In the mornings, you'll help renovate the farm where our animals live. These activities will include removing the old and deteriorated fence, cleaning and preparing the terrain, creating new poles with wood and installing the new fence with long-lasting materials, strengthening the access areas to facilitate the circulation and care of the animals, and some final details such as safety adjustments and various decorative elements to give more vibrancy to the farm. Contribute to this project that combines preservation and enhancement of rural life! Together, we'll build a safe and welcoming environment for the animals and for future generations to come.

You can also go up to the Chapel of Notre Dame de Beauvoir, a listed historic monument, which overlooks and offers an exceptional view of the village and the Verdon valley. You will meet earthenware artisans and visit the museum in the town. The residents, community volunteers and elected officials will come to meet you and will be happy to share their territory with you.

You will participate in the collective preparation of meals and the tasks of daily life. You will go to the construction site on foot (around 10 minutes).

This work has improved access, safety and the aesthetics of the trail.2024: Work on the apies walls, testimony to local beekeeping know-how. ProgramThere are diverse activities in the camp program: canoeing, water scootering, running ATV, paintball in the forest, sport games - football, rugby, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, archery, frisbee, disc-golf, trampolines, different competitions, forest cross, sport orientation in the forest on and on sea (navigation), fishing, Viking boats, bicycle trips to explore the area, visit to the horse farm with horse riding, excursions historical places of interest in the area, active games and adventure trail in Roosta Adventure Park, picnics on a seaside, building sand and stones castles on the beach, Estonian sauna party, etc. Bikes are available for the whole camp duration free of charge. WorkThere will be also some voluntary work such as painting of community buildings, making wooden toys and games for local orphanage, repairing benches and tables, cleaning local beach and old local park from garbage, planting trees, little renovation works in the local school, clearing pavement, helping seniors living in the community with some household duties, preparing fire woods for heating, berries and herbs picking to give the crop to the orphanage and seniors home, duty in a kitchen and around the camp once in a shift, etc. The work will be organised in cooperation with local forestry department, municipality of Nova and local school. Please note that the work described above is planned for the whole summer and it may change from one shift to another depending on local needs, the season and weather conditions.

AccommodationIn wooden huts set by the local school nearby the seaside (500 m away). Please bring your sleeping bag and mat. Showers, toilets are provided in the school and there will be additional bio-toilets set on camping site. You can have traditional Estonian sauna every dayCateringMeals are served 3 times a day. There are water machines with cold water in the school complex. Catering takes place in the schools mess hall or into the lager tent outside near the mess. Meals are cooked by professional cooks. However participants will be asked to help cleaning.Medical AidCamp staff members have medical certificates and are able to provide the first aid. And there is a car on call 24/7 which goes to the nearest hospital, which is 40km away, in more serious case of any emergency.

Special requirementsParticipants have to be sporty (e.g. be ready to run up to 3 km, bike up to 30 km), independent enough, curious and interested in active life style. Please inform us beforehand about allergies, dietary requirements you have or others prescriptions from your doctor. Please bring sleeping bag and mat, wind and waterproof clothes, goods shoes, warm and summer clothes. It s advisable to take thermal underwear. If possible, please take tick vaccination before coming. Generally, age of participants is 14-17, however exceptions are possible. NB Smoking, drinking alcohol, using drugs is absolutely prohibited in the camp and this policy will be followed strictly Thus, if you cannot quit smoking for a while it is probably better not to come. Camp common language is English. Local languages are Estonian and Russian.Participation feeUnlike the normal camp there will be not too much of work here. Nevertheless, participants will be provided with board, lodging, local transportation and all equipment necessary to realize camp program. Besides, program involves a lot of extra costs for excursions, trips out, visits, sport activities, equipment, materials and general administration and leadership. Since neither EstYES nor its local camp partner, does not receive financial support for this camp from municipality or private sources, to realize this camp we have to charge participation fee of 500 Euro, which covers all camp and program costs including transfer from Tallinn to and from the camp, and which has to be paid by bank transfer before the camp or by participants upon arrival to the camp. The bank details will be provided after the acceptance of the participant to the camp. NB Participants coming from outside Europe are asked to consult with us before paying fee by bank transfer to reduce high banking charges.

This camp is organized for teenagers by youth sport club Lukas-Basket which has been running national youth camps for 25 years and International ones for the past 12 years. International teenage camps will be hosted on seaside in the West of Estonia in Laanemaa County in the municipality of Nova. Beautiful nature, numerous historical places, 200 years long tradition of health resort, unique cultural events are the treasures of the County. Nova with warm sea, white sand, mushroom and berry crops, picturesque lakes, cobble stone road and many places of interest is ideal place for leisure. The aim of Nova camp is to give young people possibility to have active, healthy and meaningful summer vacations with different sport adventures, to enjoy unspoiled nature and to learn to live in harmony with it, also to explore and realize their own capacities and limits. The program will include water activities, sport and ball games, eco-hikes, bicycle trips to places of interest, horse riding, fishing, rowing, acquaintance with local culture and many other exciting things. Mens sana in corpore sano (Healthy Spirit in Healthy Body) i this is the message of the camp Besides all this, camp gives possibility for intensive contacts between local youth and their peers from abroad, showing youngsters the diversity of world cultures, broadening their horizons and encouraging active communication through games and creative activities. Finally, there will be some voluntary work for nature protection and to support local community. The area of the camp is about 3 hectares and it can host over 60 youngsters on one shift. The age of local participants is 10-18. Local teenagers are mainly Russian-speaking of minority communities of Estonia. The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.

