The tasks to be carried out during the next work camps in summer 2025 will focus on im-proving the maintenance of two train cars, finishing the primer phase and PAINTING, since no workings were carried out for about two summers. In addition, doors and exterior windows enclosing will be made. In order to get this done, the works will be the following:
EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE BODY:
- Plastering and sanding of the areas that require it
- Primer with antioxidant paint of the sanitized areas.
- Painting
? Enclosure making in doors and windows.
CEILING: - Cleaning of the sheet, covering of holes by fiber application.
- Primer with an-ti-rust paint.
? Painting.
Two teams will carry out the technical work, so that each of them has both interior and ceiling works to perform. That way, in addition to complying with the Occupational Risk Pre-vention Plan, two groups of maximum 9 young people will take turns in the following tasks, directed in any case by municipal and railway technicians designated to the effect:
FIRST WEEK
Group 1: ROOF. Manual sanding, machine-bound sanding, antioxidant priming.
Group 2: EXTERIOR. machine-bound sanding, antioxidant primer.
SECOND WEEK
Group 1: ROOF & DOORS. Doors cleaning, antioxidant priming (doors), painting (ceiling and doors).
Group 2: EXTERIOR. Cleaning, antioxidant priming.
The groups of workers will be made up by themselves, but it will be recommended that they all rotate by the diverse works so that the learning experience can be optimized. Every worker will be provided the corresponding Individual Protection Equipment items required by the Security Plan, which will be endorsed by the City Council. In any case, the City of Canfranc and the AZAFT are responsible for the technical works, being present at all times the monitor and director of the activity in order to survey and facilitate the tasks, assist the groups as well as to ensure the proper understanding of all instructions in English and their Spanish translations for the local technicians.
Specific Objectives:
1. - Create an educational program based on community service to strengthen self-training skills for the rehabilitation of railway heritage.
2 - To promote the values of effort, cooperation, solidarity and social involvement among the youth population as a collaborative example of social work promoting sustainability values in terms of environment and heritage, its conservation, respect, dissemination and integration into the social life of young people.
3. - Provide a varied, dynamic and recreational program, tailored to the motivations and interests of the participants, and open to their suggestions and initiatives.
4. - Develop positive feelings and affections in the participants about the program and the group, creating a positive working atmosphere among them, and cultivating good relation-ships with the town's neighbors.

Canfranc-Station is located 1190 meters above the sea level, the whole district occupies an area of 71.6 km?. Up north of the valley the winter sports stations of Candanchu and Astun are located.
Historically speaking, cross-border communications have marked the evolution of the val-ley: the Somport -also called at times the port of Canfranc- is the less steep and thus the most frequently employed border crossing of all the central Pyrenees. From the old horseshoe road, transformed in 1876 into a road, to the construction of the cross-border railway, inaugu-rated in 1928, and the recent road tunnel, the history of communications through the Somport has remained closely intertwined to Canfranc?s own history.
The village?s permanent population amounts to about 600 inhabitants, although its tourist character gives that figure a boost up to as high as 1500 floating permanent dwellers when hotel beds and second residences are taken into account.
Among its main heritage features and historical assets, the FFCC International Station stands out as a marvel on its own. The Station, built in 1915 and inaugurated in 1928 by Al-fonso XIII, was at that time the second largest international train station of the entire continent. The Church of Our Lady of Pilar, designed by Miguel Fisac in 1965, is another historical site of the village.
Testimony to the cross-border character of the area and as a memory of past rivalries, remarkable pieces of defensive architecture can be found all over the area. Perched on a high promontory, the Fort Coll de Ladrones dominates the view of the upper side and surveils the station placement, whereas clusters of Bunkers belonging to the Line P of defense hide in strategic locations throughout the valley, waiting to be found by the trekkers. Right at the southern entrance to the village, the fortified Rifle Turret from the XIX century gives way to the travelers.
Hidden on the deep vowels of the mountain, CSIC Scientific Underground Laboratory carries out a search for the subtlest physical phenomena in and environment of cosmic si-lence.
This summer?s Program is arranged with a good dose of Scientific outreach, as a collabo-ration in a Citizen Science Experiment is scheduled with the Canfranc Underground Labora-tory (LSC) of the CSIC. In addition to this main complementary activity, a series of other lei-sure activities are scheduled throughout the program, taking place on chosen afternoons, evenings and weekend days. Such activities are specified below:
1. Environmental study activities: walks, environmental interpretation, landscape readings, fauna, flora, geomorphology, anthropology.
2. Mountaineering activities: two hikes in the area of La Moleta-Buenavista-Ip and Estiviel-las
3. Afternoon excursions: Gabardito, Camino de Santiago.
4. Visit to neighboring towns: Villanua, Castiello and Jaca.
5. Mountain sports: Orientation, cartography, hiking, etc.
6. Leisure activities: parties, games and gatherings.
7. Training activities: workshop on European citizenship
8. Awareness-raising activities: heritage guided tours, European values

