Volunteers will work on creative workshops with the goal of producing various artistic creations. There will be workshops such as painting, playing music, photography and filmmaking. The auditive and visual works will be presented on an exhibition in September in Novi Sad (second largest city in our beautiful country and the one where culture means the most, although the rest of the country also has strong feelings about it) and Sremski Karlovci, hopefully (negotiations are still in progress).

"Eco Camp Fruška Gora" is a unique oasis located on Fruška Gora ("Mountain of Franks", in our old language), 3 km from Sremski Karlovci, at the foot of Stražilovo (famous picnic area with numerous paths for walking, made eternal by one of our greatest poets from Romantic period-Branko Radičević, who was student here). It is situated 70 kilometers from Belgrade and 17 kilometers from Novi Sad. The camp was established with the aim of offering its visitors a well-organized space for rest, socializing, and recreation in nature. For full comfort, the camp includes complete sanitary facilities, shower cabins, stoves, a refrigerator, running hot water, electricity, and free internet access — all of which are especially important for visitors staying for an extended period. When it comes to leisure activities-everything is possible, so it is just to the group preferencies-hiking tours, excursions to Sremski Karlovci (old cultural capital of all Serbs; 1699. famous peace treaty between Austrian empire and Ottoman empire was signed right here, on that place the Chapel of Peace is built that still stands; today it is a modern center of wine production and the place with numerous museums; oldest and the most beautiful Serbian high-school that is still active is founded here) and Novi Sad (present day cultural capital of Serbs, it is creatively called "Serbian Athens", and not just them-more than 20 nationalities live here, it is real center of interculturalism, which was recognized by Europe declaring it European capital of culture for 2022.; numerous museums, galleries, exhibitions-the beautiful one about great and sadly-forgotten Mileva Marić Einstein, wife and colleague of Albert is active on the impressive fortress of the city, vivid pedestrian areas with a lot of interesting to offer give warm welcome to everyone), nights around camp-fire... Wonderful! Bring only positive attitude and all the rest will be solved easily always!

The volunteers will be accommodated in tents, some in individual and some in shared with others (they will be provided for you, but if anyone wants to bring their own, it is perfectly alright). Three meals a day will be there for everyone and volunteers will also take part in their preparation.

No specific requirements needed, but it will make your life easier if you bring sunscreen, adequate clothes and mosquito repellent as it gets hot and humid during the summer in Serbia.

Legambiente per l’estate 2025, in Abruzzo, promuove dei campi di volontariato che hanno come obiettivo il recupero e la valorizzazione dei sentieri che erano parte delle antiche vie tratturali, infrastrutture legate alla storia millenaria degli agricoltori e dei pastori sulle montagne, e alla tradizione della transumanza, inserita dall'UNESCO nella Lista del Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale. I volontari aiuteranno nella pulizia dei sentieri situati nell'area del Convento di San Pasquale (nel bosco di Vallaspra), la cui fondazione risalirebbe al 1408. Gli interventi consistono nella sistemazione e pulizia del sentiero e nel recupero di alcuni tratti interrotti dalla vegetazione. Lungo il percorso sarà predisposta nuova segnaletica per consentire una migliore fruizione del percorso.
Lavoro
I volontari lavoreranno per circa 6 ore al giorno. I lavori si svolgeranno prevalentemente nelle prime ore del mattino. Gli interventi consistono nella sistemazione e pulizia del sentiero e il recupero di alcuni tratti interrotti dalla vegetazione. Lungo il percorso sarà predisposta nuova segnaletica per consentire una migliore fruizione del percorso. Cuore del campo sarà anche il contributo all'organizzazione di una festa tradizionale nel centro storico di Atessa, "Corti Antiche", un percorso di scoperta dei sapori del territorio ma anche delle vie, delle piazzette e delle ruelle di Atessa. Ogni anno sono migliaia i turisti, visitatori e curiosi che approfittano di questa magica serata per scoprire il buon cibo e la bellezza degli angoli e degli scorci del centro storico della città. Verranno organizzati spettacoli di musica, teatro e danza e allestimenti d’arte. Il filo conduttore dell’evento (e quindi degli spettacoli e degli allestimenti d'arte) è legato alla sostenibilità, con un tema diverso ogni anno. I volontari del campo guidati dal Circolo locale aiuteranno nella realizzazione e nella riuscita green di tutto l'evento.

