I campi di volontariato si svolgono nella spiaggia dell’Isola dei Conigli, zona A di Riserva Naturale e sito di deposizione della tartaruga marina Caretta caretta. I campi hanno una duplice finalità: contribuire alla tutela della spiaggia, intensamente frequentata a fini balneari, in modo da garantire le condizioni ambientali idonee all’ovodeposizione di Caretta caretta, controllando l’impatto antropico sul sito; sorvegliare e proteggere i nidi di Caretta caretta, dalla deposizione alla schiusa. Questi campi sono una grande occasione per quanti, appassionati della natura, vogliono prendersene cura svolgendo attività utili ed entusiasmanti, in uno dei luoghi più belli di Lampedusa e del Mediterraneo, meritevole di essere salvaguardato per la sua bellezza e per la sua grande importanza naturalistica.
Lavoro
Il campo prevede lo svolgimento di turni giornalieri di 6 ore circa e, all’occorrenza, turni notturni di 8–10 ore. I turni giornalieri sono finalizzati al controllo della balneazione, mediante sorveglianza ed attività di informazione e sensibilizzazione dei bagnanti, in modo da far rispettare i regolamenti vigenti nella riserva. Dalle 8 alle 20.00 i volontari si alterneranno per coprire due postazioni fisse: una all'ingresso della Riserva e una sulla spiaggia. All'ingresso, i volontari forniranno informazioni ai visitatori e forniranno supporto agli operatori nelle attività di controllo degli accessi alla spiaggia. In spiaggia, i volontari sorveglieranno gli eventuali nidi deposti, saranno punto di riferimento per quanti vogliono conoscere la biologia riproduttiva di Caretta caretta e svolgeranno attività di sensibilizzazione nei confronti dei turisti (inviteranno al rispetto delle norme comportamentali da osservare, effettueranno la pulizia dell’arenile, ecc.). I volontari, inoltre, collaboreranno nelle attività di rilevamento dei dati sulla fruizione e saranno di sostegno agli operatori della riserva per il rilevamento dei dati sui nidi di tartaruga e sui piccoli. I turni notturni si svolgeranno presso la struttura ubicata all'ingresso della riserva e sono finalizzati ad impedire l’accesso in spiaggia di eventuali visitatori durante la notte, che potrebbero pregiudicare gli eventi di nidificazione della tartaruga. Durante le schiuse dei nidi i turni notturni si svolgeranno in spiaggia. I volontari parteciperanno anche alle attività di salvaguardia e sorveglianza (diurna e notturna) di eventuali nidi deposti in altre spiagge dell’isola che rientrano nelle competenze dell'Ente Gestore della Riserva. I volontari, a turno, si occuperanno anche della preparazione dei pasti e della pulizia dell’alloggio.

Molto più vicina all’Africa che alla Sicilia, Lampedusa appartiene all’Arcipelago delle Pelagie. Nel 1996 la Regione Siciliana ha istituito la Riserva Naturale “Isola di Lampedusa”, gestita da Legambiente Sicilia. L’area protetta si estende per circa 360 ettari lungo un’ampia fascia incontaminata della costa meridionale dell’isola ed è finalizzata alla conservazione delle espressioni più significative della fauna e della flora presenti sul territorio. La spiaggia dei Conigli è stata per anni oggetto di ogni forma di abuso e degrado, ma grazie agli interventi di recupero ambientale, controllo e sensibilizzazione dell’Ente Gestore oggi è un modello di gestione e promozione di un turismo sostenibile, che ha saputo coniugare conservazione della natura con la fruizione del territorio.

Attività formative
All’inizio di ogni campo i volontari parteciperanno ad un incontro formativo presso la sede della Riserva (tenuto dal personale della Riserva), durante il quale verranno fornite le principali informazioni sull’area protetta (storia, caratteristiche, regolamento, ecc.), sulla biologia della tartaruga marina e sulle attività che si svolgeranno durante il campo.

I volontari saranno ospitati in un appartamento ubicato in centro.
Requisiti e materiali
Il campo è particolarmente impegnativo, poiché prevede una turnazione continua per garantire il controllo del sito h24. Buona attitudine a camminare; buone condizioni fisiche, capacità di svolgere le attività anche con particolari condizioni climatiche (essere in grado di trascorrere diverse ore sotto il sole, ma anche in presenza di vento, umidità, pioggia, zanzare…).