Hostel in Canfranc:
Traditional house of Canfranc refurbished as a hostel and ideal for convivial activities for over 35 years. The participants are accommodated in a 20-bed dorm. The Hostel has a large dining room with wooden tables, which can be used as a multipurpose room, venue for parties, meetings and workshops. Additionally, there is an extra room with TV, computer for public use, games, music, where it is possible to perform recreational or educational activities. There are 4 showers and 4WC next to the dorm. The hostel is a very cozy place and can be seen in photographs on the web: www.sargantana.com/refugio.
Home-styled food is offered, with generous serving?s suit to cover the needs of adults who perform physical activities. Made by the professional staff at the hostel itself, in a professional kitchen. The dining room is spacious and connected to the kitchen. The group organizes the dining room according to their needs, taking care of the organization of tables, food, and leav-ing tables cleared and wiped off after each food service, since collaboration and co-responsibility are encouraged. There is also an outdoor dining room in the garden of the Hos-tel that can be enjoyed whenever the weather allows it, so as to enjoy summer nights. Specif-ic food is made for vegetarians, vegans and other needs as required.

The municipality of Heilsbronn will focus on two different projects to renovate and maintain the town’s infrastructure, with the help of international volunteers:
- Preservation tasks for the “Vita Parcours’” fitness trail: Clear the over-grown plants along the paths and across the different stations, make signs visible, and clean the stations and trails of any leftover trash.
- Renovate the “Barfußpfa” (barefoot path): This path is highly valued and used by the local community, especially by children and families. It includes many different textures such as pebbles, moss, and pine cones. The tasks will require emptying and refilling different sections of the path.
Additional similar projects may be added. You should expect to be working outdoors alongside municipal workers in renovation or construction tasks. Do not worry! No previous experience is required since a professional instructor will be there to provide support and guidance through the different tasks. You will work 30 hour per week between 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday with a lunchbreak on site.

Heilsbronn is a town of 9,300 inhabitants, located in the idyllic Bavarian region of Franken (Franconia). As it sits along one of the routes to the famous pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, it is frequently visited by tourists as well as pilgrims.
Heilsbronn has some historic buildings, including traditional half-timbered houses and the unique "Heilsbronn Abbey"—a 12th-century Cistercian monastery and local cathedral. However, Heilsbronn city centre has also a lot to offer! You will find supermarkets, various shops, pubs, youth centre, a barbecue area, and other amenities. Additionally, the town can offer free access to the outdoor swimming pool for your group. Nature lovers will enjoy several hiking trails in the beautiful surrounding landscape.
The nearby cities of Nuremberg, Bamberg, and Rothenburg are also within easy reach and can be visited on weekends using public transportation.

You will be staying at the local youth club called ‘’JUZ’’. The accommodation consists of two large rooms and a smaller one where you will sleep on camp beds or mattresses on the floor. Please bring a sleeping bag! There is a small kitchen, a common room with sofas and games to relay and get to know the rest of the team, two toilets and one bathroom. A washing machine and Wi-Fi connection will also be available in the facility.
As we mentioned, local community is excited about your arrival! Expect local youth to visit the club to welcome, show you around, and spend time connecting with the group.
The group of volunteers will be responsible for meal preparation, which includes grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning up afterward. Food will be purchased with the camp budget and tasks will be distributed during the first days to ensure everyone participates. In order to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat and explore other more sustainable dishes.