Atessa si trova sulla collina che guarda la val di Sangro, a metà strada tra la Costa dei Trabocchi e la Majella. La storia dell'unione dei due villaggi longobardi di Ate e Tixa, da qui Atessa, fa riferimento a una leggenda molto antica, legata al patrono della città San Leucio d'Alessandria e a un drago mitologico. A pochi chilometri dal centro storico, in località Vallaspra, si trovano immersi nel bosco il Convento di San Pasquale e la chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli, luogo che trasmette un forte senso di appartenenza, d'identità religiosa, spirituale e culturale. Il Comune di Atessa crede fortemente in Corti Antiche, un evento che valorizza la bellezza del centro storico e che promuove i prodotti enogastronomici di qualità del nostro territorio, importanti anche per l'economia locale. Atessa accoglie i volontari vestita a festa per il periodo più vivace dell'anno tra luci e musica.

Per questo campo sono richieste buone capacità manuali e una piccola dose di creatività visto che si lavorerà anche agli allestimenti creativi di un evento di festa. Importante è la flessibilità, lo spirito di adattamento, la predisposizione al lavoro di gruppo e alla vita comunitaria.

Legambiente Geo A.P.S. nasce ad Atessa nel 1989 grazie all’entusiasmo di un gruppo di giovani volontari. Da oltre 35 anni la nostra associazione si occupa del miglioramento della qualità ambientale e culturale del nostro territorio al fine di soddisfare il bisogno di partecipazione, coesione e conoscenza delle persone. Negli ultimi anni abbiamo combattuto contro il traffico dei rifiuti, il consumo di suolo, per la salvaguardia del fiume Sangro e dell'ambiente della Val di Sangro. Abbiamo favorito la nascita del SIC/ZSC Monte Pallano e Lecceta d'Isca d'Archi, luogo di eccellenze ambientali e archeologiche. Legambiente gestisce il CEA Casanatura Fontecampana, luogo di educazione alla sostenibilità per persone di ogni età. Dal 2017 gestisce il Centro del Riuso del comune di Atessa.

After the Chinese nvasion in 1950, the Dalai Lama, Tibet’s political and religious leader sought and was given asylum in India, along with thousands of Tibetan refugees. Today, there is a thriving settlement in Dharamshala, which is called Tibet-in-exile. To learn about Tibetan culture and religion, there are many places of interest at Dharamshala. Tsuglagkhang, Mcleodganj the residence of the Dalai Lama
is a must-visit, as are the Tibet Museum, Dalai Lama temple, Tibetan Parliament House, Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, War Memorial and Kangra Art Museum. The Tibetan Children’s Village, a charitable organisation, caters to children who are in the greatest need among the refugees. For the last 5 decades, it has run solely on the generosity of its well-wishers. At Gyuto and Namgyal Monasteries, you can interact with the Tibetan monks and get valuable insights into the peace-loving Buddhist philosophy. La ville de Saint-Mihiel organise des chantiers de bénévoles pour restaurer des murs et murets en pierre-sèche, qui ont été reconstruits trop vite et peu durablement après les Guerres Mondiales. Pourtant, ils font le charme de la ville et représentent aussi des refuges importants pour la biodiversité (insectes et oiseaux viennent s'y installer). Aujourd'hui, l'ensemble est inscrit au titre de zone naturelle d'intérêt écologique et sa protection est assurée par l'Etat.
La mission consiste à restaurer les murs et murets de la Promenade des Capucins, au nord de Saint-Mihiel, afin de leur redonner leur aspect originel et sécuriser les chemins. Sur les murs maçonnés, les bénévoles devront enlever l'ancien mortier, réparer fissures et trous, et appliquer un nouvel enduit à la chaux. Ils rehausseront les murs et poseront des couvertines (enduit ou tuiles) qui permettront de protéger durablement les murs. Pour les murs en pierre-sèche, il faudra démonter et trier les pierres, parfois les retailler, et surtout les assembler avec soin en vérifiant leur stabilité. Le travail se fera en équipe, guidé par un professionnel qui transmettra les techniques traditionnelles de maçonnerie. Attendez-vous à un travail parfois physique, incluant la manipulation de pierres et l’application de mortier. Certaines tâches se dérouleront en hauteur. En période de forte chaleur, les travaux se limiteront aux matinées.
The town of Saint-Mihiel organises volunteering workcamps to restore dry-stone walls and small stone structures that were rebuilt too quickly and unsustainably after the World Wars. They add to the town's charm and serve as important refuges for biodiversity, providing homes for insects and birds. Today, the entire area is recognised as a natural zone of ecological interest, and its protection is ensured by the state.
The mission involves restoring the walls and small stone structures of the Promenade des Capucins, located to the north of Saint-Mihiel, in order to return them to their original appearance and secure the pathways. For the masonry walls, volunteers will need to remove the old mortar, repair cracks and holes, and apply a new lime plaster. They will also raise the walls and install coping stones (plaster or tiles) to protect the walls in the long term.
For the dry-stone walls, volunteers will dismantle and sort the stones, sometimes reshaping them, and most importantly, carefully reassemble them while ensuring their stability. The work will be done in teams, guided by a professional who will teach traditional masonry techniques
Be prepared for physically demanding work, which will include handling stones and applying mortar. Some tasks will take place at height. During periods of intense heat, work will be limited to the mornings.

