The work will be consisted of 3 parts. First one concerns painting of 10 informative signs with protective material. After that, they will be put onto planned locations. Second task will be preparing wooden baskets for trash (the volunteers will assemble the parts first) and placing them at specific positions, so the visitors can throw the trash in the right spot. Third one will be two big actions of cleaning the lake area, so everybody can enjoy in beautiful nature.

Lake Gruza (Gruza; pronounced: Gruzha) is located in the central region of Serbia, in the municipality Knic, not far from Kragujevac, regional center, that uses the water from it for drinking. It is surrounded by beautiful nature (even intact in many places), so the guests like to come here often (especially on weekends)! The water is rich in fish, especially carp and pikeperch. Also, this zone is a home for many rare and protected birds (IBA area).
The camp will take place on the edge of the lake, practically, in the center that is suitable for lectures, but also outdoor activities. In the center, there is permanent exhibition "Life in water", that is about different water organisms that live in Serbia and Yugoslavia/Balkan area.
Educative workshops will be organized, as well as some excursions, but more details on that will be written in the Infosheet.
In every case, bring a positive attitude, meeting people from other cultures is really important to the host!

The volunteers will be accommodated in the Eco-informative center "Jezero Gruza (Lake Gruza)". There will be 2 possibilities, to sleep in the tents in front of it and inside the center on mattresses. In both cases, everything will be provided (tents and sleeping bags in first case and bed-linens in the second). Still, if you bring your own, we will not make any problems. Haha.
Food will be provided from local farmers and volunteers will have the opportunity to make some meals for the others. Still, there will be no pressure about it.
Requisiti e materiali
There are no specific requirements, but if you want to make your Life easier, bring sunscreen, adequate clothes and mosquito repellent as it gets hot and humid during the summer.

Ekomar is an association whose goal is promotion and ecological marketing of natural resources. It is founded in 2015. and from that moment they work diligently on spreading the ideas of good ecological practices. Their focus is mainly on the work with youngsters through different projects and programmes. Important outcome of the efforts in last years is the informative Eco-center on the lake Gruza, whose aim is to educate people about the importance of water eco-systems. Every year thousands of kids visit the center, where they can learn a lot about different ecological topics. The team has biologists, ecologists and pedagogists.
Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. Voluntary Service of Serbia is a volunteer exchange service center founded in 1990 as one of the sectors of YRS.

In the mornings, you'll help renovate the farm where our animals live. These activities will include removing the old and deteriorated fence, cleaning and preparing the terrain, creating new poles with wood and installing the new fence with long-lasting materials, strengthening the access areas to facilitate the circulation and care of the animals, and some final details such as safety adjustments and various decorative elements to give more vibrancy to the farm. Volunteers will experience life in this vibrant community while supporting various hands-on projects. You will be joining us in renovation work on our buildings and be part of this exciting "participatory construction site." Zukunftsdorf Waldhof is located in a peaceful, rural setting, surrounded by forests and nature. Within 3 km range, you’ll find an old castle and a beautiful reservoir lake, perfect for walks, hiking trips, and outdoor relaxation.
There will be plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful natural surroundings, take long walks in the forest, visit the historic castle, or swim in the nearby reservoir lake. Volunteers will also be welcome to participate in community-organized activities such as fireside music, creative workshops, and social gatherings.

Volunteers will stay in a simple mattress dormitory shared across multiple rooms. A kitchen will be available for the participants to prepare their own breakfast and dinner, while lunch will be cooked and enjoyed together with the community on weekdays and Saturdays.

This project requires moderate to good physical fitness and a willingness to engage in hands-on work. Previous experience in construction, renovation or gardening is helpful, but not required. Volunteers should bring sturdy work clothes that can get dirty, solid shoes, and a sleeping bag.