In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

The extra fee has be paid by card ( in the exceptional cases we can accept bank transfer as well) 3 weeks before the camp as a confirmation of participation.
If we don't recieve the fee and the flight/bus tickets of the volunteer, we will consider that she/he will not attending to project and we will give opportunity to other volunteers that are on the waiting list.

The Springhornhof Foundation in the Lüneburg Heath is the funding organisation for one of Europe's pioneering landscape art projects. Renowned artists from all over the world have created more than forty works of land art here since the 1970s. Most of the works in this ‘open museum’ are freely accessible and blend gently into the natural surroundings. Others make a clearly visible statement in the landscape. In the first week of the workcamp, your group will help with restoration work on some of the artworks - repainting, cleaning, trimming bushes, small repairs.
In the second week, you will get creative together with the artists Tanja Bächlein, Arne Bunk and Karin Missy Paule Haenlein. In teams of three, you will go out with cameras and microphones and produce small experimental films, photos and sounds on the sculptures. The recordings will then be edited and cut into short reels. At the end, we will celebrate a small landscape art film festival together.

Neuenkirchen has 5.500 residents and is located in the center of the nature park Lüneburg Heath, a unique cultural landscape and one of the most popular destinations for trips in Germany. There is an outdoor swimming pool, an ice cream parlour and you will have the opportunity to go horseback riding or visiting a sheep farm. Apart from that, you will have bikes provided, which you can use for trips into the Heath. Bigger cities like Hamburg, Hannover and Bremen can be easily reached by train. If you want to spend your summer in a very special place surrounded by greenery, then come to the Old Brickworks Gahlen: There you will find the integrative environmental education institution Interforum e.V. It is a meeting place and action space for various target groups. Your task will be to take care of this special place. There will be a variety of tasks depending on your needs and interests. Possible tasks are e.g. helping with construction projects to beautify the area in the field of garden and landscape art = LandArt or with renovation work, but also nature-related work such as the care and harvesting of the many gardens.
This year we would like to produce replicas of flowerbed borders, salvage and process demolition bricks, promote permaculture and bank stabilization and protect board walls with old linen oil.
One of the unique aspects of this project is its openness to the development of new ideas and the flexibility of the work. This project therefore aims to encourage creativity in various directions, to foster the independence as well as the self-organisation of the group, but also provide practical support in the process of putting ideas into practice.

You will spend your work camp in the middle of nature on the grounds of the old brickyard that feel like a little paradise. You are invited to try out everything you can do outdoors: swimming in the lake or in the small pool, biking, playing soccer and table tennis, and in the evening sitting around the campfire and looking at the stars.
By bike you can quickly reach a swimming lake. In addition, there are sheep, cats and dogs with which you can possibly even go for a walk! And of course you can also bike to the nearby small towns of Calau or Gahlen or go on weekend trips to Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig or even Poland and the Czech Republic.

Nature conservation in the city? You might think that there is no room for nature in the city between concrete and tarmac. But if you take a closer look, you are often amazed at what lives there. Where people work, dwell and live, small nature conservation gems are hidden. Come with us to a sand dune in Gifhorn. It is slowly becoming overgrown with shrubs that need to be removed to preserve the habitat of species such as silver grass and sand sedge, which love dry and nutrient-poor conditions. The route then continues into a residential area where there is a wetland biotope. This is a refuge for peat mosses and dragonflies, but ducks also breed here from time to time. It was fenced off to protect it from trespassers. The fence is now very fragile and will be dismantled with your help so that a new fence can be erected. The rivers in the urban area are also special habitats that connect different biotopes. Unfortunately, due to high water and careless people, rubbish often ends up in the waters, which can also be dangerous for other nature reserves. So get in the boats! From the river, rubbish must be removed from the water and from the embankments. The staff of the Environment Department will guide and support you in this work. Your programme will also include an information day on wildlife in natural waters.

A playground and a football pitch are available directly on site. The surrounding area invites you to go hiking, cycling and canoeing. You can meet young people at the youth centre and spend time there at events and concerts in the evenings. Other leisure activities are swimming, bowling or canoeing. The mill museum and the castle museum are well worth a visit. On Fridays there are sports activities such as football and climbing in the neighbouring sports hall. ‘Gifhorn International’ a cultural festival with various stands (food and information from all over the world) will take place in the town centre on 13 September. Trip to Hannover, Wolfsburg or Braunschweig at the weekend.