Summer school aimed at promoting youth learning about the value of nature and the environment by bringing them closer to and connecting them with the local natural ecosystem. This fosters environmental awareness and provides them with learning tools, as well as respect for nature and humanity, through activities focused on the local flora and fauna.
- Volunteers will prepare with the help of the coordinators and campleaders different activities and workshops for the local children (we are looking for committed and proactive participants).
- Volunteers will participate in relaxion workshops, excursions, activities in the rural world and natural sciencies, manual and creative activities.
A space free of screens, warm, for learning and fun among all young people and focused on nature will be created. The participant will be instructed and will instruct to become familiar with the true protagonists of the camps, nature and coexistence. They will learn to know, respect and value the land and the inhabitants who populate it.
Knowledge of English is mandatory and Spanish or Valencian is valued.
During the summer, temperatures can be very high, and weather conditions may not be optimal due to this.

Altea La Vella is a district of Altea, a municipality in the province of Alicante (Spain). It has 583 inhabitants (INE 2012). This place of the Marina Baja is located between the sea and the mouintains and was the origin of the current Altea. Its white houses stand out. It is located 3.5km south north of the urban center of Altea, 3 km south of the Sierra de Bernia, 2 km west of the Mediterranean Sea and 9 km from Callosa de Ensarria.

The facilities of Finca Santa Barbara have the optimal requirements for carrying out this project, since they are located in a rural enclave, with toilets, showers, children's games area, a picnic area, camping areas for TENTS and a swimming pool. Summer sleeping bag is necessary.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader. Tents will be provided by the organization yet you can bring your own tent if you wish

If we don't recieve the fee and the flight/bus tickets of the volunteer, we will consider that she/he will not attending to project and we will give opportunity to other volunteers that are on the waiting list.

Alliksaare Farm s main direction is horse breeding. At the moment there are around 150 horses on the farm. The work can be diverse: it is to take care and maintain the pastures located by the sea - clearing around the pastures, building or removing fences, repairing fences, cleaning the stable. Another work is cleaning the coast nearby the farm from rubbish brought by storms. There can be some work for preparing food for horses for a winter time. However the major and the most important one is work with horses directly - taking care and training them. There are horses of any age but mostly young ones, so depending on your experience and willingness to learn more, it is possible to practice taking care of and training young horses. For example socializing and training foals, halter train yearlings and saddle and/or carriage train young horses. The work will be mainly outdoors. Working time is 6-7 hours a day. Work will be done under some supervision and guidance of the local host but mostly independently.

The accommodation conditions are very simple - in caravans, however beds are provided. Please bring your sleeping bag. Toilets and showers are available on site. There is a kitchen with all necessary equipment for cooking. Ingredients for food will be provided, but you need to cook by yourselves. We ask you to keep the living and common areas clean (washing dishes, cleaning the floors, etc).

Special requirementsYou have to be open-minded and ready to adapt to the simple conditions of the common life in Estonian countryside. Be ready for independent work staying without permanent supervision. Please consider that the work is mainly farm work which can be hard at some time. It is very important that you already have some substantial experience with horses and be able to interact and train them. Please send a motivation letter explaining it. It can be helpful if you have some technical skills: repair machines, building, use chainsaws, etc. Driving license is an advantage. Smoking and drinking alcohol are not permitted on the farm. Participation feeWe ask participants to contribute a single fee of 60 Euro towards the costs of general administration. Fee does not depend on the duration of your stay. Hiiumaa, according to the Nordic sagas, emerged from the Baltic Sea as a small islet more than 10 000 years ago. The island of Hiiumaa was first mentioned in historical documents as a deserted island called Dageida in 1228. The first inhabitants settled down at the end of the 13th century. Nowadays, Hiiumaa is the second biggest island of Estonia with an area of 965 sq. km and a population of around 9 000. It has many historical and nature sights, and there are kind people known for their hospitality and good sense of humor. The island is referred to as a remote area of Europe, and EstYES feels particularly proud developing international voluntary projects for over twenty years there. EstYES has been cooperating with eco-farms all over Estonia for solidarity and practical support to local people who work in the agricultural sector keeping traditional lifestyle and developing new eco-farming despite all difficulties. Alliksaare Farm on Hiiumaa Island is one of such projects. This is an organic farm promoting sustainable lifestyle, and this camp is proposed for volunteers who appreciate and share its values, want to learn more about it and to help hard working people. Alliksaare Farm breeds an endangered breed of horses called Estonian Native horse. This is their main focus. You will have several tasks: helping to organise local life, particularly by assisting with the organisation of festivities. You'll also help to organise concerts and contribute to community life. You'll be an integral part of the volunteer team and will be responsible for loading instruments and setting up stages, among other tasks. On average, you'll work between 5 and 6 hours a day.