This summer, we will launch a project to enhance the outdoor area of the kindergarten in Großenmarpe, a small village close to Blomberg. One of the key features of this project will be the transformation of a construction trailer into a cozy café. With your help, we will create a meeting place for children, parents, and the entire village community. Volunteers will work together with the parents of the children and with professional workers. You will work with woodworking tools and get creative with paint.
The Großenmarpe Kindergarten and Family Centre is a facility for children aged 1 to 6 years. Our goal is to create a welcoming and engaging environment where families can come together, enjoy refreshments, and foster a sense of community.
We invite volunteers and participants to join us in this meaningful project, where we will not only beautify the outdoor space but also create a place for social interaction and connection. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families in Großenmarpe!
Besides this manual work, volunteers will interact with the kids. Be ready to bring some games you play in your country.

For your free time, we have planned a vibrant program like in previous camps, with excursions to interesting places in the region. Volunteers will participate in a workshop about rhythm in music with Hakim Ludin. He was born and raised in Afghanistan, has lived in Germany for many years, and has developed into a musician with an international reputation. A small group of young, underage refugees live near the accommodation. They will be happy to meet international volunteers. In the past, these interactions have always been very enriching! We are looking forward to many applicants and an exciting time ahead.

Since 2009, we have successfully organized workcamps in Blomberg in cooperation with the town hall. The result has been numerous wonderful projects that have enriched our community. One of the highlights from two years ago was the successful implementation of a nature project at a local kindergarten. With the help of professional support and, of course, the enthusiastic workcamp participants, the children now have a beautiful “experience garden” where they can learn and play in nature.

Dal 2017 Legambiente e Diversamente Marinai sono impegnati nella campagna “Vele Spiegate”. In questo contesto Diversamente Marinai propone campi di volontariato in barca a vela di una settimana nell'Arcipelago Toscano. Il progetto prevede la pulizia delle spiagge poco accessibili via terra, il monitoraggio dei rifiuti, il monitoraggio e il controllo delle tracce delle tartarughe marine Caretta Caretta, inoltre andremo alla scoperta dei sentieri che incontreremo nelle insenature dove ci fermeremo e mapperemo quelli che non sono presenti sulle carte. Il progetto mira alla conoscenza del mare attraverso la navigazione e alla creazione di team affiatati e motivati. Per questo i partecipanti impareranno la marineria antica e a farsi equipaggio a bordo di un ketch a vela del 1922. Inoltre, saranno formati sulle principali linee guida in termini di sostenibilità ambientale della fruizione del mare. Non ci può essere vera salvaguardia dell’ambiente senza saper apprezzare il paesaggio naturale. Il campo di lavoro vuole realizzare interventi concreti per migliorare la qualità ambientale mostrando all'equipaggio come vivere sul mare e con il mare sia un’esperienza indimenticabile. Le attività del campo sono arricchite dalla pratica quotidiana della riduzione degli sprechi che la vita di bordo comporta e dalla possibilità di spostarsi utilizzando prevalentemente il vento. Vele Spiegate è un progetto inserito nella Carta Europea del Turismo Sostenibile del Parco Nazionale Arcipelago Toscano per il periodo 2021-2025. Didattica della vela e la vita di bordo: l’attività prevede un corso di primo livello di navigazione a vela e conduzione di un’imbarcazione storica, attraverso la sperimentazione diretta delle nozioni acquisite.
Pulizia e monitoraggio delle spiagge accessibili solo dal mare: il progetto prevede la pulizia di alcune spiagge difficilmente accessibili via terra, attraverso la rimozione dei rifiuti. In tale occasione saranno anche monitorati i rifiuti attraverso la tecnica del Beach litter riportando dati e riflessioni su appositi moduli, fornendo dati che saranno utilizzati per scopi scientifici.
Ricerca e monitoraggio delle tracce della tartaruga Caretta caretta: i partecipanti impareranno a riconoscere le tracce della tartaruga e saranno impegnati anche nella ricerca delle stesse e nella sensibilizzazione di cittadini e turisti.
Mappatura sentieri: verrà monitorato lo stato dei sentieri che collegano le principali vie sentieristiche dell’isola alle spiagge e insenature, raggiungibili prevalentemente a piedi, e presso le quali faremo sosta con la nostra imbarcazione; e eventuale pulizia o segnalazione delle criticità riscontrate

