Participants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, walking around and exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant are selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods and laptops if possible.While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture by taking part in it, capturing it and also by displaying their work during the camp. One of our objectives is to empower young people to use photography to draw attention to environmental and cultural subjects and issues.Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible time schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.

SEEDS participants stay in a house in Reykjavik. The facilities are basic with an equipped kitchen, dining and living room, bathrooms, showers and a washing machine. Everyone is expected to show consideration for their companions. Participants sleep in shared rooms of up to 6 people. Bring your own towel. Participants will receive food supplies and be in charge of the cooking and cleaning activities. Please note the food SEEDS provides will be vegetarian. Do not forget to bring some traditional/typical food, drinks, recipes, music or games from your country for the intercultural evening. Please be aware some items or ingredients may be expensive in Iceland and you will need to buy them yourselves or bring them from your country.

This is the eighteenth year (since 2008) that SEEDS organises a series of International Photography projects and we started organising these camps for teenagers in the year 2010. Throughout the year, participants from all over the world come to Iceland for an immersive photography-related learning camp. SEEDS coordinators help the participants to develop their unique photographic skills through workshops and feedback sessions on technical settings, compositional considerations, as well as to create conceptual frameworks highlighting the participants individual style.

Maki and Tateya and grow animals and vegetables in an ecological, organic way.
Maki is located in a very isolated area (not accessible for cars and we have to walk 4 km in the mountains!), so it once became an abandon village in 1970s and then, was revived by Kyodo Gakusha. Over 10 people incl. 2 families were living till several years ago, but less and less in these years (almost nobody in the winter), so vols. are needed even more!
*Outcome of this workcamp: In 2023, we had 4 short term workcamps and 1 LMTV project with 13 vols. who greatly contributed to their protecting the houses, farming and caring animals that was difficult to finish by the time they needed without volunteers! Help promote the Cote d'Azur stone heritage !
This year, the commune of Sospel invites you to make an active contribution to the restoration of the Chateau de l'Agaisen site, located on lands that host stays for minors, people with disabilities and soft tourism activities.
You'll have the opportunity to take part in the restoration of the site's restanques, but also in the development of an olive grove and the preservation of a unique hydraulic heritage, with its catchment basins and irrigation canals.
Your mission: Contribute to the creation of a floating staircase linking the two levels of the site. You'll build stone steps to facilitate movement and improve access to this historic area.
You'll also be helping to build a retaining wall some 20 m long and 1.60 m high. Initially, you'll be in charge of clearing and demarcating the construction area, using the picks and shovels provided. You will then sort the stones before starting to build the low wall.
By joining this project, you'll be supporting the Loisir Cote d'Azur association in its aim to make the site accessible to the young people they're targeting. Join us in preserving an exceptional heritage!

Sospel is a French commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department and located in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur (06) region.
The ?Chateau de l'Agaisen? site is located a few kilometers from the village of Sospel.
The grounds are mainly devoted to accommodations for minors and the disabled, and to soft tourism activities such as hiking and heritage discovery. Around the castle, you will find many terraces and olive trees.

The ?Loisirs Sejour Cote d'Azur Sospel? association will take care of your accommodation ! You'll be staying in the outdoor area of the site, with access to toilets, showers and a large communal kitchen.
Meals will be prepared collectively, and you'll be able to enjoy them in an outdoor facility. You?ll cook in pairs or trios, providing a learning opportunity with a strong intercultural dimension ! A recipe book will be provided to support responsible purchasing and sustainable eating. You will be accompanied by three animators. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you'll participate in grocery-shopping and the preparation of meals, giving priority to healthy, local and vegetarian products.
Requisiti e materiali
Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

ProgramCamp program includes team projects, discussions at the round table, social and sport games, performances in the open air, actions for peace and nature protection, meetings with people, visits to museums and sightseeing as well as presentations of the countries that camp participants and volunteers represent, etc. Every day the camp will have a country presentation, a subject to learn or discuss and a related activity. Teenagers will stay in the camp activities zone from 10:00 to 17:00. There will be one day off in the camp and at least one day of travel outside Tallinn. The day off is spent either under the leadership of a member of the school staff or in the host family. Camp activities will take place in the premises of the language school that is situated in the very centre of the city. To activate teenagers and run the program, there will be a group of international volunteers and members of the local school staff. Longer camp shifts include one trip outside Tallinn.