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
• Volunteers will stay in a homestead with very basic living conditions.
• Volunteers have an obligation to climb down the level of the people with the aim of exposure to development challenges.
• KVDA will provide foodstuffs and volunteers will cook their own meals in turns.
• Water is available from springs and it is recommended that drinking water should be boiled or medicated. Mineral water available at supermarkets is also recommended.
• There is no electricity connection at the project but volunteers can charge their electric appliances at the nearest market center.
• However, the Government policy to install ICT in primary schools has seen connectivity to the national power grid for most educational institutions in Kenya and this makes it easy for volunteers to use electric appliances while at the project.
• Furthermore, we invite you to bring typical food, spices, drinks, games and music from your country (for an intercultural evening) – and a lot of motivation!

• Shining Star ECDC and Orphans School is located in Migori County, Nyatike Sub-county, Muhuru division, Muhuru -East location in Tagache Sub-location, along Muhuru-Migori road.
• The School was founded in 1999 by Mr. Hevrone Killmess Mairah due to lack of access to educational institutions in the area due to its remote setting, challenges posed by orphans the majority of whose parents are ravaged by HIV/AIDS pandemic and the high illiteracy levels within the community coupled high unemployment.
• In 2000, the school had a good number of children and 3 teachers and the community enjoyed the being of Shining Star.
• In 2001 the school was temporarily closed due to the conflict within the local community until 2002 when this was resolved and the community agreed to host the School at the local Church due to lack of classroom buildings.
• 2003 the land was bought and demarcation done.
• In 2005 the first classroom was built by a volunteer called Steffi Rahn a 19-year old from SCI-Germany.
• 2009 started hosting volunteers from KVDA courtesy of the Germany Government sponsored program “Weltwaerts” that afforded young Germans an opportunity to volunteer in Kenya for the duration of one year.
• 2011 Shining Star was registered with the Kenyan Government as a learning institution.
• 2012 started building dormitory for both orphans and those having parents with the help of former KVDA volunteer from Germany named Daniel, which structure has since been completed.
• 2013 the School started goat farming and poultry farming that is still underway. It also set aside space for an orphanage home and new toilets that are already finished.
• There are more plans in the pipeline e.g. Agriculture, Business loaning for the widows and youths, competitive sports between local clubs and the School where trophies, balls and other gifts will be awarded to the participating teams
• The School has a population of over 360 children, 11 teachers and 5 support staff.
• The School has classes from Kindergarten to Standard eight.
• Shining Star ECDC and Orphans School is a community based education institution and caters for the needs of the orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) that had been rendered destitute.
• Fishing is the mainstay of the local community thanks to the expansive Lake Victoria.
• Due to the easy cash courtesy of the Lake, young people have been lured to drop out of School to engage in fishing and this has negatively impacted on the community since it has resulted in early marriages, school drop outs, early and unplanned pregnancies not forgetting the spread of HIV/AIDS that has resulted in increased number of OVC’s in the community.
• Community empowerment is crucial in achieving the overall objective of attaining sustainable development.

• This year 2015, the School has launched the secondary school section with the first students’ intake launched in February 2015.

On site are a kitchen, shower, toilets, and a common room; one of the rooms will be converted into a dormitory. Our association is a living space that welcomes people from all walks of life every year. In 2023, this space for learning and experimentation inaugurated an associative canteen called ?Au bout du monde?. This project will involve continuing work to improve the outside entrance, so that visitors feel welcome and can easily find their way around. You'll be able to learn traditional masonry techniques for around 4 hours each morning. You'll take it in turns to help out with everyday tasks, including cooking, tending the garden and cleaning communal areas.

Afternoons and weekends will be devoted to leisure activities. You'll work with the activity leaders to organize and propose activities. Some activities are a must: visiting Besancon, team sports, all kinds of fun activities...

You'll be accommodated in our association's park, where we'll set up large collective tents (8 to 16 places). You'll sleep in a bunk bed. Bring a good comforter and your pillow! You'll have access to the house showers and toilets. There are also dry toilets outside. The site is equipped with a professional kitchen. Accompanied by the animators, your group will take turns preparing meals each day. At Beaumotte, we eat meat twice a week, and wifi access is limited in certain rooms of the house. There's no washing machine, so you'll need to bring your own washing powder and clothes for 15 days!