L'Arcipelago toscano è formato da un gruppo di sette isole maggiori, di cui la più grande è l'isola d'Elba, più alcune minori, secche e scogli situati tra la terraferma toscana e la Corsica. L'arcipelago è bagnato da quattro mari: il mar Ligure a nord dell'isola d'Elba, il canale di Piombino a est, il mar Tirreno a sud e il canale di Corsica a ovest delle coste elbane. Il canale di Corsica e il canale di Piombino possono essere considerati come canali naturali di collegamento tra il mar Ligure e il mar Tirreno, rispettivamente a ovest e ad est dell'isola d'Elba.

Acquisizione delle conoscenze veliche di base per la conduzione di un’imbarcazione in sicurezza. Acquisizione delle conoscenze di base di marineria storica. Incremento della conoscenza di alcuni ambienti naturali dell’Arcipelago Toscano e della sua biodiversità. Apprendimento relativo alle emergenze ecologiche dell’ecosistema marino e costiero e correlazione con le abitudini di consumo e trattamento dei rifiuti. Attività formative di base volte al riconoscimento delle tracce della tartaruga marina (Caretta Caretta).

I partecipanti alloggeranno su un ketch a vela in legno del 1922 di 16,5 metri. I pasti verranno preparati in barca e si seguirà un'alimentazione prevalentemente vegetariana.

This camp combines learning, sharing, hands-on work and fun. No previous experience is needed. Volunteers should prepare to share environmental issues from their countries and be ready to spend time outdoors, walking medium to long distances during the cleanups, and during other activities such as sightseeing. PROJECT: The Environmental Awareness and Action project is part of a series of camps organised by SEEDS in cooperation with different partners. SEEDS collaborates with the Icelandic Ministry for Environment and Natural Resources, the City of Reykjavik, and several local stakeholders on a project to clean up the Icelandic coastline. Partners include the Blue Army, an organisation dedicated to the cause of coastal cleaning, SORPA, the waste collection and management entity in the capital area, and Whales of Iceland, an exhibit showcasing life-size models of whales and porpoises to educate the public about their lives and the impact of human activity on their existence.This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through non-formal activities such as workshops, discussions, presentations and visits, as well as to contribute directly to environment protection by joining outdoor cleanup tasks. These cleanup tasks may be arranged in partnership with the above mentioned organisations or run solely by SEEDS. We also aim to involve the local community, so some of our events may be open to the public. We hope participants will learn how to plan and carry out their own trash cleaning projects back at home. This project is based on similar activities around the world, where outstanding results have been achieved with volunteers. Volunteers can choose one of the two options below, included as hands-on volunteering activity in the camp:A day trip combining a visit to the Hellisheioi geothermal power plant, a trash collection in the area, and the Hot River Hike, a hike up a valley filled with hot springs where one can bathe. A day trip to the Reykjanes Peninsula, combined with a coastal cleanup in the area.Please note that all activities are subject to weather conditions and the availability of our partners.

LOCATION: The accommodation is located an hour drive south-east from ReykjavEk. The house serves as an environmental-educational centre and sits under IngElfsfjall, The Mountain of IngElfur, with a view of EyjafjallajEkull where the volcanic eruptions began in March and April 2010. The place is registered as natural Icelandic heritage; the nature, vegetation and birdlife is rich in variety and quantity. The volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful and beautiful location with a small stream and a pond nearby. Hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage can be found throughout the area, which is a popular attraction among both foreign and local visitors. The nearest town, Selfoss, only 10 minutes-drive away, with 6500 inhabitants, is a centre of commerce and small industries where you find a geothermal swimming pool, shops, museums, cafEs and bars.