AccommodationThere are 2 options possible (subject to availability, which will become clear by the beginning of the camp):1) In the premises of The Language School In Down-Town located on the 4th and 5th floors of a business building in the city centre. In summer time, a part of the school is reserved for the camp participants accommodation that includes several separate dormitory bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a large shower area and two separate toilet cabins. Apart from bedrooms, the tea-room for rest will be also organized where teenagers might watch films, read and play board games enjoying soft sofas. Bed linen, pillows and blankets will be provided, so you do NOT need to bring a sleeping bag unless you want so. For the reasons of security, minimum one school staff member and one volunteer will be staying with camp participants overnights to maintain life, catering and general order on the site. To facilitate a smooth and safe environment at school during the off-hours, the entrance to the school must be kept closed at all times. The access to the school and accommodation areas will be managed by long-term volunteers or school staff. Please be aware that you must be inside by 22:00 the latest unless supervised outside by a school staff member. Participants will have breakfasts and dinners at school, lunches i together with other camp participants.2) In the host families of some of local participants who will join this camp. The apartments of the host families may be located in Tallinn or its suburbs. Participants will stay in a separate or shared room. You do NOT need a sleeping bag. Participants will have breakfasts and dinners in their host families, lunches i together with other camp participants in the city. Travel cards will be provided, pick up service at arrival is provided upon request.Please note: it is not possible to stay at any of the camp accommodation options before or after the camp arrival and departure days. If you need a place to stay before or after the camp dates, we can help you to book a hostel in Tallinn.

Special requirementsWe will welcome any ideas to improve the program and your active participation in it. English is the camp language. The age of international camp participants is 14 i 16. Please be aware that during the day program of the camp the participants will be asked to leave their cell phones at their accommodation site to ensure safety of the participants and their engagement with the camp activities. To assure a safe environment for all the campers, we expect all our camp participants will provide their parents letter of consent (Parental Authorization) and travel insurance certificate.Participation feeUnlike the traditional voluntary camp, there will be mostly informal educational activities and guided language practice. Camp program implementation involves costs for boarding and lodging, domestic transport, materials, excursions, visits, cultural activities and general administration. Since neither EstYES, nor its partner ALPS receive any financial support for this camp from state or municipality, to make the camp happen we have to charge a participation fee from 350 to 600 Euro depending on the duration of the camp shift. This is a separate fee that is different from your country sending organization s fee you pay at home. It has to be paid by participants upon arrival to the camp or by bank transfer prior to the start of the camp. If you prefer fee to be paid in cash on arrival please contact us.

International language camp is organized for teenagers by The Language School In Down-Town and the non-profit educational association Alternative Language Programs Satellite (ALP S) as part of their annual activities on multicultural issues for youth. The project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to the youth and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication by means of alternative English language practice which includes meetings, visits and direct contacts to young people from abroad. The project gets teens of 14 to 16 years old familiar with national traditions of the countries from all over the world, encourages them to develop their global thinking and individual initiative, tolerance and resistance to xenophobia and ethnic hatred. Camps give foreign participants a great chance to meet youngsters both from Estonia and other countries as well as to experience local life. This summer we offer you to participate in our project called KALEIDOSCOPE . We invite camp participants to discuss ideas of chaos and order, mess and harmony. Together, we will discover our own infinite potential and freedom to create new patterns of life, same way as we create patterns out of random single pieces of colourful glass twisting a kaleidoscope. We will learn how to find harmony in apparent disorder and use chaos as a tool for stress relief, how to turn imperfection into the source of true beauty and embrace uncertainty to make our life journey more successful, unique and vibrant. Camp participants will gain ideas and skills how to deal with a million of combinations of the world s reality.Meetings with local and/or international professionals in the field will take place. Thematic photo and video contests for camp participants will be organized.

The TOTEM association welcomes you to an international work camp in sunny Le Pradet, where you can join other volunteers on a project to set up a wildlife care center and preserve local biodiversity.
The project is located in the commune of Le Pradet, on land belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral, and includes 2 buildings to be completely renovated to become care buildings.

Your volunteer work will be punctuated by a variety of activities: discovering the region and its specialties, hiking, swimming in the sea, lake or river, nature sports, meeting locals... and much more!

Accommodation will be either hard-standing or in tents, depending on the weather and the group's wishes. The kitchen area and toilets will be hard-standing inside the building.
You will take it in turns to prepare meals, in pairs or triples.
A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you'll take part in shopping and meal preparation, giving priority to healthy, local produce. A recipe booklet will be provided to encourage responsible purchasing and sustainable eating.

