Help preserve Montferrat's local heritage!
Located in the north-east of the commune of Montferrat, the Pierrepont spring is a place of refreshment for many villagers during the summer. With the aim of restoring the site's hydraulic heritage, an important element in the history and life of the village, you'll be tasked with clearing and demarcating the area to be rebuilt using picks and shovels; resuming the foundations on the sections requiring it; sorting the stones and assembling a hard base; building the low wall leading to the spring.
Take part in the enhancement of this committed and culturally rich commune, while making unforgettable encounters!

Montferrat (commune of approx. 1700 inhabitants) is located in the Var (83) department in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region.
Just 15 km from Draguignan and 5 km from Chateaudouble, the village is nestled among wooded hills, in an unspoilt natural setting. The Pierrepont site is a fifteen-minute walk from the town center.
Your volunteer work will be punctuated by a variety of cultural and natural activities: discovering the region and its specialties, hiking, nature sports, meeting local people... and much more!

Accommodation will be in tents provided by Concordia in the outdoor area of the stadium. This will be a large field with grass and shady trees. Access to the stadium's showers, kitchen and WC is included.
You'll share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together, outdoors in a summer kitchen or under the small covered facility. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you'll help with the shopping, giving preference to healthy, local produce.
Requisiti e materiali
Bring work clothes, hiking boots and a swimsuit. Nights can be chilly, so take warm clothes and a good sleeping bag. You can also bring recipes from your country/region, musical instruments and games.

Help preserve the heritage of Chateaudouble, a small medieval Provencal village typical of southern France. For lovers of nature, hilltop villages and heritage!
The village hosts a number of cultural events at its open-air Theatre de Verdure, on an esplanade overlooking the village and its listed monuments, with a magnificent unobstructed view.
As the site is vast, a number of restoration projects are planned, with the main aim of building the dry-stone wall adjoining the Chateaudouble open-air theater, and the secondary aim of constructing the steps to demarcate the passageway.

Overlooking the Nartuby gorges in the Haut Var, Chateaudouble has preserved its authentic medieval appearance. The village invites you to explore its narrow streets, wander between the houses and climb up to the castle ruins on the Sainte Anne plateau.
Chateaudouble offers a wide range of leisure activities, including visits and walks, swimming in the rivers and gorges, kayaking in the gorges or at sea, hiking, local sports such as petanque, and participation in the various village festivities.
As the commune is isolated with little public transport, the vast majority of activities will take place on site. Outings to the gorges and/or the sea can also be organized.

You'll be housed in tents (provided by CONCORDIA) on the Plateau de Sainte-Anne, adjacent to the Theatre de Verdure, with access to the former Sainte-Anne chapel, now a multi-purpose hall with toilets and an indoor kitchen and dining area. As we don't have a bathroom on site, we'll be installing solar-powered showers. Laundry will be done by hand.
You'll share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together, either in the outdoor summer kitchen or under the small covered facility. A budget will be allocated to the organizers, and you'll help with grocery-shopping and meal preparation, giving priority to healthy, vegetarian, local products.
Requisiti e materiali
Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Children Development is one of the major programs at VIN Integrated Community Development Approach. The Goal of the Childrens development program is to protect the rights of all children by providing them access to basic quality education, developing their life skills (creativity, leadership etc.) and providing access to health and hygiene services. VIN has different projects under children s development program such as Children s Clubs (CC), Early Childhood Development (ECD), School Attendance (Teacher Development, Parenting Education, School Infrastructure Development, and Child Sponsorship), and Child Care. Even these days in Nepal, schools are focused mainly on examination and are not doing enough to develop life skills like creativity and leadership for children. Teachers only focus on reading and writing U? 1/2 rote learning. Creativity and individual differences in children are not explored. Due to the busy work schedule of parents, most of the children do not have an opportunity to socialize and be creative. These types of camps are so essential to provide life skills development opportunities to children aged between 5-12 years old. We work only with disadvantaged communities as these families cannot afford to take their children to holidays during their Winter and Summer breaks. Children don t have a proper structure and environment at home or a school to develop their innate talents. Children s camp (during winter and summer breaks) is one of the best places to explore their natural skills such as creativity and leadership. In this work camp, national and international volunteers will facilitate different types of fun and creative activities for the children where VIN works. Objectives: To provide unique opportunities for overall development (social, emotional, physical, mental, creativity) and provide a fun time for children aged between 5 and 12 utilizing their vacation period. To promote friendship, understanding, and solidarity among local young volunteers and cross-national volunteers. To provide an opportunity to understand and appreciate the Nepalese culture and traditions via cultural immersion.