You can also go up to the Chapel of Notre Dame de Beauvoir, a listed historic monument, which overlooks and offers an exceptional view of the village and the Verdon valley. You will meet earthenware artisans and visit the museum in the town. The residents, community volunteers and elected officials will come to meet you and will be happy to share their territory with you.

Since 2021, the commune of Moustiers has been hosting international volunteer workcamps to preserve and enhance its natural and historical heritage.2021-2022: Restoration of the Madeleine cave trail, an emblematic site popular with visitors. This work has improved access, safety and the aesthetics of the trail.2024: Work on the apies walls, testimony to local beekeeping know-how. The work involved cleaning the access path, restoring the steps and laying new stones to preserve this unique heritage.Following the success of these workcamps, the commune of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of France s most beautiful villages, is keen to welcome a new team of volunteers to help enhance its rich heritage.

The Electra power station in Viesgo began operating at the beginning of the 20th century and was responsible for supplying energy to Cantabria.
Conservation and maintenance practices will be carried out on the accesses and machinery installed there, such as: cleaning, sanding, painting... All of this related to industrial heritage. Another part of the intervention consists of the recovery of the old engine house. In addition, the park of La Central in Puente Viesgo will be presented.

Puente Viesgo is a pretty village of the Autonomic Community of Cantabria, situated inside the ‘Valles Pasiegos’ and just half an hour and 31km from Santander. One of the most beautiful touristic attraction is the ‘Art Rural Centre’ which was created for spreading the archeologic and prehistoric heritage as it has got the ‘Monte Castillo’ caves complex, divided in four caves although only two of those are opened for visiting (‘La Cueva de las Monedas’ (coin cave) and ‘La cueva del Castillo’ (castle cave)). It also has a spa that takes advantage of the medicinal waters of the spring.
The aim of the complementary activities will be to promote solidarity, coexistence, equality and participation:
- A full touristic, cultural or sportive excursion day to the beach.
- A thematic workshop of Cantabria’s cultural heritage.
- A cave visit near the location
- A biking activity.
- A surfing activity.
- A hiking route activity.
- A workshop in equality.
- A workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals.

Lodging will be at the Albergue Pas in Aés (2 km from Puente Viesgo). Barrio Quintana s/n, 39670 Aés.
Accommodation in shared rooms, bunk beds, communal showers and bathrooms, swimming pool and multipurpose romos.
Meal service will include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alternative menus may be provided by justified reasons, which must be specified at the time you book the activity. The meal will be in pic-nic format when there is any outing and excursion.

In almost all places in Germany, there are gravesites from the Second World War that commemorate the victims of war and tyranny. This is also the case in the municipality of Apen in Ammerland. In various small village cemeteries, 14 graves of soldiers aged 17-21 who died just a few days before the end of the war have been preserved. These graves are to be restored and repaired. Your tasks will include cleaning the weathered stones and rebordering the gravesites. Under the guidance of a historian, you will engage in biographical work and historical research and set up information boards with QR codes to raise awareness of commemoration, remembrance and a culture of peace.
The accommodation is approx. 6 to 7 km away from the various work locations. You will be provided with bicycles for the journey to work and for leisure activities. You cycle from Nordloh to Apen in about 20 to 30 minutes, but there are also minibuses available for transfers to the individual work sites.

The seminar house is in a very rural location, but surrounded by beautiful nature. Bicycles are available for excursions in the surrounding area - the house is located directly on the ?Fehn-Route?, a popular long-distance cycle route. 3 km away is the seafaring village of Bar?el with shopping facilities and a harbour worth seeing. It is 16 km to the climatic health resort of Bad Zwischenahn with the lake ?Zwischenahner Meer?. There is an outdoor swimming pool in Hengstforde, 6 km away. The towns of Leer, Emden, Oldenburg and Bremen are easy to reach by train. Together with young people from Apen, you will go on a canoe trip.

