The camp will take place at the Quinta EcolEgica da Moita (QEM), a 14 hectares forest that locates at the village of Oliveirinha, in a rural setting near the city of Aveiro, here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FP1VUruHVgReL2Fm9 QEM used to be a very active educational forest but it has been abandoned for a few years and needs restoration and maintenance work to become visitable and a pedagogical forest again.

Participants will sleep in a house that supports QEMs activities, on mattresses and with their sleeping bags. There will be 2 shared rooms (separated by gender). There are hot water showers also separated by gender.Participants have to bring their own towels and hygiene products, sleeping bag or sheetsblanket, and pillow. The organization will provide breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Lunches and dinners are prepared/cooked served at a canteen from Santa Casa da MisericErdias social complex, but some lunches will be served in the field (sandwiches, fruits, etc.)

Le festival est un endroit unique pour rencontrer des centaines de danseur·euse·s et chanteur·euse·s folkloriques venu·es du monde entier. Cette année le festival aura lieu du 22 au 27 juillet 2025. Les artistes y présenteront leur danse et leur musique sous forme d'ateliers, de concerts, de cabaret, et de défilés.
En coopération avec d'autres bénévoles, tu découvriras l'envers du décor d'un festival et tu participeras activement à son succès ! Avant le festival, tu prendras part à la création des décoration, à l'installation et au montage du festival. Pendant le festival, les missions seront diverses : accueil du public, hébergement des artistes, buvettes, stand de crêpes, ateliers de création, aide aux repas des bénévoles. Après le festival, tu participeras au démontage des équipements. L'atmosphère est toujours chaleureuse et cela sera l'occasion de faire de belles rencontres ! Tu pourras aussi profiter de ton temps libre pour explorer la ville de Gannat, ses paysages naturels, et ses alentours.
Come volunteer with others to share the cultures of the world with as many people as possible! The festival is a unique place to meet hundreds of folkloric dancers and singers from around the world. This year, the festival will take place from July 22 to 27, 2025. The artists will present their dance and music through workshops, concerts, cabarets, and parades.
Working with other volunteers, you'll discover the behind-the-scenes of a festival and actively contribute to its success! Before the festival, you'll help with creating decorations and setting up the event. During the festival, the tasks will vary: welcoming the public, accommodating the artists, managing the bars, running a crepe stand, and leading creative workshops. After the festival, you'll participate in dismantling the equipment. The atmosphere is always warm, and it’s a great opportunity to meet wonderful people! You’ll also have free time to explore Gannat, its natural landscapes, and the surrounding area.

The project takes place in Gannat, in the Allier department, between Clermont-Ferrand and Moulins. Les bénévoles seront logé·e·s sous tentes, sur une partie verdoyante du stade municipal qui leur sera dédié. Les bénévoles auront chacun leur tente et ils auront à disposition un bâtiment avec toutes les commodités. Des espaces en extérieur seront disponibles pour se reposer, échanger et prendre des repas en commun.
Au-delà des temps de chantier, les bénévoles participent ensemble à l’organisation de la vie collective. Souvent réparti·e·s en équipes, ils·elles élaborent les menus, participent aux courses, préparent les repas et s’assurent de la propreté des espaces communs.
Véritable acteur·ice de ton expérience, tu participeras aussi à la prise de décisions concernant les activités collectives et l’organisation du quotidien !
Volunteers will be accommodated in tents, on a dedicated green area of the municipal stadium. Each volunteer will have their own tent, and they will have access to a building with all amenities. Outdoor spaces will be available for resting, socialising, and shared meals.
Beyond the working hours, volunteers come together to organise daily life on the camp. Often divided into teams, they plan menus, help with the shopping, prepare meals, and ensure the cleanliness of shared spaces.
Fully involved in shaping your experience, you will also take part in decision-making regarding group activities and daily organization!

Other leisure activities will be organised collectively depending on the wishes of the group and the available budget. On day in Paris is scheduled.

You will sleep in collective Yurts, in non mixity on the campsite of the association. Please bring a sleeping bag with you. The campsite has separate bathrooms and showers, as well as a kitchen place. Food will be provided and cooked by the volunteers in turns.