Would you like to make an important contribution to the conservation of moors and heaths and their animals and plants? Then this workcamp in the beautiful countryside of northern Germany between Bremen and Hamburg is the right place for you. You will work with your workcamp group in seven protected areas. In the fauna-flora-habitat areas (FFH - habitat of animals and plants protected under EU law) and nature reserves (NSG) “Bullensee und Hemelsmoor”, “Hohes Moor”, “Großes Moor” and “Feerner Moor”, you will remove sawn-off trees and shrubs from former peat-cutting areas to create habitats for endangered and peat-relevant plant species such as Bult peat moss, cranberry and smooth snake. In the landscape conservation area (LSG) "Stellingsmoor", your group will clear sensitive moor areas in order to preserve moor development and the habitat for the protected smooth snake. In the “Swatte Flag” nature reserve (NSG) you will clear a protected shallow water body for dragonflies and check bat boxes in the “Beverner Wald” nature reserve.
All activities are professionally supervised by the staff and volunteers of the NABU Ecological Station Oste-Region. In addition to the practical work, you will learn a lot about nature conservation and environmental protection in general as well as the natural habitat of moors and heaths and their protection in particular from the staff and volunteers. You will learn a lot about the local flora and fauna, their relevance for the ecosystem and the various measures to protect them.
Cooperation partners for this work camp are the Office for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management of the Rotenburg and Stade districts and the NABU Bremervörde-Zeven and Stade district groups.

In your leisure time, you can enjoy your quiet accommodation and the beautiful surroundings by playing sports and spending evenings together around the campfire. There is a table football in the house and outside there is a goal wall, a basketball hoop, a table tennis table, a football pitch with two goals, a barbecue and a campfire area with seating.
After work you can also take the hourly bus to the neighbouring town of Zeven within 10 minutes.
At the weekend trips to Bremen and Hamburg are worthwhile.
Alloggio
You will stay in the Badenstedt school hostel, a self-catering house with 4 and 6-bed rooms in the middle of nature. The house has a large kitchen, toilets, communal showers and two common rooms for eating and group activities.
You cook together. Money for shopping will be provided. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please indicate any intolerances when registering.

The Ecological NABU- Station Oste Region is an institution of NABU Lower Saxony. The station provides local support to the Rotenburg and Stade districts in their management of protected areas. Its core tasks are primarily the recording of animal and plant species, the initiation, planning, implementation and success monitoring of maintenance and development measures, as well as the planning and implementation of species protection measures.
The station not only works closely with the nature conservation authorities, but also with the Office for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management of the Rotenburg and Stade districts and the NABU Bremervörde-Zeven and Stade district groups to coordinate and initiate necessary measures.

The Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, 40 km east of Berlin, offers a unique natural and cultural landscape as well as an area for our project in and around the ‘Drei Eichen’ environmental education centre. By cooperating with the nature park administration, we will not only get to know the nature park and its surroundings, but also actively help to shape it.
We are offering this work camp because it is fun to have young people from all over the world with us and because we simply need a lot of hands for some of the work!
People and pets live on the grounds of the Drei Eichen environmental education centre - and there are almost always lots of guests: children, families, seminar groups.
For activities in between, Drei Eichen and its grounds offer many opportunities to learn about plants and animals, nature conservation and alternative ways of life and to actively participate. These include the tipi village and the wilderness education centre, the Zeidlerei station and a pottery workshop. Excursions or courses can be organised here by prior arrangement.
On some days you will ‘give something back to Drei Eichen’ by working on the farm - because sometimes we need many hands: e.g. for wood protection coating on the playground, repair work, building nesting boxes or replanting. We decide at short notice and depending on the weather.
At various locations in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, we will spend a few days helping to carry out various landscape conservation work in different natural areas. Autumn is the time when trees and shrubs are pruned, but also when planting takes place and bulbs are put in the ground. We are happy to help here! We also want to tackle invasive species.
There are many lakes and beautiful scenic areas that invite you to explore and relax after work! In autumn, there are also large migrations of cranes and geese, which rest and feed in large numbers on the nearby lakes. It would be possible to organise an excursion with an expert.
All work, whether in landscape conservation, crafts or creative design, takes place outdoors. We plan together on site, depending on the current weather conditions, on which days we do which work and which days we take off.

For activities in between, Drei Eichen with its terrain offers many opportunities to learn about plants and animals, nature conservation and alternative ways of life and to actively participate.
There are many great options for spending your free time. Among them are GPS tour(s) in the nature park, guided hikes on biodiversity, a visit to the bat museum, trips to surrounding lakes, going to the movies, visiting the pub "lokal." in Buckow, making a campfire; going to an artificial climbing forest or doing a canoe tour in the area. Those who long for more urban hustle and bustle on the weekend can also take a day trip to Berlin or even go to Poland, which is not that far away.
We plan together on site, depending on the current weather conditions, among other things, on which days we do what work and on which days we take off.

As a group, you will have a flat with kitchen, bathroom, toilet, lounge-kitchen, large balcony and 3 simple multi-bed rooms. You cook together. Money for shopping will be provided. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please indicate any intolerances when registering.
Requisiti e materiali
It helps if you have an interest in physical work and some strength. Please bring weatherproof and warm work clothes/long sleeves and pants, the work takes place outdoors. Shoes that can withstand water are good - outdoor boots or similar.