You will definitely be a part of history of these villagers that fought for their nature in this area!
Work itself will be divided into cleaning and arranging paths that lead up to some nice viewpoints of Stara planina ("The old mountain" in Serbian) as well as the local natural swimming pool "Ženski vir" (Women vortex). Also, you will help to clean the spot for creating small picnic area at the top of the hill nearby, where the view on the surroundings is magnificent. Taking care of the river will also be your task during these days.
Second part will be the support in organization of the festival for nature lovers - arranging the centre of village, setting up the stage and info counters, while on the days of the festival, volunteers will support the workers in handing out flyers and in the whole production.

Topli Do, one of the most remote villages of the municipality of Pirot (1 hour drive from there), is located in the Stara planina nature park under its highest peak, Midžor (2,169m).
The village is one of the most authentic villages on Stara planina (it is officially inside the Stara planina Nature Park). Only 7 km from the village is the peak Babin zub (1,759 m) and the famous ski resort Jabučko ravnište. The village is reached from the direction of the village of Temska, where you pass through the canyon of the river Temštica ("Little Colorado"), certainly one of the most beautiful and attractive canyons of this type in Serbia.
What makes Topli Do and its surroundings stand out from other old mountain villages is the abundance of waterfalls, unique in many ways in Serbia. A special attraction about 4 km from the village is the Piljski waterfall - 64 m. About 8 km from the village there is another interesting waterfall, Kurtulski - 27 m high.
In every case, we recommend you to bring just patience and smile and it will be one great adventure!

Accommodation for volunteers will be provided in the adapted building of the agricultural cooperative "Topli Do" - the mountain lodge Topli Do. Accommodation is provided for volunteers in three four-bedded rooms. Blankets and bedding are provided. The building of the mountain lodge itself is a village building adapted for these purposes and is used as a lodge for adventurers and mountaineers throughout the year. The home has a toilet, a bathroom and a shower with hot water.
The local partner, the "Stojanovic" farm, will prepare meals for volunteers and other festival participants during the camp and the festival. Meals will be served in the canteen in the premises of the agricultural cooperative Topli Do, just across the accommodation.

"I love Topli Do" is a community of people who love the beauty of untouched nature, Topli Do and Stara planina. Their wish is to protect Topli Do as a natural oasis of freedom (it is declared as Free eco-zone, where no investor and comercial tourism are welcome) and to encourage the development of tourism and a healthy way of life and thinking in Serbia. One of the goals of the association is to prevent the village from further dying, by restoring new life through various projects. The association brings together Toplodolci (people born in Topli Do and those who trace their origins to this village), but also includes Toplodolstvo - friends and enthusiasts from all over Serbia and the region. United, they want to renew life in the countryside and return to tradition and untouched nature in order to seek inspiration and energy for modern challenges.
Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. ProgramThere are diverse activities in the camp program: canoeing, water scootering, running ATV, paintball in the forest, sport games - football, rugby, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, archery, frisbee, disc-golf, trampolines, different competitions, forest cross, sport orientation in the forest on and on sea (navigation), fishing, Viking boats, bicycle trips to explore the area, visit to the horse farm with horse riding, excursions historical places of interest in the area, active games and adventure trail in Roosta Adventure Park, picnics on a seaside, building sand and stones castles on the beach, Estonian sauna party, etc. Bikes are available for the whole camp duration free of charge. WorkThere will be also some voluntary work such as painting of community buildings, making wooden toys and games for local orphanage, repairing benches and tables, cleaning local beach and old local park from garbage, planting trees, little renovation works in the local school, clearing pavement, helping seniors living in the community with some household duties, preparing fire woods for heating, berries and herbs picking to give the crop to the orphanage and seniors home, duty in a kitchen and around the camp once in a shift, etc. The work will be organised in cooperation with local forestry department, municipality of Nova and local school. Please note that the work described above is planned for the whole summer and it may change from one shift to another depending on local needs, the season and weather conditions.