Most of the time volunteers will work at the Jewish cemetery and in the Shakhs synagogue where you will help with the maintenance of outdoor areas (cleaning pavements, weeding, cutting and raking grass, maintaining graveyards, etc.) You will also help with the preparation of the Jewish Culture Festival which takes place in Holesov during the workcamp (moving and installing various equipment for events etc.). The work can sometimes be moderately physically demanding. Please, bring suitable shoes and working clothes. You will also work on the weekend (because of the festival) but you will get enough time off on other days.

Location: The project takes place in Holesov (12,000 inhabitants), a historical town located in the south-east of the Czech Republic. It is well known for its important Jewish heritage such as a rare synagogue from the 16th century or Holesov cemetery - an important place of pilgrimage for Jews. There is good phone coverage everywhere around the town, ATMs and pharmacies.
Free time: During the free time volunteers can go on a trip to the UNESCO site of Kromeriz, visit the pilgrimage hill of Hostyn or the open-air museum of folk architecture in Rymice. You will also have free entry to all cultural activities organized by the Cultural Center.
Study part: You will learn a lot about Jewish culture and its heritage through visiting local monuments and experiencing the Jewish Culture Festival (concerts, performances, films etc.). You will also have a chance to meet the local community during a barbecue or at a traditional lunch with the representatives of the community town.

Volunteers will be accommodated in a house near the workplace, sleeping on matrasses all together in one room. Please, bring a sleeping bag. There are 2 toilets in the acommodation, showers are apart in the castle complex approximately 500 meters from the accommodation. WIFI is not available in the building - only at the synagogue and the castle. Volunteers will cook meals together as a group. If you need to use washing machines, it can be arranged.

The workcamp is organised in cooperation with Municipal Cultural Center Holesov, a non-profit organization that manages most of the Jewish monuments in the city and organizes the Festival of Jewish Culture. The workcamp takes place in Holesov, a small Moravian town, known for its large pre- second world war Jewish community. There is an important Jewish heritage in Holesov – an old synagogue and also a grave of one of the greatest Jewish scholars - Rabbi Shakh. The goal of this workcamp is to maintain the Jewish cemetery, help with the organization of the festival and learn about Jewish heritage. At this workcamp, you will actively contribute to the achievement of United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Becin Castle is an early Ottoman Castle on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Volunteers will be helping the professional excavation team will take part in unearthing the history, and also will be helping the environmental arrangement and cleaning of the site, maintenance, basic repairing work, and landscaping.
Due to the hot weather in the summer months, excavations usually start at early morning and end between 2 pm and 3 pm. There maybe changes in working program hours. The exact program will be available till the summer season. Due to the hot weather, work starts early in the morning and ends in the afternoon. Precautions such as sun-proof awnings are in place.
You are not expected to be experienced in this archaeological study, where you can witness history up close.

Many activities await you in Mugla City, a city with full of touristic, historical and natural beauties. This region, full of ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman heritages that you can visit, is also 45 minutes away from the sea. You can enjoy your free time with the excavation team and volunteers in this region where you can enjoy the sea, sand and sun. Plus, we will have educational workshops for you!

Volunteers will stay in the lodging belonging to the excavation directorate. There is air conditioning in the rooms. There is a toilet, bathroom, kitchen and dining hall. Volunteers can watch the stars on the terrace on dark nights. Breakfasts and dinners will be served at the lodge. Lunches will be served at the house in the excavation area. This Work Camp is held during the Dana Cup, and there are therefore plenty of tasks that will ensure the event will run smoothly.
Work Camp participants must help with the establishment of an event area, catering for 20.000 football players as well as practical tasks such as painting accommodation cabins and maintaining outdoor areas.
During the two weeks of Work Camp, you will assist with general support and logistics before the tournament begins, maintenance of outdoor- and indoor areas, cleaning, kitchen assistance, event creations and reparation of dormitories in Dana Cup Town.
The work is expected to be arranged in two shifts from 08:00-21:00.