Les bénévoles logent à la Base de Loisirs de Saint-Mihiel, située à 20min à pied de la Promenade des Capucins. Ils partagent les lieux avec un centre de loisirs local, et des vacanciers installés en caravane ou en tentes aux alentours. Les espaces dédiés aux bénévoles du chantier sont privatisés.
Au-delà des temps de chantier, les volontaires participent ensemble à l’organisation de la vie collective. Souvent réparti·e·s en équipes, ils·elles élaborent les menus, participent aux courses, préparent les repas et s’assurent de la propreté des espaces communs.
Véritable acteur·ice de ton expérience, tu participeras aussi à la prise de décisions concernant les activités collectives et l’organisation du quotidien !
Volunteers are accommodated at the Saint-Mihiel Leisure Center, located 20 minutes on foot from the Promenade des Capucins. They share the space with a local recreation center and vacationers staying in caravans or tents nearby. The areas dedicated to the project volunteers are privatised for their use.
Beyond the working hours, volunteers come together to organise daily life on the camp. Often divided into teams, they plan menus, help with the shopping, prepare meals, and ensure the cleanliness of shared spaces.
Fully involved in shaping your experience, you will also take part in decision-making regarding group activities and daily organization!

This summer workcamp in Penaguila invites motivated teens to contribute to the recovery of the local natural and cultural heritage. After a recent fire damaged part of the Phytoclimatic Route leading to the historic Jardin de Santos, volunteers will help restore this unique botanical area through tasks such as gardening, environmental clean-up, painting, manual restoration, and replanting.
In addition, participants will support the local museum, help with maintenance tasks, and engage in creative work to beautify public spaces. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to connect with the community by organizing a weekly visit to a local senior center, sharing moments and activities with the elderly.
The project is coordinated in close collaboration with the Penaguila Town Hall, so tasks may also include other helpful activities according to the town?s needs. This workcamp offers a meaningful and hands-on way to make a difference, learn new skills, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of this charming mountain village.

One of the highlights of the village is the Jardin de Santos, a 19th-century botanical garden that once flourished with exotic species and romantic pathways. Although partially damaged by a recent fire, it remains a symbol of local pride and will be the focus of restoration during the volunteer project.

Volunteers will stay in a basic apartment with bunk beds, a kitchen, and bathrooms. The apartment also has access to a pool for relaxing during free time.
Food will be provided by De Amicitia. Volunteers will have the opportunity to cook together with the campleaders, creating meals as a team.

Volunteers will be involved in manual outdoor work such as gardening, painting, and restoration, often under the summer sun. Participants should be proactive, physically fit, and comfortable with outdoor tasks. No experience is needed, but a positive attitude and willingness to work are essential.

