Join a team of volunteers to renovate a concert hall and bring a community space to life in the heart of Gers, one of the most welcoming regions in France!
In Preignan, a lively village surrounded by nature, you will help breathe new life into L?Hydroberge, a community cafe much loved by the locals. The goal of this project is to turn this alternative space into a place for meeting and sharing while promoting values of inclusion, equality, and environmental responsibility.
On-site, you will take part in restoring the concert hall by renovating its walls and furniture. No experience is required?if you?ve never done masonry or woodworking before, don?t worry, everything can be learned along the way!? What really matters is your motivation and your desire to bring creativity to this promising project.
Beyond the renovation work, your stay will be filled with activities and local tourism, offering a full immersion into village life.

L?Hydroberge is located in Preignan, a charming village in Gers, at the heart of the Occitanie region in southern France. This picturesque village, with everything you need nearby, is just a stone?s throw from Auch, the city of d?Artagnan, known for its rich history.
Preignan hosts fascinating remnants such as an ancient villa visible on the ridges. The village?s Romanesque church, at its center, was built on a former Merovingian cemetery, offering a true journey through time. The Rambert Mill, home to L?Hydroberge, is itself a historic monument and a symbol of local life.
If you love history and authenticity, Gers is the ideal place to explore France in a unique way. You can discover the Santiago de Compostela trails, visit archaeological sites like the Gallo-Roman villa of Seviac, and more! The region is also home to the Occitan language, adding even more charm to its rich character.

You will sleep in individual tents (provided by Concordia) with access to sanitary facilities, showers, and a kitchen.
Everyone will take turns preparing meals and managing the living space (organizing schedules, cleaning, shopping, etc.). Tasks will be shared collectively, and meals will be prepared together (mainly vegetarian). A budget will be allocated to the team leaders, and you will participate in grocery shopping, prioritizing healthy, mostly vegetarian and locally sourced products. Laundry will be done by hand.
Wi-Fi is not available, but volunteers can share their mobile data if needed.

Discover the Ramparts of Peronne and Take Part in Their Restoration!
Nestled in the heart of the Somme region, the town of Peronne boasts a rich historical heritage, a testament to its strategic past. Its ramparts, remnants of an ancient defense system, have stood the test of time but now require dedicated restoration efforts. This project is a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation of this cultural heritage while learning traditional building techniques.
Your mission will be to restore a section of the ancient walls by undertaking various tasks. You will help rebuild a brick wall to close an opening, using traditional masonry techniques. Additionally, you will work on repointing the stones and bricks to reinforce the structure and ensure its long-term stability. Alongside this, you will also assist in installing a new fence along the ramparts to protect and secure the site.
Guided by heritage professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in restoration techniques while playing an active role in safeguarding this historic landmark. By collaborating with the municipality and local residents, you will help bring new life to the ramparts while enjoying a rewarding collective experience. A unique adventure blending heritage, engagement, and intercultural exchange!

Peronne is a town of approximately 7,000 inhabitants located in the Hauts-de-France region, in the eastern part of the Somme, at the heart of the former Picardie region. The town is 1.5 hours from Paris, 1 hour from Amiens, and 30 minutes from Saint-Quentin. Due to its strategic location during World War I, the area is home to many sites of memory and commemoration.
A medieval festival will take place during your workcamp on the first weekend, offering plenty of opportunities for interaction and festivities. You will also participate in the celebrations of the French National Day on July 14th, including a fireworks display. Additionally, a visit to Amiens, the capital of Picardie, is on the agenda!

Accommodation will be in individual tents at the municipal stadium, where a large communal tent will be set up as a living space with a dining area. (Don?t forget your sleeping bag!). Showers will be available in the stadium?s locker rooms.
Community life will be at the heart of the experience: you will share daily tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the animation team, and you will take part in grocery shopping and meal preparation, with a focus on vegetarian, healthy and locally sourced products.

For several years, the municipality of Peronne has been collaborating with Concordia, welcoming volunteer workcamps aimed at safeguarding the ramparts, bringing together local youth and international volunteers. These initiatives not only help protect a valuable historical legacy but also foster connections between generations and cultures while raising awareness of the importance of heritage conservation.