During your stay in Northern Jutland, you will have time to explore some unique nature and attractions in Denmark. You can, for example, arrange a day trip to Skagen, the most Northern tip of Denmark where two oceans meet. Skagen is famous for the special light which has attracted many painters, cosy yellow and red houses and much more. You can also visit the city of Hj?rring, or take a day trip to Aalborg.
One of the neighbouring towns called Hirtshals has the biggest Aquarium in Northern Europe. And in another neighbouring town is the biggest summer amusement park in Denmark.
Your Work Camp leaders will help you and the group with organising activities in your spare time. It is free to enjoy the beautiful nature of Northern Jutland, but some activities might require an extra charge. The host will not cover additional charges.

Sleeping + bathroom facilities:
Participants are sleeping in tents, and we will provide the linens, duvet etc. Participants are of course welcome to bring their sleeping bags or similar if needed or wished upon. There are both baths and toilets available. Laundry facilities are available for free.
Meals + kitchen facilities:
The host will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the volunteers will be eating with other volunteers and event participants. Vegetarian and vegan food will be provided.

English will be the only language spoken. All participants must be willing to speak English, even though they are from the same country or have trouble with the English language. Try your best!
Unfortunately, the job involves some physical work and therefore we cannot offer any work to volunteers with disabilities. Participants must be willing to do manual work, work that is for the most part outdoors.

A non-profit organisation runs the Dana Cup, and the event is one of the world's largest international youth soccer tournaments.
Every year, in the last week of July, the soccer tournament brings together around 20.000 young people between 12-19 years old and their coaches. They come to Hj?rring in northern Denmark from 45 different nations, representing 1000 football teams.
Dana Cup Week brings a great party in Hj?rring and the atmosphere is amazing! It is the fifth Work Camp at this huge sports event, and it was a great experience in 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. We are very excited for another camp in 2024.

You love nature and history ? Come help restore the historical stone quarries of Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux, a site full of hidden treasures !
Did you know that the stones from this small town in the Drome region were used to build monuments in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and even New-York ? Today, this remarkable site still bears traces of this once-flourishing industry.
By joining this project, you will contribute to the preservation of the local heritage.
Your mission: restore access paths damaged by erosion and protect local wildlife. On steep, wooded, and rocky terrain, you will set up drainage channels to facilitate water flow and prevent further degradation, as well as build steps to make the area more accessible. This work is a continuation of the restoration work carried out over the past three years. It requires dedication but provides an immersive and enriching experience.
Whether you're a history buff, nature lover or simply looking for a meaningful human adventure, this is the project for you!
No prior skills are required - just motivation and the desire to contribute to a valuable initiative in the heart of the Drome Provencale.

Located in the Drome department, in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux (9,000 inhabitants) sits in the heart of the Rhone Valley, a region with a Mediterranean climate. This privileged setting?surrounded by vineyards, lavender fields, and rolling hills?makes the Drome Provencale a sought-after destination for its heritage, unspoiled nature, and quality of life. You will discover its architectural treasures, including a Roman cathedral, elegant townhouses, and archaeological collections. The town is also famous for its gastronomy, particularly the Tricastin black truffle, a renowned regional product.
In your free time, you will enjoy a diverse program to explore the area and engage with locals. Guided tours, workshops and various summer events (concerts, artisan and craft demonstrations) will enrich your experience. You will sleep in individual tents (provided by Concordia) set up on a dedicated site near the municipal stadium. This location is just a few minutes from the town center. Access will be secured with keys provided to participants to control entry and exit. The stadium?s locker rooms will be separated, with single-sex sanitary and shower areas, ensuring comfort and privacy. A communal hall will be available for meals and will also serve as a shelter in case of extreme weather.
Tasks will be shared collectively, and meals will be prepared together. A budget will be allocated to the team leaders, and you will participate in grocery shopping, prioritizing healthy and locally sourced products and vegetarian meals. A laundromat is located a 7-minute walk from the accommodation, and its use will be at the participants? expense. There is no Wi-Fi on-site but you can hotspot with other volunteers.