At the crossroads of some pretty little villages in the Charente, you'll be able to take full advantage of the local heritage. Visits to the region will be organised collectively according to your wishes, for example to the Chateau des Enigmes, the Domaine de Birius, etc. You'll also be able to discover local towns such as Cognac, Saintes and perhaps La Rochelle! Leisure time and local activities will give you the chance to meet the locals!

Accommodation will be shared between the Maison des Bateleurs in Montendre and the Lycee de Pons boarding school. You will be welcomed at the Maison des Bateleurs at the start and end of the work camp, where meals will be prepared in turn by you, in particular for lunch and dinner, while respecting environmental values and local resources, as well as everyone's culture (hot and cold dishes, as well as for vegetarians and vegans will be prepared).
When you sleep on the festival site, meals will be provided by the organisers.

Oltre al piacere del NUOTO IN ACQUE LIBERE in uno dei mari più suggestivi del Mar Mediterraneo, il nostro soggiorno sarà arricchito da iniziative alla SCOPERTA dell’ISOLA DI ULISSE. Nuoteremo in acque cristalline tra reperti archeologici e lunghi canyon aperti tra le alte falesie, esploreremo le silenziose spiagge dell’isola e avremo occasione di conoscere la storia e il folklore locali. Sarà comunque necessario contattare la nostra segrete-ria per l’organizzazione del viaggio (in aereo e traghetto) per raggiungere l’isola di Itaca.
Lavoro
I volontari recupereranno i rifiuti dal mare durante le nuotate lungo costa e li trasporteranno a riva. Al ter-mine delle attività in acqua si progetteranno e realizzeranno delle opere artistiche, utilizzando solo i mate-riali recuperati dal mare e dalle coste. I rifiuti saranno riassemblati dando sfogo alla fantasia per produrre nuove forme che raccontano l’esperienza vissuta in mare. Il lavoro artistico verrà poi documentato attra-verso foto e video. Al termine dell’attività, le opere verranno smaltite seguendo le normative locali di rac-colta differenziata. I volontari svolgeranno inoltre le attività di Marine and Beach Litter- indagine sulla quan-tità e tipologia di rifiuti raccolti in mare e sulle spiagge raggiunte durante le escursioni, al fine di contribuire alla Direttiva Europea sulla Marine Strategy. Tutte le attività del campo, il lavoro in mare e il lavoro artistico saranno documentate con una macchina fotografica compatta scafandrata messa a disposizione dall’ASD Swimtrekking, insieme a un computer. A fine campo sarà realizzato un video con tutti i contenuti delle attivi-tà svolte e consegnato ai partecipanti (munirsi di penna USB). Altro aspetto fondamentale del campo sarà il censimento di specie marine e delle meduse. L’OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Speri-mentale proseguirà la collaborazione con Swimtrekking in un progetto Citizen Science estendendo per il 2025 la raccolta di informazioni su ogni avvistamento di meduse, tartarughe di mare, noci di mare e delfini.