During 1st week volunteers would join us in our headquarter which is based at a rural location where they have opportunity to live & experience a typical mountain village culture, their lifestyle and during process join our ongoing initiatives like NFE, women empowerment, NRM (Protection of fresh water sources), organic farming etc. During 2nd week the group would move to Mcloedganj in Dharamshala which is a touristic town and also Secretariat of Tibetan Government in exile. Over here they would visit Tibetan, monasteries, museum, schools and join language classes with Tibetan monks. There is a likelihood that we may take up some cleanliness work or some other activity. Otherwise, this week will be more of touristic and culture sharing.

(1st week) RUCHI Campus at village, Bandh of Solan district and (2nd week) in the town of Mcloedganj in Dharamshala, a tourist hub. In the first week, Nearby Kasauli town is a major attraction. A visit to Shimla will offer an opportunity to see high Himalayan Mountains and British architecture. During 2nd week, the volunteers will visit Dharamshala, the headquarters of Tibetan Government in exile. Opportunities will be there for short and long treks in the mountains. After the camp, if they like, volunteers may visit Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab.

Volunteers will live in shared accommodation in both places. The minimum basic amenities will be available. Vegetarian food will be served but in the town you will have access to non-vegetarian meals as well. A cook will be there but volunteers are expected to help him and occasionally cook their own meals and self-management is required.

Your help is needed to prepare space and facilities for the 18th Fokus Festival. An alternative 2-day festival (15th – 16th August) with several stages, many workshops, a speakers corner, food and drinks! Please watch one of the aftermovies on YouTube (@SecondAttempteV) to get an impression of the Festival. You are invited to work together in international teams, composed of employees of RABRYKA and other volunteers from Goerlitz. During working hours you can create fancy furniture for the visitors, colorful decoration for the stages and the festival area, do some gardening or lead through your own ideas. Whether you like painting, crafting, working, gardening, cooking or designing- whatever you like, we’ll find a task for you. It would be great if the group could contribute something special for the Fokus Festival, for example decorating a graffiti wall. During the festival itself volunteers will offer support by filling shifts at the bar, the backstage control or as a runner. Goerlitz is situated at the very east of Germany. After WWII, it was divided and the area in the east of the river Neisse is now the autonomous town Zgorzelec and part of Poland. Volunteers will get a guided tour through Goerlitz and will learn about its eventful history. Moreover, you will learn about the current network of initiatives in the city, which offers a wide range of cultural and social work. "RABRYKA" is a unique space for youth culture and social life, situated in an abandoned factory ground. You can see it as an open space for all kinds of youth and social culture. The head organisation of the RABRYKA is the “Second Attempt e.V.”, which highly motivates people to develop the civil society of Goerlitz. Everyone is invited to join meetings that focus on the vision of a society, which respects the values of tolerance, equality and cross-cultural empathy. RABRYKA is a fictional word connecting the Polish word for factory – fabryka and the first letter of red. Red are the bricks of the buildings of the former factory.

For the summer of 2025, in Abruzzo, Legambiente is promoting volunteer camps aimed at the recovery and valorisation of paths that were part of the ancient transhumance routes, infrastructures linked to the tradition of seasonal movement of livestock and dry stone buildings, testimony to the millenary history of farmers and shepherds of the Apennines. The volunteers will contribute to cleaning the path that connected the small town of Archi and reaches Pallano. The works include the arrangement and cleaning of the path and the recovery of some sections invaded by vegetation. Some dry stone walls will be restored along the route.

Volunteers will work on restoring the paths, eliminating vegetation that has invaded parts of the path and recovering neglected sections, to bring them back to life. In collaboration with a local association, ancient dry stone walls will be recovered, so as not to lose this important testimony declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2028.