The community of Vellexon would like to establish a space for social connections in the heart of their town. To make it possible, this year we're continuing with the creation of a place that should soon host exchanges focused on solidarity and intergenerational links. To contribute to this development, you will be renovating the paving (floor) of the wash-house which is located next to this square for around 6 hours per day. You will learn techniques of traditional masonry (wall-building). There is no knowledge required! You will evolve as a team with the help of two leaders, sharing all tasks associated with collective life such as, cooking, cleaning, after work activities, etc.

The community of Vellexon-Queutrey-et-Vaudey (70130) is situated at 25km from Gray(70100), 30km from Vesoul (70000) and 50km from Besancon (25000) in the region ?Haute-Saone?.
May it be during the afternoons or the weekends, it will be your group that initiates and organizes the activities for the free time. The ideal programme will take into account the wishes of everybody, the local possibilities (hikes, local artists, summer concerts, ?chateaux?, etc) and the financial side of things.
You can also rely on the support of the villagers to organize moments of exchange, and they will be delighted to share with you and to give advice on how to best discover the local environment and enjoy your stay.

The commune will provide two areas especially for your group: the first will be dedicated to sleeping, with communal rooms for three or four people mixed-gender, with mattresses provided by the local population. Please bring your own covers, pillows or sleeping bags. The second space is a multi-purpose room with a kitchen, ideal for meals and socializing. Showers and laundry will be done in the homes of the locals. The worksite is only three minutes away by foot and for other trips like going shopping or visiting the surroundings, the locals will be gladly willing to help out.
Accompanied by the camp leaders, you will make the menu and prepare the meals each day, in turn. The budget is approx. 5? per day and person. There will be the possibility to eat vegetarian or vegan and plan accordingly, if necessary. Often you will share meals with the villagers giving you the opportunity to discover the local gastronomy and to share special moments together.

There are absolutely no requirements in terms of linguistic or technical abilities. Just be aware that you need to carry relatively small stones for the actual work.

Together we would like to build new furniture for the rooms in our guest house for children and youth groups. We will be sawing, drilling, screwing and hammering with professional tools and machines under the expert guidance of a carpenter. During your stay, there will also be other groups at the youth centre with whom you can sit around the campfire in the evening and chat.
We are delighted that a group of young people from the region with different disabilities and abilities will be part of the project. Together with the international volunteers, we are forming small teams that can support each other, learn from each other and grow together in the tasks. These mentorships enable an inclusive exchange in which everyone can contribute their individual str engths. Our aim is to create an open and respectful atmosphere in which all participants can actively take part in the work camp and gain new experiences.

Jugendhof Bessunger Forst e.V. is located on the edge of the forest between the city of Darmstadt and the village of Roßdorf. The suburban area marks the transition from the Rhine-Main region to the Odenwald low mountain range and is located 30 kilometres south of Frankfurt am Main and 50 kilometres north of the picturesque city of Heidelberg.
The Jugendhof is located on the edge of the Bessunger Forest, which is easy to explore from here. On hot summer days, the shady forest offers a good opportunity to cool off and the wide-open meadows invite you to enjoy a relaxing picnic. You can enjoy meetings in a wooden yurt, which was built from an international workcamp as well. An hour's walk through the woods and meadows takes you to a beautiful bathing lake with a small sandy beach. Darmstadt is also very interesting culturally, as it was one of the centres of European Art Nouveau at the beginning of the 20th century. The “Mathildenhöhe Artists Colony” in Darmstadt has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021. We highly recommend a visit to the impressive and unique site, including the museum and the Orthodox chapel. Fancy more action? Then visit the climbing park high up in the trees with its very different levels of difficulty.

The volunteers live in our centrally located self-catering house ‘Sharewood Lodge’. In addition to a spacious kitchen and two bathrooms, there are three bedrooms in the house, each with five beds. In general, the buildings on the extensive grounds allow for all-day outdoor living.

After registration, we require a self-declaration in terms of legal protection for children and vulnerable persons. You will need working clothes, rainwear and, if necessary, swimming gear as well as sturdy closed shoes. Since it can get very cold in the forest at night, even in summer, please bring warm clothes and don't forget your sunscreen. Bed linen will be provided by the house. Please bring your own towels.