Help preserve Montferrat's local heritage!
Located in the north-east of the commune of Montferrat, the Pierrepont spring is a place of refreshment for many villagers during the summer. With the aim of restoring the site's hydraulic heritage, an important element in the history and life of the village, you'll be tasked with clearing and demarcating the area to be rebuilt using picks and shovels; resuming the foundations on the sections requiring it; sorting the stones and assembling a hard base; building the low wall leading to the spring.
Take part in the enhancement of this committed and culturally rich commune, while making unforgettable encounters!

Montferrat (commune of approx. 1700 inhabitants) is located in the Var (83) department in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region.
Just 15 km from Draguignan and 5 km from Chateaudouble, the village is nestled among wooded hills, in an unspoilt natural setting. The Pierrepont site is a fifteen-minute walk from the town center.
Your volunteer work will be punctuated by a variety of cultural and natural activities: discovering the region and its specialties, hiking, nature sports, meeting local people... and much more!

Accommodation will be in tents provided by Concordia in the outdoor area of the stadium. This will be a large field with grass and shady trees. Access to the stadium's showers, kitchen and WC is included.
You'll share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together, outdoors in a summer kitchen or under the small covered facility. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you'll help with the shopping, giving preference to healthy, local produce.
Requisiti e materiali
Bring work clothes, hiking boots and a swimsuit. Nights can be chilly, so take warm clothes and a good sleeping bag. You can also bring recipes from your country/region, musical instruments and games.

Are you a true artist? Do you like to get your hands dirty? This project is for you!
This is our first year working with Moulins de Paillard! A veritable artistic oasis, this site welcomes artists from all over the world every year to work on their creations. Founded by two enthusiasts, Shelly and James, the site is constantly evolving, and this year we're working together to make it even better!
If you like learning lots of new techniques, you're in for a treat! This workcamp includes 3 small masonry and carpentry projects. You'll be taking part in the creation of wooden cladding for an outdoor room, the creation of a compost bin and the rehabilitation of part of the well on the site by staking and repointing lime mortar (a masonry technique for old buildings).
You'll be accompanied throughout the project by our expert guides, who will help you learn these techniques step by step!

Les Moulins de Paillard is located in the village of Ponce sur le Loir, Loir en Vallee in the Sarthe region (72).
This workcamp is an opportunity to take full advantage of the exceptional setting of a former 18th-century paper mill and to immerse yourself in Sarthe culture: local culinary specialties, hiking, discovery of local heritage and the Chateau de Ponce.

This is our first year working with Les Moulins de Paillard!
Recognized by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Ateliers de Fabrique Artistique, Paillard has a global cultural and artistic project, including the production and dissemination of contemporary works, through which the public interest association works to safeguard and enhance the heritage site. Located on the Loir in a former 18th-century paper mill, Paillard offers a contemporary program of exhibitions, choreographies and concerts, as well as educational workshops and events open to all throughout the year. The works produced at Moulins de Paillard are then exhibited in galleries, museums, theaters and art centers around the world.

Children Development is one of the major programs at VIN Integrated Community Development Approach. The Goal of the Childrens development program is to protect the rights of all children by providing them access to basic quality education, developing their life skills (creativity, leadership etc.) and providing access to health and hygiene services. VIN has different projects under children s development program such as Children s Clubs (CC), Early Childhood Development (ECD), School Attendance (Teacher Development, Parenting Education, School Infrastructure Development, and Child Sponsorship), and Child Care. Even these days in Nepal, schools are focused mainly on examination and are not doing enough to develop life skills like creativity and leadership for children. Teachers only focus on reading and writing U? 1/2 rote learning. Creativity and individual differences in children are not explored. Due to the busy work schedule of parents, most of the children do not have an opportunity to socialize and be creative. These types of camps are so essential to provide life skills development opportunities to children aged between 5-12 years old. We work only with disadvantaged communities as these families cannot afford to take their children to holidays during their Winter and Summer breaks. Children don t have a proper structure and environment at home or a school to develop their innate talents. Children s camp (during winter and summer breaks) is one of the best places to explore their natural skills such as creativity and leadership. In this work camp, national and international volunteers will facilitate different types of fun and creative activities for the children where VIN works. Objectives: To provide unique opportunities for overall development (social, emotional, physical, mental, creativity) and provide a fun time for children aged between 5 and 12 utilizing their vacation period. To promote friendship, understanding, and solidarity among local young volunteers and cross-national volunteers. To provide an opportunity to understand and appreciate the Nepalese culture and traditions via cultural immersion.