The Legambiente Geo A.P.S. association was born in Atessa in 1989 thanks to the enthusiasm and the care of a group of young volunteers. Since 35 years our association deals with the improvement of the environmental and cultural quality in our area in order to satisfy the need of participation, cohesiveness, knowledge and identity of people. During the last years we have fighted against waste trade, land consumption, for the Sangro river safeguard and the Val di Sangro evironmental quality. Thanks to our devouted and determined work, we set up the SIC Monte Pallano and Lecceta d’ Isca d’ Archi area. It is a place where environmental and archaeoligical excellences coexist. Legambiente, in this area, manages Casanatura Fontecampana center, a place where people of any age can meet each other and share their love for nature and environment and broaden their knowledges about them through various activities. Since 2017, tanks to volunteers, Legambiente runs the recycling center in Atessa.

Location: The workcamp will be held at the Early Baroque rectory in Blansko, near Kaplice, located along the Malše River at the foot of the Novohradské Mountains. Perched atop a hill, the rectory offers a panoramic view of Kaplice and stands next to the Church of St. George. While the current building dates back to the 17th century, its history extends to medieval times. The site also features farm buildings, including granaries and barns, as well as a spacious rectory garden. The nearby town of Kaplice, just 1.5 km away, provides amenities such as a cinema, library, restaurants, sports facilities, and shops.
Leisure time: In their free time, volunteers can explore the nearby town of Kaplice, just 1.5 km away, offering a cinema, library, restaurants, sports facilities, and shops. For nature lovers, a scenic trail runs along the Černá River leading to the Hradiště hill lookout tower. Those interested in history can visit several nearby historical sites, with the stunning town of Český Krumlov only about 25 km away.
Study part: A planned excursion to Tichá Fortress will include a lecture on its reconstruction, providing insight into historical preservation. Volunteers will also attend a lecture on historical paintings and their restoration, gaining a deeper understanding of traditional art conservation. Additionally, there is a possibility of an excursion to the Velešín Museum, where they can explore local folk culture and heritage.

Volunteers will be accommodated directly in the parish building, staying in rooms that accommodate 3-4 people each. Hygiene facilities include two toilets and one shower within the building. Volunteers should bring a sleeping bag, towel and indoor slippers. The accommodation provides Wi-Fi and a microwave, but there is no washing machine. Meals will be prepared communally at the parish, with volunteers taking turns assisting in the kitchen. The cuisine will primarily feature traditional Czech dishes, including meat, but special diets such as gluten-free or vegetarian can be accommodated if needed.

This camp is organized for teenagers by youth sport club Lukas-Basket which has been running national youth camps for 25 years and International ones for the past 12 years. International teenage camps will be hosted on seaside in the West of Estonia in Laanemaa County in the municipality of Nova. Beautiful nature, numerous historical places, 200 years long tradition of health resort, unique cultural events are the treasures of the County. Nova with warm sea, white sand, mushroom and berry crops, picturesque lakes, cobble stone road and many places of interest is ideal place for leisure. The aim of Nova camp is to give young people possibility to have active, healthy and meaningful summer vacations with different sport adventures, to enjoy unspoiled nature and to learn to live in harmony with it, also to explore and realize their own capacities and limits. The program will include water activities, sport and ball games, eco-hikes, bicycle trips to places of interest, horse riding, fishing, rowing, acquaintance with local culture and many other exciting things. Mens sana in corpore sano (Healthy Spirit in Healthy Body) i this is the message of the camp Besides all this, camp gives possibility for intensive contacts between local youth and their peers from abroad, showing youngsters the diversity of world cultures, broadening their horizons and encouraging active communication through games and creative activities. Finally, there will be some voluntary work for nature protection and to support local community. The area of the camp is about 3 hectares and it can host over 60 youngsters on one shift. Your work days will be balanced with moments of relaxation. When the summer heat peaks, you can cool off in nearby lakes. The camp is based at AlviE(ra, which offers a range of activities to connect people with nature, such as community gardens, wildlife workshops, school programs, and hikes. As part of the camp, volunteers help maintain the center through tasks like gardening, renovating the house and other projects such as removing old fences to protect wildlife, marking walking paths, and potentially do forestry work like trimming or planting trees.This camp combines learning, sharing, hands-on work and fun. Volunteers should be ready to adapt and be flexible with the work and free-time schedule. Depending on the weather, we may not be able to perform some of the activities as planned.

