mentioned in historical documents as a deserted island called Dageida in 1228. The first inhabitants settled down at the end of the 13th century. Nowadays, Hiiumaa is the second biggest island of Estonia with an area of 965 sq. km and a population of around 9 000. It has many historical and nature sights, and there are kind people known for their hospitality and good sense of humor. The island is referred to as a remote area of Europe, and EstYES feels particularly proud developing international voluntary projects for over twenty years there. EstYES has been cooperating with eco-farms all over Estonia for solidarity and practical support to local people who work in the agricultural sector keeping traditional lifestyle and developing new eco-farming despite all difficulties. Alliksaare Farm on Hiiumaa Island is one of such projects. This is an organic farm promoting sustainable lifestyle, and this camp is proposed for volunteers who appreciate and share its values, want to learn more about it and to help hard working people. Alliksaare Farm breeds an endangered breed of horses called Estonian Native horse. This is their main focus. Also Alliksaare Farm has an important task taking care of coastal meadows which are international birds migration area under protection of NATURA Program.