Bánk is a tiny village in Nógrád County, centered around the not-so-tiny Lake Bánk. It has everything a lakeside village might need: a small store, a tobacco shop, a pizzeria, a pub, a few hotels and motels, and a lakeside eatery. However, there is no ATM, local shops have a limited selection, and during the festival, the village can get quite crowded—so if you have any special needs, be sure to bring what you’ll need!
Bánkitó Festival has been a part of the town for 13 years, primarily around the Lakeshore and the Camp. Over the years, it has expanded to the Reeds and the Meadow, creating a unique atmosphere. The lake, the charming wooden cabins, and the hidden venues tucked away in small forest clearings all contribute to Bánkitó’s distinctive character. All of this takes place in the scenic surroundings of Lake Bánk, just a one-hour drive or a leisurely half-day bike ride from Budapest.

Every year, the best underground bands, theatres, and the majority of the NGO scene gather in a small lakeside village in Hungary. Participate in the country’s leading socially conscious small festival as a volunteer!
Bánkitó is Hungary’s biggest independent, socially conscious, cultural and community festival with a wide range of programmes throughout its three days (9-12 July 2025) in the summer from music through theatre to contemporary art. It offers concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, civil initiatives, workshops, and round-table discussions about social justice issues, human rights, and the experiences and cultures of minorities. It takes place at Bánkitó, a small Hungarian village 60kms away from Budapest.
The music at the festival is progressive, contemporary, and constantly renewing, with the newest and most exciting bands of the Hungarian music scene. The civil/cultural programs always poke at important and actual topics, working towards understanding society’s issues with activists from NGOs, musicians, actors, and artists. Contemporary Hungarian theatre pieces will be showcased, and Hungary’s most exciting contemporary artists will transform the shores of Lake Bánk into an art exhibition.

Volunteers will be involved in weeding and planting new vegetation in the gardens, feeding llamas and sheep by preparing and delivering their food, enhancing animal enclosures through painting and cladding shelters, mowing grass to create new spaces and building fences. They'll also help painting fences, preparing for a final outdoor cultural event, setting up tents and organizing the space. If the weather doesn't cooperate, volunteers will assist with cleaning stables and maintaining farm buildings, ensuring there's always meaningful work to be done.

Location: Rochlov is a small traditional village in western Bohemia with only 310 inhabitants. There is a supermarket, a restaurant and a coffee-roasting plant. Phone coverage is good. ATMs and pharmacies are located only in nearby villages. Nevertheless, it is no problem to take the volunteers there by car if they need to. The closest biggest city is Pilsen.
Leisure time: Volunteers can go for a trip to the lake or dam. There is an improvised gym, darts and many beautiful routes for cycling or running. Volunteers can also enjoy a campfire, have a beer together, or simply relax. There is a football field and a makeshift gym nearby. Men can participate in training with the local futsal team.
Study part: Through trips and excursions to nearby towns and villages (Marianske Lazne, Utery, Cheb, Chotesov), volunteers will be introduced to West Bohemia and its rather complex history. Volunteers will also visit Pilsen and its famous brewery and museum of Pilsner Urquell.

Volunteers will be accommodated in two buildings approximately 70 metres apart. One building has 2 rooms with 2 beds, a kitchen with a small fridge and a bathroom with a shower. The other building has 2 beds and a shared bathroom with a shower and a kitchen. A washing machine is also available. Wi-Fi included. Volunteers need to bring their towels. Some meals will be cooked by the volunteers themselves. Some will be prepared at a local restaurant. Volunteers can get coffee or tea from the coffee-roasting plant.