AccommodationIn wooden huts set by the local school nearby the seaside (500 m away). Please bring your sleeping bag and mat. Camp common language is English. Local languages are Estonian and Russian.Participation feeUnlike the normal camp there will be not too much of work here. Nevertheless, participants will be provided with board, lodging, local transportation and all equipment necessary to realize camp program. Besides, program involves a lot of extra costs for excursions, trips out, visits, sport activities, equipment, materials and general administration and leadership. Since neither EstYES nor its local camp partner, does not receive financial support for this camp from municipality or private sources, to realize this camp we have to charge participation fee of 500 Euro, which covers all camp and program costs including transfer from Tallinn to and from the camp, and which has to be paid by bank transfer before the camp or by participants upon arrival to the camp. This camp is organized for teenagers by youth sport club Lukas-Basket which has been running national youth camps for 25 years and International ones for the past 12 years. International teenage camps will be hosted on seaside in the West of Estonia in Laanemaa County in the municipality of Nova. Beautiful nature, numerous historical places, 200 years long tradition of health resort, unique cultural events are the treasures of the County. Nova with warm sea, white sand, mushroom and berry crops, picturesque lakes, cobble stone road and many places of interest is ideal place for leisure. The aim of Nova camp is to give young people possibility to have active, healthy and meaningful summer vacations with different sport adventures, to enjoy unspoiled nature and to learn to live in harmony with it, also to explore and realize their own capacities and limits. The program will include water activities, sport and ball games, eco-hikes, bicycle trips to places of interest, horse riding, fishing, rowing, acquaintance with local culture and many other exciting things. Mens sana in corpore sano (Healthy Spirit in Healthy Body) i this is the message of the camp Besides all this, camp gives possibility for intensive contacts between local youth and their peers from abroad, showing youngsters the diversity of world cultures, broadening their horizons and encouraging active communication through games and creative activities. Finally, there will be some voluntary work for nature protection and to support local community. The area of the camp is about 3 hectares and it can host over 60 youngsters on one shift. The age of local participants is 10-18. Local teenagers are mainly Russian-speaking of minority communities of Estonia. This project is actively working for SDGs 10 (Reduced Inequalities), organized together with Malaysian Organization of Volunteer Exchange (MOVE) since 2019 in this place. MOVE is a workcamp NGO founded in 2006. Bernice Home was found by a lady by the name of Bernice. She started this home for senior citizens who need quality home care services to seniors with limited mobility or dementia and hence social interaction. She started this home in 2000 and the second home in 2018. The founder belief “life shouldn’t end when you are old, it should be full of happy memories regardless of the age. The founder wants to keep the seniors active and engaged through physical, mental and social activities, all in the comfort of their home.The workcamp was revived in 2023 and in 2024, 8 volunteers from Japan and Hong Kong did great work!

Come to our camp if you feel that…
You are a young lover of the environment and heritage recovery. Your volunteer work will contribute to recovering rural roads to connect population centres and the restoration of the old fountain of Lozoyuela. This will mean that you can participate in activities in which you will connect with nature and local culture, as well as improving the accessibility and transitability of routes for residents and visitors of the municipality. The young participants will have the opportunity to participate in environmental awareness campaigns and restoration work on the old fountain.
Why participate in our field?
Stone Roots… will provide you with an enriching and educational experience in which you will develop a series of actions aimed at recovering and renewing the legacy of the Sierra Norte. Young people will work as a team to participate in meeting spaces based on respect and coexistence, promoting sustainable practices and respect for the environment.
During this period, you will have the opportunity to discover the northern mountains of Madrid, one of the most natural and authentic areas of the Community of Madrid.
For 15 days, you will be able to enjoy a special and different vacation.