VIN s Environmental and Conservation Programs raise community awareness of critical environmental issues and develop effective solutions. VIN runs various ecological projects that aim to conserve, promote, and protect the environment and culture while preventing, mitigating, and controlling water, land, and air pollution to enhance the health, safety, and welfare of current and future generations. We utilize permaculture for sustainable farming and have been teaching and implementing it since 2018. We believe that permaculture plays a vital role in restoring the entire ecosystem Holi, the Festival of Colors, is a major celebration in Nepal, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring. During this lively festival, people throw colored powders and water to share blessings and celebrate a bountiful harvest. Originally a Hindu tradition, Holi is now celebrated by many, including non-Hindus across South Asia and beyond. The festivities include gathering with family and friends, playing music, and enjoying special foods and drinks. Volunteers help prepare and celebrate the Holi festival in the community.

You'll be working to protect the local flora and fauna while enjoying a unique experience combining nature and culture. From 15th to 17th July, you'll be helping to set up the Jazz Festival, and then spending the rest of your stay taking part in ecological actions at the RBC (Municipal Biodiversity Reserve) de la Craie (2.5 km from the campsite). On the programme: creation and restoration of ponds, development of a mudflat, installation of wildlife shelters (nest boxes, bat houses, perches). Your commitment will contribute directly to preserving an ecosystem rich in amphibians, dragonflies, birds and bats.

At the crossroads of some pretty little villages in the Deux-Sevres departement, you can take full advantage of the local heritage. Leisure activity time and local activities will encourage you to meet the locals!

A Tivoli (large arbour) will be available with all amenities (fridge, gas cooker, cooking utensils, etc.). You will have a vehicle at your disposal for any mobility in the region. Food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner (you will have a food budget which the leaders will manage and communicate with you throughout the work camp). You'll be working on finalizing the lime-hemp insulation of the facade, renovating the original staircase leading up to the side, and building the wooden balcony floor. You will also help us maintain the site's outdoor spaces by renovating the farmhouse. A local expert will guide you through the various phases of the work. Some activities involve working on scaffolding. Each day, two members of the group will take turns preparing meals for the team; the menu will be defined in advance. You will work on construction sites during the mornings from Monday to Friday.
Generally speaking, the work involves masonry, preparing tools and meals, as well as organizing and setting up collective life.

Le Fai farm is 2 km from the village of Le Saix and 13 km from the town of Veynes. There's no Wi-Fi, so the connection is weak, but you'll meet people from all over the world!
The site is located below the summit of Aujour Mountain, so the view may inspire you to discover the pleasure of the hike in your spare time. Indeed, this wilderness spot is ideal for mountain walking and wandering. You'll have the chance to discover the area in the company of a group of international volunteers, which will enrich your experience. Here, you'll be the protagonist of your stay: you'll organize your free time together with the support of our staff.

We host you at La Ferme du Fai, at an altitude of 1,000 meters. You will be accommodated in individual tents. A kitchen, dry toilets, and showers will be at your disposal on the site.
Here, we take care with our food to reduce our environmental impact: we eat local as much as possible and reduce our meat consumption to twice a week.
Daily life is organized collectively: menus (vegetarian, vegan diets, etc.), shopping, activities, and so on. Once or twice for weeks, we organize shopping trips using the vehicles provided on-site.

Come to discover the unusual place of the Fai farm: an old mountain farmhouse that lives on today thanks to a team of employees working on renovating the site's buildings, artists and musicians in artistic residences, hikers passing through, and aficionados. For several years now, we have been working on renovating the Farmhouse building with thick hemp-lime insulation and natural-pigmented plaster on the exterior.
We're in the final stages of renovation, so come and help us complete the project!