Each day of the camp will have a program completed by local coordinators and the volunteers will be helping to realize it. The main activities will be intercultural learning through finding differences and similarities between Estonia and countries, where volunteers come from (history, traditions, language, singing, dancing). It will be done through games, drama, sport, discussions. We expect that volunteers would lead a workshop connected with their culture (traditional dances, games, everyday life, food specialities, etc.) It can be educational one or as a game to play. Taevaskoja is located in South-Estonia, about 220 km from Tallinn. The camp site is very close to the one of the most popular natural touristic place - Suur Taevaskoda (The Large Heaven s Hall), surrounded by beautiful forest and close to the one of the longest rivers in Estonia. Such location brings children closer to unspoiled nature and gives them an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with Estonian national heritage richly presented in the area. Nanortalik is located on the island of Nanortalik at the mouth of the Tasermiut fjord. Nanortalik is the most southern town in Greenland but is still approx. 100 km away northwest from the southernmost point, Cape Farewell (Kap Farvel). The town was founded as a trading post in 1797 but was moved to its current location in 1830. Nanortalik is the smallest of three towns in the Municipality of Kujalleq.
Fishing and catching have long been the main occupation in Nanortalik, but in recent years, occupations such as tourism and mining have grown, as Greenland's only gold mine can be found near Nanortalik. By January 1st, 2025, there are 1,078 inhabitants in the town, of which 266 are under the age of 18, corresponding to 24.7 % of the population.
Clothing:
The average temperatures in Nanortalik in June/July are between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius. Therefor it is good to have layers of clothing (inner layers preferably of wool), gloves and headbands.
Language:
It is required that you speak English.
The main languages in Nanortalik are Greenlandic and Danish but many children speak English as well.

Qeqertarsuaq is a small town on Disko Island, off the west coast of Greenland. It is known for its stunning natural scenery, including basalt mountains, lush Arctic vegetation, and rich wildlife. The town was founded in 1773 and has a history rooted in whaling and fishing. Today, it is a hub for scientific research and tourism, offering activities like hiking, dog sledding, and whale watching. Qeqertarsuaq is also home to the Arctic Station, a research facility operated by the University of Copenhagen.

For the Summer Camp to run smoothly, we very much rely on volunteers, who are interested in helping with different practicalities. Your important effort will make a very positive change for the participants, as you will contribute to the framework of the Table Tennis Camp, which aims at empowering people, developing their skills, and bringing them together towards their common passion for table tennis.
The camp is especially good for you if you like to engage with people in a very international environment, and if you are interested in improving your teamwork and problem-solving skills because the work requires that you adapt to changes quickly.
When it comes to the specific tasks, there will be a rotation between them to make the days vary for all volunteers. These different tasks include assisting in the kitchen, with all practicalities such as cooking and serving the food to the other camp participants. Similar tasks include helping with cleaning assistance or driving shuttle buses to and from the airport, train station, and ferry terminals. Other tasks could be overseeing activities with the camp participants and the smallest children and finally helping in the administration with check-in, check-out, and room preparations.
It will also be possible to be a sparring partner in the Table Tennis Camp and interact with the camp participants. Therefore, it would be an advantage if you enjoy playing table tennis and would like to practice it some more, but no experience is needed. We welcome people at all levels! In addition, it will be possible for you to continue playing table tennis in your free time.
The program
As a volunteer, your work week will consist of 5 working days and 2 days off, though these days will be rotating between you. This means that you might have to work at the weekend, but then you will have time off during the week. Your workday will be no more than 7 hours, and you will be working with local volunteers. Work starts in the morning and the afternoon. Some tasks, like being a part of the administration or driving team, mean you must work at different times during the day.

During your three-week stay in Northern Jutland, you will also have time to explore the unique nature and interesting attractions in Denmark.
Your Work Camp leaders will help you and the group with organizing these activities in your spare time. It is free to enjoy the beautiful nature of Northern Jutland, but some activities such as museums and galleries might require an extra charge. The host will not cover additional charges.
The Work Camp will be taking place remarkably close to the beach, so there are incredibly good opportunities to go for a swim. It is also very much possible to explore the nearby towns by going sightseeing or shopping. For instance, you can arrange a day trip to Skagen, which is the Northern tip of Denmark where the two oceans meet. Skagen is especially famous for its special light, which has attracted many painters, yellow and red houses, art galleries, delicious seafood, and much more. You can also take a day trip to Aalborg, the third biggest city in Denmark, where you find a large variety of shopping opportunities while enjoying the cozy atmosphere in the iconic and old streets of Aalborg.

Sleeping + bathroom facilities:
The volunteers will be sleeping in classrooms at the local school. There will be mattresses, pillows, and bedding. The school is within walking distance from the Work Camp. It only takes a few minutes to get there. The bathrooms are next to the classrooms where you will be sleeping.
Meals + kitchen facilities:
All Work Camp participants eat in the canteen with all the other participants. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided by the Work Camp host.