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If there are health issues on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Come take part in the project to protect the Auga peat bog and other sites around ! At the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, this natural area is a unique mosaic of ecosystems! You'll be able to discover the local fauna and flora and carry out a number of tasks to help preserve this environment: thermal brush-cutting, small-scale logging, removal of certain invasive exotic plant species, construction of pontoons to cross streams, creation of wooden signs to raise awareness. A worksite right in the heart of nature!

The commune of LOUVIE-JUZON is located at the gateway to the Ossau valley, just a stone's throw from the Pyrenees mountain range. Between the mountains and the sheep and cow pastures, this site, right in the middle of nature, will be an opportunity to discover the small mountain villages around, their inhabitants, the gastronomic specialities and the nearby hiking trails! Get your boots ready! On the site of the peat bog itself, small footpaths allow you to wander through this magnificent natural area and observe the birds, dragonflies and endemic flowers.

You will be accommodated in individual tents, with sanitary facilities, kitchen and communal living area. You'll have the chance to sleep on the peat bog site, right in the middle of nature. An old barn on the site has been refurbished and now contains modern facilities, with a kitchen, toilets and a large enclosed room for meals and activities during the stay. The showers are in LOUVIE-JUZON, a 5-minute drive away, and we'll be going there at least once a day.
You will share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you will help with the shopping and meal preparation, giving priority to healthy, local produce. Once a week, we'll go to the nearest village market, in LOUVIE-JUZON
WIFI available, laundry done by hand.
Together, you'll help to organise community life (housework, activities, etc.) and take it in turns to prepare meals using locally sourced produce. Our aim is to encourage vegetarian eating using local, seasonal produce, while respecting participants' diets and discovering local cuisine together.

The peat bog is a wetland classified as a sensitive natural area. Around ten years ago, the commune of LOUVIE-JUZON undertook the restoration and enhancement of this former pastoral site. It is now managed by the Pyrenees-Atlantiques department. Numerous awareness-raising missions are carried out on site throughout the year for schoolchildren and local residents. The Auga peat bog is home to some remarkable plant and animal species. The workcamp will not only be an opportunity to help preserve this unique site, but also to discover all its secrets thanks to the many specialists who will be on hand to show you around.

I partecipanti, accompagnati dai camp leaders, trascorreranno dieci giorni sulle rive del Lago di Como, dedicandosi ad attività di pulizia delle spiagge di Oliveto Lario. Il progetto, promosso da Legambiente, mira anche a sensibilizzare i bagnanti, spesso legati a un turismo mordi e fuggi, sull'importanza di tutelare l'ambiente. L’iniziativa punta inoltre a coinvolgere la comunità locale, composta da residenti che vivono nella zona tutto l’anno e hanno il diritto di abitare in un luogo pulito e ben preservato.
Si sperimenterà una vita comunitaria svolta nel modo più sostenibile possibile: mangiando prevalentemente vegatariano!
Lavoro
Scopo dei volontari sarà quello di raccogliere i rifiuti dalle spiagge di Oliveto Lario. Durante il campo, poi, i volontari saranno occupati ad aiutare il circolo locale di Lecco nella divulgazione di materiale informativo. I volontari lavoreranno per circa 5 ore al giorno con un giorno libero nel corso della durata del progetto.

Ferropolis is an old coal mine and is the perfect location for a great festival experience located next to a lake.

Please be aware that it is necessary to bring a tent as accommodation. The volunteers will sleep on the camping side in an area reserved especially for all volunteers of the festival. We aim to create an inclusive environment that provides space for the acceptance of all gender expressions and sexual orientations but in a relaxing, outdoor environment outside of the hectic confines of the city. A multi-day camping festival where self-expression and self-liberation are paramount.
Considering today?s tumultuous and polarizing political climate, we find it necessary to create a refuge for those that oftentimes find themselves marginalized by the rest of society. WHOLE is an outdoor exercise in community building.
We've invited more international crews hoping to enhance & strengthen our sense of community beyond national borders. All genders are welcome to enjoy and create this unique atmosphere.