The accommodation is located an hour drive south-east from ReykjavEk. The house serves as an environmental-educational centre and sits under IngElfsfjall, The Mountain of IngElfur, with a view of EyjafjallajEkull where the volcanic eruptions began in March and April 2010. The place is registered as natural Icelandic heritage; the nature, vegetation and birdlife is rich in variety and quantity. The volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful and beautiful location with a small stream and a pond nearby. Hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage can be found throughout the area, which is a popular attraction among both foreign and local visitors. The nearest town, Selfoss, only 10 minutes-drive away, with 6500 inhabitants, is a centre of commerce and small industries where you find a geothermal swimming pool, shops, museums, cafEs and bars.

Get involved in the conservation of medieval heritage in the small town of Allegre, a small historical village in the middle of Auvergne region. This year, we will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Allegre?s workcamps.
You will participate in the development of the Medieval Garden, which started a few years ago and is pursued by volunteers every summer. The purpose of this year's workcamp is to build an elevated walkway to connect the track to the new entrance, and to install wooden barriers as a guardrail to prevent people walking on the pathway to fall out.
The garden is ideally situated at the foot of the village ramparts, high up, with a beautiful viewpoint! It is made up of several areas: a vegetable garden, an orchard and a small patch for medicinal and magical herbs called "carre des simples".

Allegre (around 1000 inhabitants) is a small town located in the Haute-Loire County in the Auvergne region, 30 km from Le-Puy-en-Velay city, in the Natural Regional Park of Livradois-Forez. Its alleyways are picturesque with red roofed houses, built on the slopes of an extinct volcano, the "Mont Bar". From the preserved ruins of the Castle at the top end of the village you can overlook hundreds of kilometres of countryside!
You will have the chance to go swimming in lakes, attend local celebrations and take part in outdoor leisure activities.

You will be accompanied by two camp leaders throughout your stay.
Your accommodation will be located at the municipal stadium, near the campsite, which is a 20 minute walk from the village. You will sleep in an individual tent (provided by Concordia) set up in the grass, near the facilities. You will have a kitchen in a room inside the stadium and a large collective tent for socializing.
The group will be sharing the different tasks of collective life together. The budget will be allocated to the group leaders and you will participate in the preparation of meals, run errands from the market and local producers. Wi-Fi available in the campsite and in the village. Laundry will be hand-washed.

Bring work clothes, walking boots, a backpack and a swimming suit. Nights can be chilly, so bring warm clothes and a good sleeping bag. You can also bring recipes from your home country, musical instruments and games. You will get around Allegre by foot, car and punctually minibus.
Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Get involved in the restoration of a traditional wash-house in Nogent-sur-Vernisson, a small town in the Gatinais region known for its remarkable landscape!
Several washhouses are located along the stream that flows through the village. As part of a project to enhance the value of this heritage, the municipality wants to restore a wash-house which has been degraded.
Your mission will be to rebuild some parts of the typical tiled roof. You will also have to restore wooden parts and the traditional wall coating. In this way, you will help to give to this heritage a new life, for the delight of residents and curious passers-by.

The city of Nogent-sur-Vernisson is located at about a hundred kilometres south of Paris, in the heart of the Gatinais orleanais, known for its large national forests and its farmland. It is a territory with a very rich history. In addition to the National Arboretum of Les Barres, you will be able to discover the towns and castles of the region during your free time, especially the towns of Montargis and Gien, which are easily reachable by public transportation. The city of Paris is also accessible by train.

The accommodation will be a 15-minute walk away from the work camp area. You will have an individual tent (provided by Concordia). Inside the municipal gymnasium, you will have access to toilets and showers. A kitchen will also be available for you to prepare your meals. The whole space will be at your disposal for your activities and to retreat in case of bad weather. Together with the animation team, you will participate in grocery-shopping and cooking, prioritising local and seasonal products and vegetarian meals. A washing machine or a laundromat will be available (it is still recommended to bring 2 weeks of clothes). Wifi will be available in the town hall or by hotspot with the French volunteers and the animation team.