VIN s Environmental and Conservation Programs raise community awareness of critical environmental issues and develop effective solutions. VIN runs various ecological projects that aim to conserve, promote, and protect the environment and culture while preventing, mitigating, and controlling water, land, and air pollution to enhance the health, safety, and welfare of current and future generations. We utilize permaculture for sustainable farming and have been teaching and implementing it since 2018. We believe that permaculture plays a vital role in restoring the entire ecosystem Holi, the Festival of Colors, is a major celebration in Nepal, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring. During this lively festival, people throw colored powders and water to share blessings and celebrate a bountiful harvest. Originally a Hindu tradition, Holi is now celebrated by many, including non-Hindus across South Asia and beyond. The festivities include gathering with family and friends, playing music, and enjoying special foods and drinks. Volunteers help prepare and celebrate the Holi festival in the community.

You will be accommodated in tents (provided by Concordia) at the municipal stadium, which is a 5-minute walk from the worksite! Group life will be organized nearby in a room provided for the group. There, you will share the various group tasks and activities. Together, you will participate in organizing group life (cleaning, activities, etc.) and take turns preparing meals using products you will purchase locally. The activity leaders will have a budget to cover these expenses, but you will be responsible for preparing the menus and doing your own shopping. A vegetarian diet using local and seasonal products will be preferred, while respecting the participants' dietary requirements and allowing you to discover local cuisine.

You'll be working to protect the local flora and fauna while enjoying a unique experience combining nature and culture. From 15th to 17th July, you'll be helping to set up the Jazz Festival, and then spending the rest of your stay taking part in ecological actions at the RBC (Municipal Biodiversity Reserve) de la Craie (2.5 km from the campsite). On the programme: creation and restoration of ponds, development of a mudflat, installation of wildlife shelters (nest boxes, bat houses, perches). Your commitment will contribute directly to preserving an ecosystem rich in amphibians, dragonflies, birds and bats.

You will sleep in tents for 1 or 2 persons at the Melle municipal campsite. Mattresses will be provided. You must bring your own duvet and pillow. A Tivoli (large arbour) will be available with all amenities (fridge, gas cooker, cooking utensils, etc.). You will have a vehicle at your disposal for any mobility in the region. Food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner (you will have a food budget which the leaders will manage and communicate with you throughout the work camp). Enjoy being outdoors! The main task of the project will be to improve the outdoor infrastructure so that even more people enjoy spending their leisure time outdoors and in nature.
• You will be installing benches at various points along the edge of paths or forests - in some places this will first require clearing work and the construction of a foundation, while in other places existing wooden benches or picnic areas will simply be renovated.
• You will renovate a wooden shelter for hikers. This includes woodwork and painting as well as wood and roof maintenance.
• To motivate children in particular to spend their free time outdoors, you will maintain an existing playground in the middle of the forest and add some new play equipment.
• To complete all these small tasks you will also improve the surrounding of your accommodation. This will include landscape gardening and renovation work.
The group of volunteers will be split up in the two different tasks every day. You are also invited to support the local festival team during their village party.

The workcamp will take place in the small village Schwarzerden, which belongs to the community of Freisen. Freisen is situated in the north of Saarland in a rural area. You can find many interesting places in Freisen: a historical railway, cultural and natural sights, a small zoo, a spa bath (but only few of them in Schwarzerden). The local villagers are already looking forward to getting to know you and to welcoming you at the local village festival. We will do our best to arrange excursions with the support of locals but due to the poot public transport they will for sure be limited. The project is perfect for volunteers who enjoy being outside and in nature.

The accommodation provided is the former centre of the sports club of Schwarzerden. It is now in public use for bigger events in this village. All necessary facilities are a hall for sleeping, a kitchen, toilettes, showers… Camping beds are provided but please bring your sleeping bag! If the weather is fine, you have the opportunity to eat and chill outside. Attention: This place is quite isolated; the village of Schwarzerden is 1km away. Next to the accommodation you can find the sports ground, you can use it whenever you want. You will have a beautiful view over the valley; you will be surrounded by forests and meadows. Just make a campfire and enjoy nature.
Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow (if required). Your group of volunteers will be responsible for grocery shopping and cooking together. The food will be bought with the camp budget and everybody will take turns for cooking, washing the dishes and cleaning. In order to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat and try more sustainable dishes.

The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.

In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

The extra fee has be paid by card ( in the exceptional cases we can accept bank transfer as well) 3 weeks before the camp as a confirmation of participation.
If we don't recieve the fee and the flight/bus tickets of the volunteer, we will consider that she/he will not attending to project and we will give opportunity to other volunteers that are on the waiting list.