La bella e tranquilla isola di Itaca, famosa per essere stata la patria di Ulisse, è separata dall’isola di Cefalo-nia da un canale di 3 km di larghezza. La costa orientale è aspra e a strapiombo, mentre quella occidentale è verde e leggermente inclinata verso il Mar Ionio. L’interno è montuoso, ricoperto da pini, cipressi, olivi e vi-gneti. L’isola è ricca di piccoli villaggi e numerosi siti archeologici. Il mare dalle acque cristalline che si esplo-rerà in questo campo è ricchissimo di flora, fauna e reperti archeologici. Kioni è la località dove avrà sede il campo, un pittoresco villaggio di pescatori, con un grazioso porticciolo commerciale, caratterizato da stra-dine, negozi, taverne e café. Incantevoli calette rendono il luogo un vero e proprio paradiso terrestre. Nonostante ciò, determinati punti dell’isola di Itaca, sono particolarmente esposti alle correnti che depositano sulle spiagge e lungo la costa un notevole quantitativo di rifiuti con una altissima percentuale di polistirolo (si tratta delle casette in cui i pescherecci conservano il pescato e che poi finiscono in mare). In accordo con il Sindaco di Itaca sarà quindi compito dei volontari pulire le spiagge inaccessibili da terra. A completamento della pulizia effettuata dai volontari, sarà l’amministrazione locale a provvedere alla rimozione della spazzatura.
Attività formative
I volontari, adeguatamente informati in merito a flora e fauna marina avranno il compito di censire, catalogare e studiare i comportamenti delle meduse, noci di mare, tartarughe e delfini incontrate durante le attività di esplorazione lungo costa. I volontari seguiranno inoltre le direttive tema dei progetti Marine and Beach Litter per la conservazione dell'ambiente naturalistico.

Captain’s Apartment sono dei confortevoli e graziosi appartamenti (monolocali e bilocali, attrezzati di cuci-ne e ampi spazi comuni), situati nella parte alta del villaggio a pochi minuti a piedi dalla marina e dal caratteristico porticciolo turistico di Kioni.
Requisiti e materiali
L’attività dello Swimtrekking si basa sul nuoto. Sarà quindi fondamentale che tutti i volontari sappiano nuotare i due stili principali: lo stile libero e lo stile dorso. Specifichiamo inoltre che non sono assolutamente importanti i tempi di percorrenza e la tecnica individuale ma una certa abitudine all’attività fisica. Si richiede quindi una certa consuetudine con l’attività sportiva di qualsiasi genere sia pur blanda. Le persone molto se-dentarie non sono adatte a questo tipo di esperienza. L’attività di Swimtrekking migliora la propria tecnica individuale nel nuoto, sviluppa l’autocontrollo e la conoscenza di sé, fa conoscere una serie di tecniche quali l’apnea e il salvamento, studia la flora e la fauna, il moto ondoso, i venti e le correnti, rafforza e accresce le dinamiche del gruppo. Chiunque può quindi affrontare in maniera positiva l’esperienza di un campo Swimtrekking se interessato a sperimentare le conoscenze da noi proposte.

Volunteers will have simple accommodation in the rooms of the Marjamaa Community House right in the centre of the village, sleeping on mattresses. Please bring a sleeping bag. This project is actively working for SDG 4 (Quality Education), organized together with Shirakami Nature School (SNS) since 2006. Shirakami Mountains is one of Japanese valuable preserved natural forests consisting primarily of beech trees, registered as a World Natural Heritage in 1993. SNS has a summer vacation program for children aged 7-12 who will play and live in the nature to grow their independence, cultivate sensitivity, and learn group cooperation. This is also good opportunity for children to learn about international culture through communication with international volunteers. Volunteers need to be ready to spend 24 hours with kids during kids camp except some free times.

This project is actively working for SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDGs 15 (Life on Land), organized together with Tabito Satoyama Restoration Committee (TSRC), since 2022. Tabito-cho is an area of Iwaki City with an ageing population, but at the same time it still retains its traditional satoyama landscape. Former NICE staff, her husband who took up as Local Vitalization Cooperator (organized by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) in 2019, was fascinated by Tabito area and wanted to pass on the local satoyama nature and culture to the next generation. The TSRC was set up with the involvement of local people. The couple's vision of a 'Tabito Workcamp Village' to enliven the depopulated and ageing town with a workcamp movement was launched. T From 2022, TSRC accepted very short-term workcamp in spring, short-term workcamp in summer and medium- to long-term volunteers were organized, and accepted a university group.