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. ACCOMMODATION & FOOD: Accommodation is in tents with bedding provided. Food is ‘Canteen style’ with a limited choice but with a vegetarian option. Three meals a day are provided, which includes a cooked breakfast and / or cereals, lunch and a cooked evening meal. Meals are at set times.
IMPORTANT: – Even in the British Summertime it can be VERY COLD AT NIGHT – please ensure you bring enough warm clothes. Wet weather clothing and footwear is also strongly recommended, as the site can get muddy and even the summer can bring a rainy day.

Located a few hundred meters from the festival in Montendre, the house provides all necessary amenities: showers, kitchen, garden, bamboo grove, etc. A vehicle will be at your disposal for transportation to the workshop site and for exploring the region. Breakfast and meals will be provided (you will have a food budget managed and communicated by the facilitators throughout the workcamp). Meals, prepared on a rotating schedule with you and the international volunteers, will respect environmental values, local resources, and the dietary preferences of each individual (including hot and cold dishes, as well as vegetarian and vegan options). For the first week, you will have lunch at the Maison des Bateleurs, and for the second and third week, you will have lunch with the festival team (on-site catering with various menus, including vegetarian and vegan options).

Le Prealpi friulane vivono un momento di profonda riflessione su quali possono essere le giuste leve in grado di invertire il declino che stanno vivendo analogamente a quanto si sta sperimentando in tutte le cosiddette aree interne e periferiche e non solo in Italia. L’abbandono drastico delle pratiche agricole e la fine di una zootecnia estensiva che le avevano modellate e invigorite negli ultimi secoli fino al secondo dopoguerra, le stanno spopolando in favore delle aree urbane che offrono servizi e possibilità di impiego.
Una possibilità che le vallate prealpine conservano ancora è rappresentata però dalle bellezze ambientali e dal valore che oggi esse rappresentano in una fase di generale declino della qualità ambientale e di allarmante perdita di biodiversità dovuta non solo all’emergenza del riscaldamento globale.
Nel Campo di Volontariato i ragazzi saranno guidati a fare dei campionamenti sullo stato dell’ambiente partendo dai corsi d’acqua dell’Arzino e del Cosa ed effettuare un monitoraggio attraverso la raccolta e l’analisi dei campioni d’acqua al fine di portare in evidenza le forme di inquinamento che possono comprometterne la naturalità.

I volontari saranno impegnati in attività di campionamento e analisi della qualità dell’acqua lungo i torrenti Arzino e Cosa. Una ulteriore attività sarà costituita da interventi di recupero sulla sentieristica storica affiancati da artigiani esperti nel rifacimento dei selciati e delle murature a secco.

È composto da ca. 40 borgate sparse lungo le colline tutto attorno alla frazione centrale di Paludea.
Il territorio è costituito da un corrugamento montuoso originato da movimenti di faglia nel sottosuolo che alla fine hanno dato ai luoghi il caratteristico aspetto a pieghe con rilievi addossati l’uno all’altro.
Abitato da 1000 anni prima di Cristo il comune è disposto in una posizione amena appena sopra la pianura del Friuli occidentale ed ha sempre rappresentato un luogo di rifugio e protezione per le scorribande e le invasioni che hanno sempre infestato il Friuli.
Fino al primo dopoguerra l’economia si fondava sull’agricoltura di sussistenza ed il luogo era conosciuto per la coltivazione della vite e degli alberi da frutto.

Attività formative
Il ciclo dell’acqua, esame delle opere di regimazione con analisi delle pressioni che insistono oggi sui corsi d’acqua e formazione sui protocolli e le tecniche di campionamento. Inoltre attraverso l’attività di recupero della sentieristica storica i volontari acquisiranno abilità manuali nella costruzione con blocchi di pietra a secco.

L’alloggio, Ostello di Castelnovo del Friuli, è costituito da 2 camerate da 16 posti ciascuna, da una cucina e un'ampia sala multiuso.

With the help of members of the association and local historians, you will take part in the enhancement of this emblematic heritage of the town of Eymet. You will learn how to lime the stone walls inside the mill with a mason who is an expert on this age-old technique, and you will work on developing an outdoor patio: weeding, installing a wooden floor and a removable awning, and repairing old walls. With the help of a specialist, you'll learn about the specific vegetation found along the banks of the river and look after it on the mill peninsula. Finally, you will take part in the design and organisation of the built heritage and mills festival, one of the town's great festive occasions.

Site visits, nature activities, you will build your own entertainment program with the animators and the other participants. We favor a discovery of the territory and these actors over consumption activities.