Strand, Natur und Wellenrauschen: kommt mit uns in die Bretagne!
Auf der "Ile Ilur" erlebt ihr ein Workcamp der besonderen Art: die Insel nur mit Hilfe eines privaten Boots zu erreichen. Als Teilnehmende unseres Workcamps aber bringen wir euch dieses einmalige Naturschutzgebiet im Golf von Morbihan näher :-). In einer Gruppe von französischen und deutschen Jugendlichen übernehmt ihr Aufgaben in den Bereichen von Umwelt-/Naturschutz und Erhaltung/Aufwertung des kulturellen Erbes. Hier ein paar Beispiele für mögliche Tätigkeiten eurerseits auf der Insel:
o Strand säubern/pflegen
o Pflanzen pflegen / Pflanzenschutz
o Wege wieder frei legen
o leichte Renovierungsarbeiten; z.B. Trockenmauern restaurieren; Instandhaltungs-
und Verschönerungsarbeiten des traditionell-bretonischen „Dorfs“ der Insel
Im Vordergrund steht aber natürlich vor allem auch der Austausch und das gemeinsame soziale Miteinander zwischen euch Teilnehmenden. Es gibt auch immer ein spannendes Freizeitprogramm mit Ausflügen, Spiel und Sport.
Für An-und Abreisekosten zum Camp wird es voraussichtlich auch in diesem Jahr wieder einen Fahrtkostenzuschuss von bis zu max. 200 Euro geben.
Noch gut zu wissen: Das Camp findet schon seit vielen Jahren mit viel positivem Feedback statt :-) In diesem Jahr hat das Camp eine Teenage Gebühr von 250€; dafür bekommt ihr aber erstmalig auch eine Fahrtkostenrückerstattung (abhängig von der Entfernung eures Wohnortes) bis maximal 200€.

Eure Arbeit findet auf der Insel Ilur statt. Ein privat gemietetes Boot bringt euch an den Arbeitstagen zur Insel.
Die 1 km lange Insel ist Teil des Archipel d'Arz im Golf von Mohiban. Sie ist wild und geschützt: Während sie einst das Zuhause von 9 Familien war, die Kartoffelanbau und Schafhaltung betrieben, lebt heute nur noch ein Küstenwächter dort; gemeinsam mit einer Schafherde. Dieser kümmert sich das ganze Jahr um die Pflege der Insel; er wacht über Hecken, Wiesen und die landschaftliche Vielfalt und freut sich über eure Unterstützung im Sommer ;-).
Backöfen und das Dorf bezeugen heute die damalige Existenz der Familien und sollen als kulturelles Erbe erhalten bleiben. Hierzu braucht es Pflege- und bsiweilen Renovierungsarbeiten.
In den 50er Jahren wurde die Insel privatisiert. Seit 2008 ist sie dank einer großzügigen privaten Spende einer Bretonin im Besitz der Küstenschutzbehörde. So kann der kleine Schatz im Golf von Morhiban nun mit Sorgfalt instand gehalten werden.

Außerhalb eurer Arbeit auf der Insel seid ihr auf einem Campingplatz auf dem Festland, nahe der Insel untergebracht, wo ihr schlaft in 2-Personen Zelten (Zelte werden gestellt; bitte aber Luftmatratze/Isomatte und Schlafsack mitbringen).
Ihr kocht gemeinsam und beteilligt euch in Koch - und Putzgruppen an den anfallenden Aufgaben. Geld für die Verpflegung wird zur Verfügung gestellt.
Requisiti e materiali
Neben Englisch bietet dieses Camp in der Regel auch Gelegenheit, viel Farnzösisch zu sprechen. Französisch Kenntnisse sind daher von Vorteil. Es gibt einen Platz für eine Person, die älter als 18 Jahre sein darf, wenn diese als Ansprechpartnerin für die deutschen Teilnehmenden in diesem Camp fungiert.