First part (30.07.-06.08.) will be all about the preparation of Windmill festival, which is very rich with content. The volunteers will be helping out to the organizers and the other volunteers in setting everything in its place (stage, fences, cleaning the field) and in decorations, because the festival will start on the 7th. During the festival (07.08.-09.08.), volunteers will help with the tasks (sell the tickets at the entrance, inform the guests, move things, things that need to be moved, keep the space without trash, help the musicians maybe, why not, etc...) for around 4 hours a day. All the rest-enjoying time!

Orom is relatively small village with almost completely Hungarian population in the Kanjiza municipality, in the North Banat District, Vojvodina province. It is surrounded by natural beauty with landscaped surroundings and friendly hosts. Settlement was founded at the end of the 19th century.
Orom was organized around railway station, important crossroad and the school. Many houses, stores, but also windmills were built gradually. It is agricultural area and many people are having farms with pigs and cows (that are taken care of with soul). Today it is well connected with Subotica (Szabadka), that is important center of that part.
Before the festival-festival, excursion to Subotica or other interesting places in the neighbourhood can be organized.
During the festival, there will be offered plenty of activities where volunteers can take part. Many workshops will be organized, collective reading, photography, potential circus productions, games for kids, cooking lessons, dance, and sometimes rides in the local chariots.
One secret (that is not that anymore) is that there is also a big pool where volunteers can relax in the hot sunny days.
Please bring a positive attitude, meeting people from other cultures of this Serbian-Hungarian village is really important to the hosts.

The accommodation will be under the tents in the festival zone. Tents will be provided for the volunteers, but if anyone wants extra-comfort, it is completely acceptable to bring your own tent (seriously, haha).
Meals will be prepared together or will be made by the local chef, negotiations are still in progress.

The Morelia Zoo has stood out for implementing environmental education initiatives. Its main goal is to raise awareness among visitors about the importance of caring for the environment, biodiversity, and the preservation of flora and, especially, fauna. Each year, the zoo organizes the famous summer camp, a space designed for children who, over the course of three weeks, participate in fun and recreational activities with the support of trained instructors. In a safe environment surrounded by greenery and a variety of species, children have fun while gaining valuable knowledge about the reality of animals and the impact we can have on their protection.
The project's goal is for volunteers to support facilitators and coordinators in the activities of the summer camp, actively engaging with the children in its dynamics. There are three main tasks to this project:
• Mowing the protected mountain Meadows: The Meadows are open fields or grasslands, often filled with wildflowers, herbs, and grasses. They can be natural or maintained by man and they serve as important habitats for wildlife, including insects, birds, and small mammals. Meadows are commonly found in valleys, foothills, and near forests, playing a key role in biodiversity and ecosystems. In order to protect all the wildlife here, driving with machines is not permitted, so all the mowing needs to be done by hand. This is a very good way to connect with the land but it can also be a quite physical work.
• Maintaining Capercaillie habitats: Capercaillies are ground-dwelling birds that feed mainly on buds, leaves, berries, and insects. Their populations have declined due to habitat loss and human disturbance, making conservation efforts crucial, especially in regions like the Black Forest, where they are endangered. It is one of the largest chicken bird species in Europe and is threatened with extinction in Germany. You will be removing wood and cutting branches in strategic zones and areas of the Black Forest to promote better conditions in their habitat, increasing their chances of survival, breeding success, and overall population stability.
• Forest maintenance: You will be removing branches from trees (with and without a ladder). Removing branches from trees in the Black Forest helps improve light penetration and biodiversity, creating a healthier habitat for wildlife like the capercaillie, while preventing overcrowding, disease, and reducing the risk of wildfires. The work will be led by a professional instructor, so no previous experience is needed.
The work will be around 30 hours per week, (including a lunchbreak), from Monday to Friday. We begin our work early at 8:00 am to make the most of the cooler morning temperatures. The work site is just a short walk from the accommodation, so it’s easy to get there walking.

The "Allerheiligen" forest district is located in south-west Germany, approx. 30 km from the French border as the crow flies. You will live and work in the middle of nature, in the direct neighbourhood of the Black Forest National Park. There are many hiking opportunities, some of which start directly from the accommodation (Karlsruher Grat, Allerheiligen waterfalls, the national park). Easily accessible by car: Mummelsee, Baden-Baden, Strasbourg, Freudenstadt, summer toboggan runs etc. Theres a lot to explore and a cool town to live in!