Each day of the camp will have a program completed by local coordinators and volunteers will be helping to realize it. The main activities will be intercultural learning through finding differences and similarities between Estonia and countries, where volunteers come from (history, traditions, language, singing, dancing, etc). It will be done through art, games, drama, sport, discussions. We expect active volunteers with the good knowledge of history and culture of their country and ability to present it. Volunteers would lead workshops connected with their cultural expression during 5 days of the camp, which may culminate with small performance on the last day of the project. The duration of each workshop is 2 hours. You do not have to be professional, the most important that it is enjoyable and fun Besides, each volunteer has to run one cultural night to present own country and culture to others. After placement volunteers will be contacted by organizers to get involved and guided in the preparation of the program before arrival to Estonia. Volunteer will work in partnership with professional local educators and youth workers - 25 staff members.

Special requirementsYou have to love kids and be well motivated to work with them. The work demands 24-hours commitment and it can be pretty hard sometimes. Weekend is not free Experience in work with children is an advantage. We expect active volunteers with good knowledge of history and culture of their country and ability to present it. Moreover, volunteer should be good enough in some art to be able to lead a workshop for kids. All exciting ideas of activities for kids, games etc are welcome. English and Russian are the camp languages.Participation feeWe ask participants to contribute 50 Euro each towards the costs of general administration. Tallinn youth centre Youth Club Active runs children s camp in Vihasoo for over 30 years. The aim of Vihasoo camp is to give children possibility of active and meaningful summer vacations. The base of Vihasoo lies 70km from Tallinn. The camp is located on the territory of Lahemaa National Park. The wonderful nature, proximity to the sea (about 100m), good facilities i all this makes Vihasoo camp ideal place for leisure. Such location brings children closer to nature and gives them an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with Estonian national heritage richly presented in the area. Each summer period of the camp has its own theme. The purpose of this one is to discover different countries and cultures through artistic expression which could be dancing or singing, national style party, music or art of any kind i anything volunteer is good at. The idea is to have intercultural diversity to be presented to kids. We want to give children opportunity to discover differences in cultures, that they can learn it and reflect after. To achieve this aim Vihasoo camp invites international volunteers to join it as animators. Most of children are Russian-speaking from minority communities of Estonia. The area of the camp is 1,8 ha. It can host about 80 children on one shift. The age is 13-16. This camp named Our Theme is designed to introduce children to modern contemporary art trends and cultural expressions in a fun and engaging way. Over eight days, participants will explore a variety of artistic styles, including hard bass, body art, rap, beatboxing, tectonics, C-Walk, breakdance, hip hop, drums, shuffle, and more. Talented artists and experienced mentors will lead interactive workshops and masterclasses, helping children develop new skills, express creativity, and gain confidence in artistic self-expression. The highlight of the camp is a final live performance, where participants will showcase their newly acquired talents during an open event at a local club, inviting the public to join in a lively party and disco. Together we will continue to expand the mine tour route. The aim of this project is to highlight the discharge chimney, which allowed the dumping of fill into the wagons, at the time when the mine was still exploited (from the medieval period until the 20th century). To do this, there will first be the removal of backfill at the top of the chimney which will be followed by the construction of a dry stone wall to support the vaults. Secondly, we will build a small stone staircase. There will be 4 working days per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This work does not require any particular skills and will be supervised by a technical supervisor.

The hamlet of the Vallauria mine is located at an altitude of 1500 metres. The site is in the middle of the mountains, crossed by the river. We are 10 km from the village of Tende 06430 (2 hours from Nice by train) and 50 km from Ventimiglia (Italy).
In addition to the weekend, one day in the middle of each week will be devoted to discovery and entertainment activities. You will discover the mountain environment, with its fauna and flora and the surrounding hikes (hiking on the archaeological site of the Vallee des Merveilles in the Mercantour National Park). You will have the opportunity to discover the historical and cultural heritage of the region, visit the surrounding villages and meet the inhabitants of the valley. You can also do sporting and thrilling activities such as canyoning, via ferrata, climbing, etc. We will organize activities and entertainment on site according to the wishes of each person in the group.