Enjoy being outdoors! The main task of the project will be to improve the outdoor infrastructure so that even more people enjoy spending their leisure time outdoors and in nature.
• You will be installing benches at various points along the edge of paths or forests - in some places this will first require clearing work and the construction of a foundation, while in other places existing wooden benches or picnic areas will simply be renovated.
• You will renovate a wooden shelter for hikers. This includes woodwork and painting as well as wood and roof maintenance.
• To motivate children in particular to spend their free time outdoors, you will maintain an existing playground in the middle of the forest and add some new play equipment.
• To complete all these small tasks you will also improve the surrounding of your accommodation. This will include landscape gardening and renovation work.
The group of volunteers will be split up in the two different tasks every day. You are also invited to support the local festival team during their village party.

The workcamp will take place in the small village Schwarzerden, which belongs to the community of Freisen. Freisen is situated in the north of Saarland in a rural area. You can find many interesting places in Freisen: a historical railway, cultural and natural sights, a small zoo, a spa bath (but only few of them in Schwarzerden). The local villagers are already looking forward to getting to know you and to welcoming you at the local village festival. We will do our best to arrange excursions with the support of locals but due to the poot public transport they will for sure be limited. The project is perfect for volunteers who enjoy being outside and in nature.

The accommodation provided is the former centre of the sports club of Schwarzerden. It is now in public use for bigger events in this village. All necessary facilities are a hall for sleeping, a kitchen, toilettes, showers… Camping beds are provided but please bring your sleeping bag! If the weather is fine, you have the opportunity to eat and chill outside. Attention: This place is quite isolated; the village of Schwarzerden is 1km away. Next to the accommodation you can find the sports ground, you can use it whenever you want. You will have a beautiful view over the valley; you will be surrounded by forests and meadows. Just make a campfire and enjoy nature.
Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow (if required). Your group of volunteers will be responsible for grocery shopping and cooking together. The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.

In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

Help restore a hut at the heart of the ?hunters' site? in the south of France!
The commune of Puy-Saniere would like to restore the ?hunters' hut?, a structure overlooking the Lac de Serre-Poncon, and through which many hikers pass. Once used as a base for hunters, this structure is part of the commune's rural heritage and could also become a shelter for walkers.
You'll be taking part in the restoration of the hut's enclosure during a 3-week international work camp. You'll work on cleaning up the site, deconstructing it before starting to build, and finally constructing a low wall. At the end of your work, the walls will extend over 24 linear meters, allowing the hut to become a used shelter again!
This is a high-mountain project, so you'll need to read the description carefully before signing up. You'll be asked to provide a cover letter before you can register!

Puy-Sanieres is a commune in southern France, located on the southern flank of Mont Guillaume (2,552 m), at the southernmost tip of the Ecrins massif. It lies in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region, near the Serre-Poncon lake.
The site of the ?hunters' hut? is located a few kilometers away from the center of the village of Puy-Sanieres, on land mainly devoted to pastoralism and soft tourism activities.
The site will be punctuated by leisure activities, such as discovering the region and its specialities, hiking and other sporting activities, as well as opportunities to meet the local population.

You'll be accommodated outside the hut, in a large shady area where tents (supplied by CONCORDIA) will be pitched to provide shelter from the elements. A party room is also available, with access to WCs and a covered kitchen. Telephone reception, but no WIFI.
Meals are prepared either in an outdoor kitchen or in the covered kitchen. You'll share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the animators and you will participate in the shopping and preparation of meals, giving priority to healthy, vegetarian and local products.

The Commune would like to restore the Moulin de Viollins, located along the Biaysse torrent and a popular passageway for hikers.
You're invited to take part in the process of giving the mill a new lease of life.
On the program: site clean-up to prepare the work area, removal of collapsed roof elements, removal of deteriorated walls, sorting of stones, deconstruction of unstable wall sections, repointing of masonry...The aim of your work will be to restore the mill's perimeter walls, in particular by sorting materials and laying a sloping glacis.

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming "Ohenro (pilgrims)" who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago. The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting "Kakurin-ji temple"; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage locals are trying to find new ways for "omotenashi (hospitality)". Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land. Local host Oi have finally decided that they can freely renovate and modify the vacant houses. Moreover, the site is in a good location, with mountains, a river and fields. It is up to the volunteers from now on to decide how to develop the project. The aim is for the volunteer members to clean up the abandoned houses and village landscape and transform it into a village that people will want to visit to take photos, as it used to be a village where people came and went since ancient times.