The accommodation is in the base building of the forest district, on the first floor. The building is called “Kriesenhof” and the forest district is called “Allerheiligen”. It is nice and cozy flat that has all the facilities that you might need, such as a kitchen, a shower, a bathroom, a washing machine and even WIFI. You will sleep on mattresses, in one shared room. Please bring a sleeping bag (and a pillow if you want one) with you! There is also a barbecue area that you can use and enjoy with the group. If you want to spend a same time on your own you will be at the perfect location as it is a very remote place with beautiful surroundings.
All volunteers will be responsible for grocery shopping and cooking together. The food will be bought with the camp budget and everybody will take turns for cooking, and cleaning. In order to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat consumption and try more sustainable dishes.

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming "Ohenro (pilgrims)" who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago. The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting "Kakurin-ji temple"; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage locals are trying to find new ways for "omotenashi (hospitality)". Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land. Local host Oi have finally decided that they can freely renovate and modify the vacant houses. Moreover, the site is in a good location, with mountains, a river and fields. It is up to the volunteers from now on to decide how to develop the project. The volunteers will have tasks that help increase biodiversity in the areas surrounding Lastu and other sites nearby. This will be achieved by building living fences, building pens and shelters for sheep, and creating works of art from living materials. The volunteers will also be creating moss graffiti and seed bombs. They will help the host with sustainable renovation of buildings and also try out textile repair and patching by sewing durable bags. The volunteers can delve into traditional skills such as carpet weaving and spinning in workshops during a local one day family event called Vasikkasavut.

Lapinlahti is a small municipality with around 9000 inhabitants located in an area called Northern Savonia. The area has lots of beautiful nature, and is famous for having lots of forest and lakes. During the free time, it is possible to go swimming in the lake, visit art museums, flea markets, shops, a parkour park, outdoor gym, and discover different nature attractions and hiking trails nearby.

The accommodation is organized indoors as communal living in a summer house or classrooms with access to bathrooms. If you want, you can also sleep in a tent. The volunteers have access to the kitchen and they will cook meals together.

The volunteers need travel insurance for the duration of their stay. The EYA project is primarily targeted to European volunteers. Volunteers traveling by land (bus or train) for most of their journey will be eligible for a travel grant up to 100euro. A criminal record extract is required.

Their mission is to support and develop architectural and environmental cultural education and promote the appreciation, understanding and nurturing of old and newer built cultural heritage. Their aim is to help people to create a relationship with nature and offer tools to nurture and care for the environment.This camp is a part of the project European Youth in Action: policymakers for climate justice, supported by the CERV programme, improving competences in concrete actions for climate justice. The horizontal theme of this camp is biodiversity.

You will have the honor of being the first international volunteers to enter this building, which has been partially closed to the public for many years.
Under the supervision of a specialized technical instructor, you will begin by removing the wall plaster. You will then clear out the old mortar and repoint the stones to highlight their beauty. This will be a great opportunity to learn traditional masonry techniques, as well as ceiling work and insulation installation. Bring appropriate work clothing, as it may get dirty. Safety equipment will be provided, and no prior qualifications are required. You will work approximately 4 to 5 hours per day.

On the Ile d'Oleron, you can enjoy many water activities, such as fishing and surfing with local clubs. The beach, bike rides along the coast, beach volleyball, and other pleasures await you. You can also visit cities like La Rochelle and Rochefort. Activities and outings will be organized with the local population and especially with youth organisations. Leisure time will encourage meeting the locals who are eagerly awaiting you!

Accommodation will be in one or two-person tents at the Rene Roux sports complex, where you will have exclusive access to the locker rooms for showers. You must bring your warm sleeping bag and a pillow; we provide inflatable mattresses. Food will be provided for all meals, with a budget managed collectively by the group and the facilitators. In turn, you will prepare meals, prioritizing local resources and respecting everyone's dietary regimes (hot and cold dishes, vegetarian, and vegan).