You'll stay in tents on our summer camp on the Moulin peninsula. Access to dry toilets and showers on site. Individual tents or tents for two will be provided, as well as foam trekking mattresses. Remember to bring your duvet and a pillow. You will prepare the menus together, meeting local producers and cooking their delicious seasonal produce. You'll share your meals together in the mill's majestic great hall, where you can spend unforgettable evenings afterwards. Don't forget to bring your own gourmet recipes!

Eymet is a charming medieval Bastide town in the Perigord Pourpre region of the Dordogne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Founded in 1270, this small town embodies the authenticity and charm of the Bastide towns, the fortified towns typical of southwestern France. Eymet is built around its central square, lined with arcades and bustling with cafes, restaurants and shops.
Its rich historical heritage can be seen in the cobbled streets, the fortified church of Saint-Etienne and the remains of its medieval castle, offering a journey back in time. History buffs will also appreciate the half-timbered and stone houses that bear witness to its past. Eymet is particularly well known for its strong British community, which contributes to its cosmopolitan atmosphere while preserving a Perigordian art of living.
Eymet's mill, located on the banks of the River Dropt, is one of the most emblematic symbols of this Bastide in the Perigord Pourpre. Full of history, it bears witness to the importance of mills in the medieval and modern economy of the region, where they were mainly used to grind the grain produced in the rich surrounding farmland.
You will take part in this architectural and human adventure by preparing the mill for summer events. You'll round off your stay by taking part in the local heritage and mill festival, which is held every year on the last weekend in June to kick off the summer season.

During World War II, nine above-ground bunker facilities were built to temporarily store V2 rockets. Volunteers will help preserve the remaining bunker structures by cutting grass, clearing pathways, and making the remnants more visible to the community. These bunkers and their history give Peenemunde its unique character. By contributing to this project, volunteers help to preserve an important part of German history so that it is not forgotten.
The Historical-Technical Museum will provide tools, work gloves, and bicycles for commuting to the worksite.

The town of Peenemunde, with around 400 inhabitants and surrounded by untouched nature, has a rich and eventful history. It is located in the northern part of the island of Usedom and is best known for the first successful rocket launch into space. During the Nazi era, Peenemunde was home to Europe?s largest research center, where "secret weapons" such as the V2 rocket were developed.
Leisure:
Excursions are possible, such as visits to the beach right on site or in the nearby town of Karlshagen, as well as a short trip to Swinoujscie in Poland. Bicycles are available.

Volunteers will stay in cozy vintage trailers on the grounds of a youth hostel. Pillows, blankets, and mattresses will be provided. There will be freshly cooked meals, including vegetarian options for dinner and sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.

Volunteers can explore the surroundings by water or go swimming together. Excursions to other cities, such as Rostock, are also possible.

ACCOMMODATION:
Volunteers will be accommodated in a youth club located in a former kindergarten. The accommodation is simple and functional. Outside, there is a fire pit that invites everyone to gather in the evenings. The volunteers should bring sleeping bag and mattress pad with them, as the accommodation only provides mattresses but no blankets.
FOOD:
Meals will be prepared by the volunteers themselves. They can bring their own ideas and recipes, creating a diverse mix of traditional specialties, new creations, and shared culinary experiments.

Volunteers will be engaged in projects aimed at preserving and restoring the natural environment of one of the most important wetlands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, the San Rossore estate, part of the MSRM Regional Park. Get ready to ride the bike!
Lavoro
The volunteers will use simple tools such as shears, axes and saws to remove invasive vegetation, record data to compare the present situation and check the effectiveness of the action. At the request of the Park, interventions will be possible for easy maintenance operations in areas of naturalistic interest further inland. Restoration of the paths in the naturalistic areas of the
estate and biomonitoring activities within the Park will also be carried out. All movements will be made by bicycles, which the volunteers will also maintain, with the help of the local bicycle workshop.

The San Rossore estate, in the MSRM regional park, after having been used as a hunting lodge for monarchs and presidents, has since 1989 been the central nucleus of a large coastal park that is a real gem in terms of both fauna and plant species, including several relicts and endemic species, which have found an environment here in which to survive and develop. The estate is within cycling distance of the cities of Pisa, and Lucca, two centres that need no description; from the camp it is also easy to reach other centres of interest, such as Livorno, Calci, Massaciuccoli and the Apuan Alps. Attività formative
Volunteers will participate in workshops about the local environment and its features, held by the technicians of the Park. They will learn about the Sea turtle "Caretta Caretta", whose traces they will also look for, and about the several species of plants and trees of the territory. They will also learn how to fix their own bike.

Flat in a farmhouse on the San Rossore Estate. we will prepare all meals in the apartment. the shopping will be done in local zero kilometer and organic shops