Die deutsch-französischen Teenagecamps in der Bretagne werden von unserer französischen Partnerorganisation „La Ligue de l’Enseignement“ organisiert und durchgeführt. Bei der „Ligue“ handelt es sich um eine Organisation für außerschulische Bildung, die bereits seit 150 Jahren existiert und auf lokaler, regionaler und nationaler Ebene vertreten ist. Die „Ligue“ organisiert zahlreiche unterschiedliche Angebote im Bereich der außerschulischen Jugendbildung – etwa im kulturellen, sportlichen und allgemeinbildenden Bereich. Hierbei stellt u.a. die Organisation und Durchführung der deutsch-französischen Jugendcamps in der Bretagne ein wichtiges Aufgabenfeld ihrer Arbeit dar.
Die ijgd organisieren seit 1949 Freiwilligendienste. Wir sind ein unabhängiger, gemeinnütziger Verein der internationalen Jugendarbeit, anerkannter freier Träger der Jugendhilfe und eine der größten und ältesten Workcamp-Organisationen in Deutschland. Jedes Jahr begleiten wir rund 5.000 junge Menschen in Diensten im In- und Ausland. Help promote the Côte d'Azur stone heritage !
This year, the commune of Sospel invites you to make an active contribution to the restoration of the Château de l'Agaisen site, located on lands that host stays for minors, people with disabilities and soft tourism activities.
You'll have the opportunity to take part in the restoration of the site's restanques, but also in the development of an olive grove and the preservation of a unique hydraulic heritage, with its catchment basins and irrigation canals.
Your mission: Contribute to the creation of a floating staircase linking the two levels of the site. You'll build stone steps to facilitate movement and improve access to this historic area.
You'll also be helping to build a retaining wall some 20 m long and 1.60 m high. Initially, you'll be in charge of clearing and demarcating the construction area, using the picks and shovels provided. You will then sort the stones before starting to build the low wall.
By joining this project, you'll be supporting the Loisir Côte d'Azur association in its aim to make the site accessible to the young people they're targeting. Join us in preserving an exceptional heritage!

The “Château de l'Agaisen” site is located a few kilometers from the village of Sospel.
The grounds are mainly devoted to accommodations for minors and the disabled, and to soft tourism activities such as hiking and heritage discovery. Around the castle, you will find many terraces and olive trees.

The “Loisirs Séjour Côte d'Azur Sospel” association will take care of your accommodation ! You'll be staying in the outdoor area of the site, with access to toilets, showers and a large communal kitchen.
Meals will be prepared collectively, and you'll be able to enjoy them in an outdoor facility. You’ll cook in pairs or trios, providing a learning opportunity with a strong intercultural dimension ! A recipe book will be provided to support responsible purchasing and sustainable eating. You will be accompanied by three animators. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you'll participate in grocery-shopping and the preparation of meals, giving priority to healthy, local and vegetarian products.

Remember to bring gloves, clothes and shoes for work, as well as a swimsuit for the bravest! Don't forget to bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, etc.). Nights can be chilly, so bring a warm comforter. You can also take along recipes from your country/region, musical instruments and games.

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with the local group since 2019. This village has been welcoming "Ohenro (pilgrims)" who visit 88 temples in Shikoku since long time ago. The pilgrims walk through this village before visiting "Kakurin-ji temple"; the 20th temple out of 88 temples of the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage. However, there are problems which should be solved such as aging and depopulation of the community these days, and locals haven't been able to find solutions for those problems. On the other hand, since more and more people from overseas visit for the Shikoku Ohenro Pilgrimage locals are trying to find new ways for "omotenashi (hospitality)". Volunteers who have been working on the project have come up with ideas for the reuse of vacant and abandoned land. Local host Oi have finally decided that they can freely renovate and modify the vacant houses. Moreover, the site is in a good location, with mountains, a river and fields. It is up to the volunteers from now on to decide how to develop the project. The aim is for the volunteer members to clean up the abandoned houses and village landscape and transform it into a village that people will want to visit to take photos, as it used to be a village where people came and went since ancient times.