Help restore a hut at the heart of the ?hunters' site? in the south of France!
The commune of Puy-Saniere would like to restore the ?hunters' hut?, a structure overlooking the Lac de Serre-Poncon, and through which many hikers pass. Once used as a base for hunters, this structure is part of the commune's rural heritage and could also become a shelter for walkers.
You'll be taking part in the restoration of the hut's enclosure during a 3-week international work camp. At the end of your work, the walls will extend over 24 linear meters, allowing the hut to become a used shelter again!

Puy-Sanieres is a commune in southern France, located on the southern flank of Mont Guillaume (2,552 m), at the southernmost tip of the Ecrins massif. It lies in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region, near the Serre-Poncon lake.
The site of the ?hunters' hut? is located a few kilometers away from the center of the village of Puy-Sanieres, on land mainly devoted to pastoralism and soft tourism activities.
The site will be punctuated by leisure activities, such as discovering the region and its specialities, hiking and other sporting activities, as well as opportunities to meet the local population.

You'll be accommodated outside the hut, in a large shady area where tents (supplied by CONCORDIA) will be pitched to provide shelter from the elements. A party room is also available, with access to WCs and a covered kitchen. Telephone reception, but no WIFI.
Meals are prepared either in an outdoor kitchen or in the covered kitchen. You'll share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the animators and you will participate in the shopping and preparation of meals, giving priority to healthy, vegetarian and local products.

The Commune would like to restore the Moulin de Viollins, located along the Biaysse torrent and a popular passageway for hikers.
You're invited to take part in the process of giving the mill a new lease of life.
On the program: site clean-up to prepare the work area, removal of collapsed roof elements, removal of deteriorated walls, sorting of stones, deconstruction of unstable wall sections, repointing of masonry...The aim of your work will be to restore the mill's perimeter walls, in particular by sorting materials and laying a sloping glacis.

This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Mairie de Freissinieres and the Parc des Ecrins, who, following the restoration project in the Mercantour Park in 2024, have shown an interest in supporting the projects planned for 2025. Working with the organising team, your work will be to fit out and embellish the site so that it can accommodate groups of young people, the public, and the artists. LOCATION: The accommodation is located an hour drive south-east from Reykjavik. The house serves as an environmental-educational centre and sits under Ingolfsfjall, The Mountain of Ingolfur, with a view of Eyjafjallajokull where the volcanic eruptions began in March and April 2010. The place is registered as natural Icelandic heritage; the nature, vegetation and birdlife is rich in variety and quantity. The volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful and beautiful location with a small stream and a pond nearby. Hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage can be found throughout the area, which is a popular attraction among both foreign and local visitors. The nearest town, Selfoss, only 10 minutes-drive away, with 6500 inhabitants, is a centre of commerce and small industries where you find a geothermal swimming pool, shops, museums, cafes and bars.

This is the eighteenth year (since 2008) that SEEDS has organised a series of International Photography projects and we began organising these camps for teenagers in the year 2010. Throughout the year, participants from all over the world come to Iceland for an immersive photography-focused learning camp. SEEDS coordinators help participants to develop their unique photographic skills through workshops and feedback sessions on technical settings, compositional considerations, and creating conceptual frameworks that highlight each participant s individual style. Participants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant will be selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods, and laptops, if possible. While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture through active participation: capturing it, engaging with it, and showcasing their work throughout the camp. One of our goals is to empower young people to use photography to highlight environmental and cultural subjects and issues.Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.

This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through non-formal activities such as workshops, discussions, presentations and visits, as well as to contribute directly to environment protection by joining outdoor cleanup tasks. We also aim to involve the local community, so some of our events may be open to the public. We hope participants will learn how to plan and carry out their own trash cleaning projects back at home. This project is based on similar activities around the world, where outstanding results have been achieved with volunteers. Volunteers can choose one of the two options below, included as hands-on volunteering activity in the camp:1. A day trip combining a visit to the HellisheiE(i geothermal power plant, a trash collection in the area, and the Hot River Hike, a hike up a valley filled with hot springs where one can bathe. 2. A day trip to the Reykjanes Peninsula, combined with a coastal cleanup in the area.Please note that all activities are subject to weather conditions and the availability of our partners.This camp combines learning, sharing, hands-on work and fun. Il campo si svolge nello splendido scenario dell’Area Marina Protetta Penisola del Sinis – Isola di Mal di Ventre, istituita nel 1997 a tutela di questo territorio costiero delicato quanto prezioso. Il comune di Cabras, gestore dell’Area Marina Protetta, da anni è impegnato in un importante percorso di conservazione della biodiversità e della tutela del mare, dedicando risorse allo sviluppo di un turismo sostenibile e responsabile, puntando quindi sull’uso rispettoso del mare e del territorio da una parte, e sulla valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale e archeologico dall’altra. I campi di volontariato che Legambiente realizza quest’estate, in collaborazione con l’AMP e il comune, si inseriscono in questo contesto; gli obiettivi sono di sensibilizzare gli abitanti e i turisti a una fruizione corretta dell'ambiente marino e costiero e di migliorare l’offerta di turismo sostenibile sull’isola, attraverso la sorveglianza dell’area protetta, il monitoraggio e la pulizia dai rifiuti.