The accommodation is located on the construction site. You will be accommodated in dormitory rooms with 4 to 6 beds equipped with mattresses, pillows and bathroom facilities. Please bring your sleeping bag. You will participate in the collective and daily life of the group and the place. Food is provided in the budget, and meals will be prepared by you in turn, accompanied by the group life facilitator and in a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. You will participate in cleaning dishes and tidying up dining areas and the kitchen. Specific foods may be requested in order to cook typical dishes from each country or region. It is also possible to request vegetarian meals.

The Neige & Merveilles association welcomes you to the heart of the Mercantour National Park at an altitude of 1,500 m to work in the Vallauria mine, which is part of the archaeological, historical and scientific heritage of the Alpes Maritimes. This silver lead and zinc mine justifies the mining archeology studies and the conservation and development work that we have been carrying out with the municipality of Tende for around ten years. Its medieval part represents an exceptional geological heritage, inseparable from that represented by the Mercantour park and the archaeological riches of the mythical Vallee des Merveilles, a soon to be classified UNESCO site, located a two-hour walk away.

This is the 26th year (the year after big jubilee, and 24 year short for the next big one) that this camp has been active in YRS and this long-lasting tradition speaks for itself. After 20 years, the Glossy Ibis was spotted in the Obedska pond, bird that is so important to this wetland area. It is one of the few places in Europe where you can see it and that's why the role of volunteers is so crucial in helping to maintain the area.
The work consists of taking out invasive species and bushes while cleaning up the wetland soil that enables it to be inhabited by various species. It is ecological project on a larger scale, so keep in mind that you will have to "destroy" a lot of small trees and plants in order to make space for the other ones (that are not so "agressive"). It will give the opportunity for diversity, although it might not seem like that, so for those who can't stand to look and do that, this will probably not be the right place.

Kupinovo is a village located in the municipality of Pećinci, Serbia. As of 2011 census, the village has 1,866 inhabitants. It is near the famous biodiversity area, the Obedska bara (Obedska pond or bog). Kupinovo is a place rich in cultural and historical sights. The most interesting are: Kupinik Fortress, a medieval fortification from the 14th century, the Church of Saint Luke from the half of the 15th century (the oldest Serbian church in the area), the Church of Mother Angelina from the 16th century and the ethno-complex with objects of folk architecture.
The end of village is the beginning of a huge forest, so pleasant walks can be taken daily. Also, the important river Sava is very near, so going to its banks, can also be one relaxing leisure activity. Swimming is possible, although the beach is not big and decorated.
Since the village is not full of activities and local youth is not numerous, days can be really long there (which suits to some people that seek a quiet place to have rest of fast civilization, but is terrible to the others who want constant dynamic constellation), so be aware of it. Depending on the group preferences, different activities can be organized. At least one visit to Belgrade (capital of Serbia and jewel of world culture) will take place (there are many buses during the day).
In surroundings there are few museums and aqua-parks, but the transport is not great, so some creativity and flexibility in planning is always welcome!
In every case, the project can be wonderful, but also boring, it is up to the group (it is the best and worst reviewed camp we have, depending on year and every person's point of view), so we recommend you only to bring patience and smile, because with them you will be in the first part, among those who had unforgettable adventure in remote Serbian village with friendly locals!

The volunteers will either stay in two renovated ethno-houses in Ethno Park in Kupinovo, either in the house where previous village offices were (the precise information will be in the Infosheet). In every case, it will be on beds inside.
The food will be prepared for the volunteers by local housewives, with the accent on national cuisine (a lot of meat prepared in creative ways, but vegetarian meals will be possible, of course).

There are no specific requirements, but if you want to make your life easier, bring sunscreen and the mosquito repellent.

Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. Voluntary Service of Serbia is a volunteer exchange service center founded in 1990 as one of the sectors of YRS.