Children Development is one of the major programs at VIN Integrated Community Development Approach. The Goal of the Childrens development program is to protect the rights of all children by providing them access to basic quality education, developing their life skills (creativity, leadership etc.) and providing access to health and hygiene services. VIN has different projects under children s development program such as Children s Clubs (CC), Early Childhood Development (ECD), School Attendance (Teacher Development, Parenting Education, School Infrastructure Development, and Child Sponsorship), and Child Care. Even these days in Nepal, schools are focused mainly on examination and are not doing enough to develop life skills like creativity and leadership for children. Teachers only focus on reading and writing U? 1/2 rote learning. Creativity and individual differences in children are not explored. Due to the busy work schedule of parents, most of the children do not have an opportunity to socialize and be creative. These types of camps are so essential to provide life skills development opportunities to children aged between 5-12 years old. We work only with disadvantaged communities as these families cannot afford to take their children to holidays during their Winter and Summer breaks. Children don t have a proper structure and environment at home or a school to develop their innate talents. Children s camp (during winter and summer breaks) is one of the best places to explore their natural skills such as creativity and leadership. In this work camp, national and international volunteers will facilitate different types of fun and creative activities for the children where VIN works. Objectives: To provide unique opportunities for overall development (social, emotional, physical, mental, creativity) and provide a fun time for children aged between 5 and 12 utilizing their vacation period. To promote friendship, understanding, and solidarity among local young volunteers and cross-national volunteers. To provide an opportunity to understand and appreciate the Nepalese culture and traditions via cultural immersion.

We utilize permaculture for sustainable farming and have been teaching and implementing it since 2018. We believe that permaculture plays a vital role in restoring the entire ecosystem Holi, the Festival of Colors, is a major celebration in Nepal, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring. During this lively festival, people throw colored powders and water to share blessings and celebrate a bountiful harvest. Originally a Hindu tradition, Holi is now celebrated by many, including non-Hindus across South Asia and beyond. ProgramThere are diverse activities in the camp program: canoeing, water scootering, running ATV, paintball in the forest, sport games - football, rugby, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, archery, frisbee, disc-golf, trampolines, different competitions, forest cross, sport orientation in the forest on and on sea (navigation), fishing, Viking boats, bicycle trips to explore the area, visit to the horse farm with horse riding, excursions historical places of interest in the area, active games and adventure trail in Roosta Adventure Park, picnics on a seaside, building sand and stones castles on the beach, Estonian sauna party, etc. Bikes are available for the whole camp duration free of charge. WorkThere will be also some voluntary work such as painting of community buildings, making wooden toys and games for local orphanage, repairing benches and tables, cleaning local beach and old local park from garbage, planting trees, little renovation works in the local school, clearing pavement, helping seniors living in the community with some household duties, preparing fire woods for heating, berries and herbs picking to give the crop to the orphanage and seniors home, duty in a kitchen and around the camp once in a shift, etc. The work will be organised in cooperation with local forestry department, municipality of Nova and local school. Please note that the work described above is planned for the whole summer and it may change from one shift to another depending on local needs, the season and weather conditions.

AccommodationIn wooden huts set by the local school nearby the seaside (500 m away). Please bring your sleeping bag and mat. Showers, toilets are provided in the school and there will be additional bio-toilets set on camping site. You can have traditional Estonian sauna every dayCateringMeals are served 3 times a day. There are water machines with cold water in the school complex. Catering takes place in the schools mess hall or into the lager tent outside near the mess. Meals are cooked by professional cooks. However participants will be asked to help cleaning.Medical AidCamp staff members have medical certificates and are able to provide the first aid. And there is a car on call 24/7 which goes to the nearest hospital, which is 40km away, in more serious case of any emergency.

Special requirementsParticipants have to be sporty (e.g. be ready to run up to 3 km, bike up to 30 km), independent enough, curious and interested in active life style. Please inform us beforehand about allergies, dietary requirements you have or others prescriptions from your doctor. Please bring sleeping bag and mat, wind and waterproof clothes, goods shoes, warm and summer clothes. It s advisable to take thermal underwear. If possible, please take tick vaccination before coming. Generally, age of participants is 14-17, however exceptions are possible. NB Smoking, drinking alcohol, using drugs is absolutely prohibited in the camp and this policy will be followed strictly Thus, if you cannot quit smoking for a while it is probably better not to come. Camp common language is English. Local languages are Estonian and Russian.Participation feeUnlike the normal camp there will be not too much of work here. Nevertheless, participants will be provided with board, lodging, local transportation and all equipment necessary to realize camp program. Besides, program involves a lot of extra costs for excursions, trips out, visits, sport activities, equipment, materials and general administration and leadership. Since neither EstYES nor its local camp partner, does not receive financial support for this camp from municipality or private sources, to realize this camp we have to charge participation fee of 500 Euro, which covers all camp and program costs including transfer from Tallinn to and from the camp, and which has to be paid by bank transfer before the camp or by participants upon arrival to the camp. The bank details will be provided after the acceptance of the participant to the camp. NB Participants coming from outside Europe are asked to consult with us before paying fee by bank transfer to reduce high banking charges.