Intercultural and Language (ICL) – Nakhon Ratchasima, learning and sharing the
intercultural and language still are the main purpose. Volunteers will share and exchange
culture, language, and knowledge with the local community and students in the school.
English as the global language and intercultural learning are important for local Thai people
to understand and be for global citizens. English is also the gateway to open mind and
knowledge. The project was created by VSA Thailand and has been successful for eight
years. Former volunteers came to give the opportunity for children in schools and the local
community. Many local people improved their English skills through exchanging with
international volunteers, or at least they try to speak the English language more and dare
to face and work with the foreigner even though they cannot speak English. Moreover,
volunteers’ activities impacted the local community. They used to stay lively and trusty
with the foreigner. Local people have a chance to learn, accept, and adopt the ways of life
with the different cultures.
Ban Krogluek School is a primary school, there are about 10 teachers and 100 students from
kindergarten (2-6 years old), pratomsuksa 1-6 (7-12 years old). VSA has sent volunteers
to this School since 2015.

I temi Pace - Rifugiati - Stranieri sono declinati a partire dalla storia del campo di Fossoli, con una particolare attenzione alla fase più cruenta della guerra e dell’occupazione nazista e al periodo post-bellico. La settimana di volontariato si concentrerà sulla storia locale ed europea rispetto alle stragi di civili e alla difficile gestione di sfollati ed esuli, cercando di tracciare un collegamento con il tempo presente. La settimana si concluderà con le celebrazioni e le diverse attività legate a ricordare l’assassinio di 67 prigionieri del Campo di Fossoli, trucidati all’alba del 12 luglio 1944, con un colpo alla nuca.
La Seconda Guerra Mondiale estende le sue conseguenze molto oltre l’estate del
1945: nella sola Europa, milioni di persone devono affrontare spostamenti forzati,
distruzione e miseria. Il Campo di Fossoli, dopo la conclusione del conflitto,
si trasforma in abitazioni prima per orfani e successivamente per esuli istriani.
Lavoro
Il lavoro dei volontari consisterà in una attività di pulizia dai rifiuti all'interno e all'esterno del campo, nonché nel supporto all'organizzazione della giornata di commemorazione dell'eccidio di civili al Poligono di tiro del 12 luglio 1944, che si terrà nel weekend. Il supporto consisterà per lo più in attività di allestimento. I partecipanti al campo di volontariato si sposteranno in bicicletta.

Il campo si svolgerà nei luoghi di Carpi gestiti dalla Fondazione Fossoli che comprendono oltre al Campo di Fossoli situato a circa sei km dal centro, il Museo Monumento al Deportato Politico e Razziale e la ex Sinagoga in centro città.

Ai partecipanti sarà offerta dalla Fondazione Fossoli un'attività pomeridiana laboratoriale/formativa sui temi del progetto, distribuita nella settimana su tutti i luoghi della memoria.

Il Circolo Terre d'Argine APS sin dal 1984 si occupa delle tematiche ambientali che riguardano l'omonima Unione dei comuni del territorio. In particolare si è battuto per contrastare il consumo di suolo, per promuovere la raccolta differenziata domiciliare dei rifiuti, per la mobilità alternativa alla gomma, nonché organizzando una vasta attività di plogging.
La Fondazione Fossoli dal 1996 si occupa della diffusione della memoria storica mediante la conservazione, il recupero e la valorizzazione dell'ex campo di transito di Fossoli, del Museo Monumento al Deportato Politico e Razziale e delle ex Sinagoghe in Carpi. Svolge attività a carattere divulgativo, didattico e scientifico, rivolte in particolare alle scuole e ai giovani sui temi della memoria, nonché dei diritti umani, della pace e dell'educazione interculturale.

The camp will focus on the volunteers to understand the social and cultural aspects of the community they work. The volunteers will be given experience through interactions, workshops exchange of ideas, need analysis with the support of the team leader, planning and being a part of completing the scheduled work with the group of volunteers to the benefit of the community

The camp will consist of community service, Learning, Culture and evaluation.