During the workcamp mornings, you will participate in the construction of a wooden structure, a covered shelter, which will serve as a relaxing area and a cool, shaded space. Under the supervision of a technical supervisor, you will learn woodworking skills and become true apprentice carpenters. Once the structure is completed, you will be able to shelter there and take part in its decoration and layout.
But it doesn?t stop there ? we need your motivation to restore the stone and mosaic slab in our "pond and performance" area. Over the years, relentless vegetation has infiltrated the space, and the ground is now all uneven. The frogs will be at the front lines, encouraging you with their croaks!
Additionally, you will help water the plants, harvest vegetables from the garden, and transform these products. You?ll have the chance to meet our 3 wonderful residents from the chicken coop and maintain this space regularly.
This project is a great opportunity to meet young people from across Europe and around the world, exchange cultures, and share friendly moments. LOCATION: The accommodation is located an hour drive south-east from Reykjavik. The house serves as an environmental-educational centre and sits under Ingolfsfjall, The Mountain of Ingolfur, with a view of Eyjafjallajokull where the volcanic eruptions began in March and April 2010. The place is registered as natural Icelandic heritage; the nature, vegetation and birdlife is rich in variety and quantity. The volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful and beautiful location with a small stream and a pond nearby. Hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage can be found throughout the area, which is a popular attraction among both foreign and local visitors. The nearest town, Selfoss, only 10 minutes-drive away, with 6500 inhabitants, is a centre of commerce and small industries where you find a geothermal swimming pool, shops, museums, cafes and bars.

ACCOMMODATION: SEEDS volunteers stay in an old farm which has been transformed into an environmental education centre. The facilities are basic with an equipped kitchen, dining and living room, bathroom, shower and a washing machine. Volunteers sleep in shared rooms, with up to 6 people per room. This superb project involves the creation of a mural on a wall near the rugby stadium. Supervised by real professionals (local artists' collectives), you will be able to learn the art of graffiti and mural painting!

During their stay, SEEDS organises a programme that combines learning, sharing, getting to know Iceland and its culture, and having fun while exploring the city and some of the most stunning natural attractions in the Golden Circle and Reykjanes Peninsula excursions. Note that this is a learning/sharing camp and not a regular workcamp; this project has a smaller volunteer work part and emphasises the personal learning process over the community impact. We may be able to organise some outdoor voluntary work, but it depends on our partners and the weather conditions.

SEEDS participants will stay in a house in Reykjavik. The facilities are basic with an equipped kitchen, dining and living room, bathrooms, showers and a washing machine. As participants sleep in shared rooms with up to 6 people, everyone is expected to behave considerately. Please bring your own towel. Participants will receive food supplies and be in charge of the cooking and cleaning activities. Note the food SEEDS provides will be vegetarian. Do not forget to bring some traditional/typical food, drinks, recipes, music or games from your country for the intercultural evening. Be aware some items or ingredients may be expensive in Iceland and you will need to buy them yourselves or bring them from your country.

Bus station: Central Reykjavik (BS).Participation fee EUR 650 (Euros), which needs to be transferred to SEEDS the latest one month before the camp starts to confirm the placement. It includes food, accommodation, transportation from the meeting point to the camp (on the first day), the Golden Circle and Reykjanes excursions. We will visit spectacular waterfalls, geysers, impressive coastline, a volcano crater, the Thingvellir National Park and much more.Additional excursions (eg. Hot River Hike or the South Shore) can be arranged at discount fares depending on time availability, weather conditions, and the number of participants interested in joining them. Be prepared for cold or rainy weather and bring warm and/or waterproof clothing.

This is the eighteenth year (since 2008) that SEEDS has organised a series of International Photography projects and we began organising these camps for teenagers in the year 2010. Throughout the year, participants from all over the world come to Iceland for an immersive photography-focused learning camp. SEEDS coordinators help participants to develop their unique photographic skills through workshops and feedback sessions on technical settings, compositional considerations, and creating conceptual frameworks that highlight each participant s individual style. Participants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant will be selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods, and laptops, if possible. While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture through active participation: capturing it, engaging with it, and showcasing their work throughout the camp. One of our goals is to empower young people to use photography to highlight environmental and cultural subjects and issues.Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.