This camp is organized for teenagers by youth sport club Lukas-Basket which has been running national youth camps for 25 years and International ones for the past 12 years. International teenage camps will be hosted on seaside in the West of Estonia in Laanemaa County in the municipality of Nova. Beautiful nature, numerous historical places, 200 years long tradition of health resort, unique cultural events are the treasures of the County. Nova with warm sea, white sand, mushroom and berry crops, picturesque lakes, cobble stone road and many places of interest is ideal place for leisure. The aim of Nova camp is to give young people possibility to have active, healthy and meaningful summer vacations with different sport adventures, to enjoy unspoiled nature and to learn to live in harmony with it, also to explore and realize their own capacities and limits. The program will include water activities, sport and ball games, eco-hikes, bicycle trips to places of interest, horse riding, fishing, rowing, acquaintance with local culture and many other exciting things. Mens sana in corpore sano (Healthy Spirit in Healthy Body) i this is the message of the camp Besides all this, camp gives possibility for intensive contacts between local youth and their peers from abroad, showing youngsters the diversity of world cultures, broadening their horizons and encouraging active communication through games and creative activities. Finally, there will be some voluntary work for nature protection and to support local community. The area of the camp is about 3 hectares and it can host over 60 youngsters on one shift. The age of local participants is 10-18. Local teenagers are mainly Russian-speaking of minority communities of Estonia. Volunteers will be accommodated in the school s classrooms. They will have access to mattresses. The school has bathrooms and changing rooms with hot water, open 24 hours/day.Regarding food, breakfast will be prepared in the school canteen, where volunteers will have at their disposal the most varied items for its preparation. Lunches and dinners will be either in the school canteen or in local restaurants, always accompanied by the monitors

This project is part of a broader initiative to enhance the historical center, in partnership with the local municipality and heritage experts. Your involvement will help to bring this iconic site back to life and invigorate the local community.

Located in the heart of the Rhone Valley, Viviers is close to Montelimar, the Ardeche Gorges, and the gateway to Provence. You will have the opportunity to explore the region outside of work hours. Concordia facilitators will help organize leisure activities in collaboration with the group. Options include local hikes, visits to the market, and cultural excursions.
For swimming, the Viviers municipal pool may be an accessible option to cool off. Natural swimming sites such as Pignedore Lake in Pierrelatte or the beaches of the Ardeche Gorges are also possible, though they require longer travel times and cannot be planned on a daily basis.
We encourage sustainable mobility: as there may not be a minibus available, travel will be arranged collectively using the available means (walking, carpooling, or public transport where feasible).

You will be accommodated at Clos Saint Roc, a former cloister dating back to the 13th century. Located in the medieval quarter, near Viviers Cathedral, the accommodation is just a five-minute walk from the worksite.
The accommodation is in a house with several shared rooms. Mattresses will be provided. However, if you have a thick and comfortable mattress, you are encouraged to bring it for added comfort. It is also essential to bring your own sleeping bag suited to summer temperatures.
A fully equipped kitchen is available for use. Meals will be prepared collectively, with everyone taking turns cooking, cleaning, and organizing daily activities. Ingredients will be sourced locally, with an emphasis on seasonal and short supply chain products.
There is no washing machine on site. However, a laundromat is available about a seven-minute walk away. The cost of laundry services is the responsibility of participants. The accommodation has Wi-Fi access.

Foreigners that are part of the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate.