The construction site is located in a rural area. For practical and ecological reasons, travels will be on foot or by bicycle.
Remember to take gloves, clothes and shoes suitable for outdoor work. Don't forget to bring a sleeping bag and a floor mat. You can also use a pillowcase as a pillow by filling it. Also remember to bring summer and rain clothes, as well as your swimsuit and toiletries.
You can bring board games, a music instrument or any other object from your country/region that you wish to share with the group.

Questo campo si inserisce in un più ampio progetto di Legambiente Abruzzo dedicato alla valorizzazione e tutela della transumanza, riconosciuta dall’UNESCO come Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale dell'Umanità. Questa antica pratica pastorale ha modellato per secoli il paesaggio e l’identità dell’Abruzzo, intrecciandosi con la vita di agricoltori e pastori che hanno lasciato segni tangibili della loro storia lungo i tratturi e nei borghi.
Durante il campo, i volontari si occuperanno della pulizia e manutenzione degli antichi sentieri, un tempo parte delle vie tratturali, ripristinando percorsi storici che collegano Bomba con Monte Pallano e il Lago di Bomba. Inoltre, contribuiranno alla cura e valorizzazione di alcune aree del centro storico, attraverso interventi di recupero su spazi comuni e strutture caratteristiche.
Un’attenzione particolare sarà dedicata alla tutela delle architetture spontanee in pietra a secco, come muretti, ricoveri e strutture rurali, testimonianze di un sapere

La ristrutturazione del sentiero richiederà un impegno manuale da parte dei volontari, che lavoreranno per circa 6 ore al giorno. Le attività comprenderanno la pulizia e la sistemazione del percorso che collega Bomba a Monte Pallano fino al Lago di Bomba, con interventi mirati alla rimozione della vegetazione invasiva e al recupero di tratti interrotti.
Oltre alla manutenzione dei sentieri, i volontari contribuiranno anche alla cura di alcune aree del centro storico, migliorandone l’accessibilità e l’aspetto complessivo.
Infine, per facilitare la fruizione del percorso e valorizzare il territorio, verranno posizionati cartelli informativi e segnaletica lungo i sentieri e nei punti di maggiore interesse storico e naturalistico.

La sua posizione strategica e la presenza di sorgenti d'acqua hanno favorito l'insediamento dell'uomo nella zona: come testimoniano i resti dell'insediamento dell'antica Pallanum e le imponenti Mura Megalitiche, sono state rinvenute dagli archeologi tracce della presenza umana dal Paleolitico al Neolitico e al periodo ellenistico-romano. Attività formative
Durante il campo, oltre alle attività pratiche, verranno organizzati momenti formativi dedicati alla scoperta del territorio e del suo patrimonio storico, culturale e ambientale. I volontari avranno l'opportunità di approfondire la tradizione della transumanza, la storia del borgo e delle sue architetture spontanee, nonché l'importanza della tutela del paesaggio.
Saranno previsti incontri con esperti locali, escursioni guidate e attività di sensibilizzazione per comprendere il legame tra natura e comunità e il valore della conservazione ambientale. Questi momenti di formazione permetteranno ai partecipanti di acquisire nuove conoscenze e di vivere un’esperienza più consapevole e coinvolgente nel territorio.

Il circolo Legambiente Green Lake APS, nasce nel 2022 del sentimento comune di cittadini di uno stesso territorio diviso in più comuni. Il territorio focus è quello del Lago di Bomba, che merita molto di più rispetto alla situazione in cui riversa, sotto il punto di vista sociale, ambientale ed economico.I principali comuni , che vengono bagnati dalle acque del lago, sono 5 Bomba: Bomba, Colledimezzo, Pietraferrazzana, Villa Santa Maria e Pennadomo. Il territorio è un ampio spot di biodiversità, partendo dalla presenza di diverse aree SIC/ZPS/ZSC, istituite dalla rete natura 2000, il fiume insieme al lago è una delle principali rotte migratorie ed inoltre si è confinanti con il Parco Nazionale della Majella. Eliminare campanilismi e limitare azioni dannose, sono gli obiettivi del circolo.