Dive into the history of the Ile d'Oleron by participating in the renovation of a 16th-century seigneurial estate! Every stone has a story to tell. Just outside the town, you'll find the grand estate of La Cailletiere, owned by the commune since 2008. In the 16th century, it was a seigneurial residence consisting of a large manor house with several rooms on the ground floor and first floors, a bordier's dwelling (laborer?s house), and included wine cellars, distilleries, livestock and poultry parks. The commune of Dolus d'Oleron aims to open this space to the public and wishes to add an international dimension by hosting this project with La Maison des Bateleurs.

The participants will do different activities of nature protection like cutting, dredging, pilling up the paths and haymaking. The cooperation with the local partner has been taking place since several years and they are always very supportive and looking forward to host you in their beautiful area.

The ‘Drentsche Aa’ area is a varied old cultural landscape, shaped by age old interplay of agriculture and nature. The ‘Drentsche Aa’ is also the name of the stream that meanders through this area and creates a typical landscape that is declared National Park. It includes 16 authentic villages. Volunteers will discuss the recreational program together with the camp leaders. For example they can explore the area by bike, go swimming, visit the city of Groningen, Westerbork transit camp (where Anne Frank was prisoned) and other places in the Netherlands.

During the training and forest and nature project Drentsche Aa the accommodation will be in tents. The tents will be provided by us. It's necessary to bring your own Sleeping mattress / sleeping mat, sleeping bag*.There is also a shared community space where the training will take place, along with other activities such as cooking and games.

This project especially invites volunteers that are actively involved in international volunteering opportunities in your home country, as it is a unique combination of a 3-day training and 2 weeks of volunteering. The training activities will help the team building of the group. The participants will also work on intercultural communication and collaboration. Finally, you will reflect on your own learning goals for the project as well as the meaning of sustainability and the environment as the volunteering will focus on personal development through working in an international group on nature preservation. Participants will be encouraged to implement the lessons learnt back home. The project is supported by Erasmus+ and as a result the project is only open for participants who live and travel from/to an EU country, Iceland, North Macedonia, Norway, Republic of Türkiye or Republic of Serbia. Actual travel costs will be reimbursed up to certain caps. Travel by rail, bus or car sharing is promoted. Visa costs will also be reimbursed. July 31 is arrival date, the training is on 1-2 Aug, while the nature conversation project in the National Parc Drentsche Aa for two weeks starts right after.
This work camp contains a unique training opportunity at the start of the camp. No preparation training is required in the home country.

Re:nember them! In this workcamp you can get involved in the preservation of the former Nazi women's concentration camp Ravensbruck.
Study part:
Join us for the first week to get to know the Ravensbruck Memorial and its history. We will deal intensively and artistically with biographies of imprisoned women and survivors who were imprisoned in the Ravensbruck concentration camp and afterwards in the subcamp Waldbaulager, which is part of the Ravensbruck concentration camp.
Also there will be an audio workshop based on the impressions of the sight.
Work part:
Various maintenance works in the exterior of the memorial and the collections.

Brandenburg small town in lake and river landscape, possibility of canoeing, cycling and swimming, by train in one hour in Berlin and train connection to the Baltic Sea.

The former women's concentration camp Ravensbruck was built in 1939 near the small town of Furstenberg/Havel. Until its liberation in April 1945, over 120,000 women and children, 20,000 men and 1,000 underage young women from the so-called "Uckermark Youth Protection Camp" were imprisoned there. The prisoners came from more than 40 nations. They had to perform forced labor in various sectors, e.g. for SS factories or the Siemens company. Their daily lives were marked by hunger, mistreatment and poor hygienic conditions. Tens of thousands of prisoners were killed. Today, the Ravensbruck Memorial preserves traces and records, promotes remembering and research, and creates a place for active learning and encounters. Every year, international work camps are organized in cooperation with the memorial.

The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.
Alloggio
In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

The extra fee has be paid by card ( in the exceptional cases we can accept bank transfer as well) 3 weeks before the camp as a confirmation of participation.
If we don't recieve the fee and the flight/bus tickets of the volunteer, we will consider that she/he will not attending to project and we will give opportunity to other volunteers that are on the waiting list.