Palampur, the Tea Capital of North India is famous for its beautiful tea gardens, which are a natural scenic sight. Tea lovers can pick up some handcrafted, fresh mountain teas here. Some of the teas available are Black Teas, White Teas, Oolong Teas, Green Teas and Tisanes.

Kulluoba Mound is a prehistoric settlement on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Volunteers will be helping the professional excavation team will take part in unearthing the history, and also will be helping the environmental arrangement and cleaning of the site, maintenance, basic repairing work, and landscaping.
Due to the hot weather in the summer months, excavations usually start at early morning and end between 2 pm and 3 pm. There maybe changes in working program hours. The exact program will be available till the summer season. Due to the hot weather, work starts early in the morning and ends in the afternoon. Precautions such as sun-proof awnings are in place.
You are not expected to be experienced in this archaeological study, where you can witness history up close.

Kulluoba Mound is 30 km away from Eskisehir, a student city. Eskisehir is one of the modern student cities of Turkey. It can be easily reached by high-speed train from Ankara and Istanbul. Eskisehir is famous for its social life as it is a student city. Volunteers will participate in various cultural trips in Eskisehir and will be able to evaluate their social time with group activities.

Volunteers will stay in the lodging belonging to the excavation directorate. There is a toilet, bathroom, kitchen and dining hall. Since the excavation area is far from the city, Volunteers can watch the stars on dark nights. Meals for the volunteers will be provided by the municipality. Sometimes volunteers can prepare meals together.

The camp is designed as a place for socializing, mutual communication and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities with volunteers from the regular population, who come from different cultures and environments.
Volunteers will work in the "Oasis" on everyday activities with the users of the house. Main activities are activities that the users also engage in daily life: maintenance and arrangement of work and living space; tidying up the yard and plot; pulling weeds (not that one, hehe) and working in the garden (planting, hoeing, watering, crop care and harvesting); sorting of the obtained fruits and vegetables - separation for feeding in the camp, for distribution to socially disadvantaged members of the local community, for livestock and for compost; feeding of animals and maintenance of premises where animals stay; emptying recycling containers with PET packaging, pressing the packaging, visiting vulnerable families from the local community.
The part of the camp will be dedicated to the artistic decoration of the wall in the garden.

The camp would take place in Golubinci (a village/town in the municipality of Stara Pazova), 8 km from the town of Stara Pazova. The town has about 5,000 inhabitants, it is a multicultural environment, the majority of the population is of the Orthodox faith, but the Catholic population is also very represented. In the center of the town there are Orthodox and Catholic churches, a supermarket, a post office, a school, a kindergarten, a health center, cafes... It is interesting that the castle Schloss (from the 18th century) is located there, which is accompanied by stories about curses, infidelities and punishments. It has significant architectural and historical value because Karađorđe Petrović (leader of I Serbian uprising against Ottomans) and composer Ludwig Van Beethoven (famous composer, hehe) stayed there.
Various manifestations are held in the town itself throughout the year: Cat Festival (masquerade ball and carnival), Days of Rosemary, Earth Day... During the volunteers' stay, the celebration of Petrovdan - the holiday of the place - will be held, during which numerous outdoor activities will be organized and a fair which is enjoyed by all the locals.
Pearls of Serbia, Novi Sad and Belgrade, are well connected to Stara Pazova (by train 20 minutes both), so visits to those places can be organized easily.
We just recommend you to bring patience and smile and it will be one great memorable adventure!

Camp Oasis Golubinci gathers people of good will who are ready to help and provide support in life and work to adults with developmental disabilities. Oasis Golubinci is a living and working community for people with disabilities, and in the Oasis itself there is accommodation for volunteers and users. Volunteers will be accommodated in houses that have all the necessary equipment (sufficient number of bathrooms, kitchen, dining room), in double and triple rooms. All houses/accommodation units are in the same yard, so volunteers are directed to each other, although they may be in separate houses.
Given that there are 4 different kitchens, volunteers will be participating in the preparation of food and the association can provide the necessary food, according to capabilities. Everybody will be provided with bedding.

There are no specific requirements, but if you want to make your life easier, prepare adequate clothes, a good mosquito repellent and shoes for working outside.

Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. ProgramThere are diverse activities in the camp program: canoeing, water scootering, running ATV, paintball in the forest, sport games - football, rugby, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, archery, frisbee, disc-golf, trampolines, different competitions, forest cross, sport orientation in the forest on and on sea (navigation), fishing, Viking boats, bicycle trips to explore the area, visit to the horse farm with horse riding, excursions historical places of interest in the area, active games and adventure trail in Roosta Adventure Park, picnics on a seaside, building sand and stones castles on the beach, Estonian sauna party, etc. Bikes are available for the whole camp duration free of charge. WorkThere will be also some voluntary work such as painting of community buildings, making wooden toys and games for local orphanage, repairing benches and tables, cleaning local beach and old local park from garbage, planting trees, little renovation works in the local school, clearing pavement, helping seniors living in the community with some household duties, preparing fire woods for heating, berries and herbs picking to give the crop to the orphanage and seniors home, duty in a kitchen and around the camp once in a shift, etc. The work will be organised in cooperation with local forestry department, municipality of Nova and local school. Please note that the work described above is planned for the whole summer and it may change from one shift to another depending on local needs, the season and weather conditions.

AccommodationIn wooden huts set by the local school nearby the seaside (500 m away). Please bring your sleeping bag and mat. Showers, toilets are provided in the school and there will be additional bio-toilets set on camping site. You can have traditional Estonian sauna every dayCateringMeals are served 3 times a day. There are water machines with cold water in the school complex. Catering takes place in the schools mess hall or into the lager tent outside near the mess. Meals are cooked by professional cooks. Special requirementsParticipants have to be sporty (e.g. be ready to run up to 3 km, bike up to 30 km), independent enough, curious and interested in active life style. Please inform us beforehand about allergies, dietary requirements you have or others prescriptions from your doctor. Please bring sleeping bag and mat, wind and waterproof clothes, goods shoes, warm and summer clothes. It s advisable to take thermal underwear. If possible, please take tick vaccination before coming. Generally, age of participants is 14-17, however exceptions are possible. NB Smoking, drinking alcohol, using drugs is absolutely prohibited in the camp and this policy will be followed strictly Thus, if you cannot quit smoking for a while it is probably better not to come. Camp common language is English. Local languages are Estonian and Russian.Participation feeUnlike the normal camp there will be not too much of work here. Nevertheless, participants will be provided with board, lodging, local transportation and all equipment necessary to realize camp program. Besides, program involves a lot of extra costs for excursions, trips out, visits, sport activities, equipment, materials and general administration and leadership. Since neither EstYES nor its local camp partner, does not receive financial support for this camp from municipality or private sources, to realize this camp we have to charge participation fee of 500 Euro, which covers all camp and program costs including transfer from Tallinn to and from the camp, and which has to be paid by bank transfer before the camp or by participants upon arrival to the camp. The bank details will be provided after the acceptance of the participant to the camp. NB Participants coming from outside Europe are asked to consult with us before paying fee by bank transfer to reduce high banking charges.

This camp is organized for teenagers by youth sport club Lukas-Basket which has been running national youth camps for 25 years and International ones for the past 12 years. International teenage camps will be hosted on seaside in the West of Estonia in Laanemaa County in the municipality of Nova. Beautiful nature, numerous historical places, 200 years long tradition of health resort, unique cultural events are the treasures of the County. Nova with warm sea, white sand, mushroom and berry crops, picturesque lakes, cobble stone road and many places of interest is ideal place for leisure. The aim of Nova camp is to give young people possibility to have active, healthy and meaningful summer vacations with different sport adventures, to enjoy unspoiled nature and to learn to live in harmony with it, also to explore and realize their own capacities and limits. The program will include water activities, sport and ball games, eco-hikes, bicycle trips to places of interest, horse riding, fishing, rowing, acquaintance with local culture and many other exciting things. Mens sana in corpore sano (Healthy Spirit in Healthy Body) i this is the message of the camp Besides all this, camp gives possibility for intensive contacts between local youth and their peers from abroad, showing youngsters the diversity of world cultures, broadening their horizons and encouraging active communication through games and creative activities. Finally, there will be some voluntary work for nature protection and to support local community. The area of the camp is about 3 hectares and it can host over 60 youngsters on one shift. The age of local participants is 10-18. Local teenagers are mainly Russian-speaking of minority communities of Estonia.