MOVE is a workcamp NGO founded in 2006. Yayasan Chow Kit (YCK) is a non-profit organization that caters to the needs of children in and around Chow Kit. They run two drop-in centers in Chow Kit and one safe home for children who are in need of temporary guardianship. YCK operate in partnership with Ministry of Women and Child Welfare. YCK developed out of Nur Salam and was incorporated in 2011. The past workcamps since 2018 Sep. have been successful and in 2024, 48 vols. from Japan, Mexico and Italy joined 4 workcamps with creating great impact!

Volunteers will join the summer festival called TORO NAGASHI that is a memorial service for ancestors by making lanterns named TORO and floating them down a river. Volunteers will make large TORO (2 x 2 meters) for the festival in this workcamp. Project aims to mobilize the local community with workcampers. With your help, we would like to carry out urgent work to preserve the historic railway station site. Nature is reclaiming what once belonged to it and working against memory. Together with your help and the support of the village, we want to fight against oblivion and make the station grounds visible again. The work you carry out will take place outside and is mostly horticultural: this means physical labour with hoes, saws and spades to clear the site of wild growth and bushes. Work can be physically demanding!
During the work you will have the opportunity to learn a lot about the place and to talk to the local people and hear how they perceived the different periods. The Jamlitz railway station is also run in cooperation with the nearby Lieberose Memorial in Jamlitz and the young residents are often involved in its upkeep. You can also become active at the memorial site and help to maintain the greenery and work against forgetting.
In our bicycle workshop, you can repair bicycles and take them on trips to the nearby Schwansee lake and through the meadows and forests.

Jamlitz is situated in a very rural location and has many exciting things to offer in addition to relaxing nature, bathing lakes and a historic landscape that can be explored on foot or by bike. At the end of the 19th century, Berlin artists discovered this place and founded an artists' colony, which still characterises the identity of the village today. During the National Socialist era, a large military training area was to be built here. The project met with resistance from the local population and was never completed. However, a satellite camp of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp was built, which sadly earned the village a reputation as one of the most important sites of the Shoah in Brandenburg. After liberation from National Socialism, both the camp and the military training area continued to be used by Soviet troops. The railway station was at the centre of all these events and today bears witness to the different areas.
You will have the opportunity to get to know the history in various ways. On guided tours and seminars, through conversations with locals and explorations on your own, you can uncover and understand the overlapping layers.
We also think together about which excursions and activities can be organised. Whether a visit Cottbus or Eisenhüttenstadt or Berlin is up to you.

Volunteers will be accommodated in the former railway station, there are rooms with several beds, sleeping bags must be brought along. We will cook and eat together with the residents of the railway station. If you want, you can spend the night in a tent, we can set up tents for this purpose.

Please bring a sleeping bag, possibly a pillow, towel, with you. You will need work clothes, rain gear and sturdy, closed shoes. As it can get cold at night in August, even in summer, please bring warm clothing. Don't forget sun protection in case of strong sun. For your free time, please bring a swimming costume, music, your talents and something specific from your life.
The project is in a very rural location. There is a swimming lake about 15 minutes away by bike. Volunteers should be able to cycle and swim safely.
Alcohol and drugs are not permitted in the project itself. After registration, we require a self-declaration on child and youth protection.

The “Justus Delbrück Haus” | Akademie für Mitbestimmung (Academy for Co-determination) in the former Railway Station Jamlitz is an open place where everyone is welcome and can take part in events such as exhibitions, cinema evenings and other events. The organisation Karuna e.V. (Future for children and young people in need) bought the disused railway station in Jamlitz in 2008 and transformed it back into a lively place. Several organisations are now working together here, filling the past, present and future with life. You will find both a historical site rich with stories to tell and a vibrant space for exchange, where, in addition to educational programmes, leisure activities also take place. Moreover, a residential community for former homeless and decoupled young people has been established. In cooperation with the Lieberose memorial site in Jamlitz, socially disadvantaged children and young people in particular get the opportunity to escape everyday life, take advantage of artistic, historical and experiential educational programmes and experience a democratic and self-determined life. The railway station is located far away from large cities and is surrounded by forests and lakes, meadows and fields. This is very conducive to working with the young people and is part of the educational concept. “Arrive and simply be in the here and now”.