II volontari garantiranno un presidio costante dell’AMP e svolgeranno le seguenti attività: informazione e sensibilizzazione dei turisti sulla corretta fruizione della spiaggia, con particolare attenzione alla tutela delle spiagge con granuli di quarzo, pulizia delle coste dalla presenza di eventuali rifiuti spiaggiati, monitoraggio e catalogazione dei rifiuti spiaggiati provenienti dal mare, raccolti secondo la normativa europea del Beach Litter e Park Litter nel caso di pulizie delle dune e zone retrodunali.

A ovest di Cabras, la penisola del Sinis, si protende nel mare con una costa bassa e rocciosa, estendendosi nell’entroterra con un altopiano brullo e una bassa macchia mediterranea odorosa di rosmarino e di ginepro. Alla scogliera si alternano anche spiagge memorabili: a nord di capo Mannu le dune e le sabbie di Is Arenas sono coperte da una storica pineta, mentre a sud la costa si articola in cale di sabbia, promontori rocciosi e stagni. A sud delle suggestive scogliere di Su Tingiosu si trovano alcuni gioielli naturalistici, le spiagge di granuli quarzosi (del tutto simili a chicchi di riso) di Mari Ermi e Is Arutas. Alle spalle delle spiagge, di grande interesse naturalistico lo stagno di Cabras, e la laguna di Mistras, mentre di grandissima suggestione sono le rovine della città, prima nuragica poi fenicia e infine romana, di Tharros, situata proprio in riva al mare.

Attività formative
I volontari saranno coinvolti in attività di formazione tenute dai responsabili di Legambiente e dal personale dell’AMP sulle caratteristiche naturalistiche e storico-culturali del territorio, sull'avifauna e fauna selvatica del territorio e sulle attività di lavoro. Sono previsti focus sulla raccolta differenziata. Verranno organizzate anche delle passeggiate ed escursioni nell'entroterra del parco con relative informazioni sulla flora dell'area. Verrà inoltre organizzata una vista al CRES, il Centro Recupero Tartarughe della zona.

A circa 30 min a piedi dalla borgata marina di San Giovanni di Sinis: l’ostello è dotato di camere con 4 posti letto ciascuna con un bagno comune con doccia ogni due camere. Sono presenti una cucina per la preparazione dei pasti e spazi esterni per il relax dei volontari.

Buona attitudine a camminare e andare in bicicletta. Disponibilità al confronto con turisti e fruitori delle spiagge. Buona sopportazione del caldo estivo che può raggiungere temperature alte soprattutto in alcuni periodi.

L'Area Marina Protetta Penisola del Sinis – Isola di Mal di Ventre, è stata istituita nel 1997 a tutela di questo territorio costiero delicato e prezioso. Il comune di Cabras, gestore dell’Area Marina Protetta, da anni è impegnato in un importante percorso di conservazione della biodiversità e della tutela del mare, dedicando risorse allo sviluppo di un turismo sostenibile e responsabile, puntando quindi sull’uso rispettoso del mare e del territorio da una parte, e sulla valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale e archeologico dall’altra.

Il campo ha una storia ventennale che segna le tappe di crescita del parco regionale in cui si realizza, di cui crea e sperimenta le buone pratiche, individua e realizza obiettivi fondamentali, a cominciare dalla mobilità sostenibile, lo studio e la conservazione di habitat e specie target, la difesa della legalità.
Lavoro
In accordo con l'A.G del Parco, obiettivo del campo di volontariato è dare seguito al laboratorio di spiaggia chiamato La Spiaggia di Nemo, estendendone l’esperienza alla Spiaggia Grande del Pizzo, la più remota e selvaggia dell'area protetta. In quest’ultima verranno realizzate infrastrutture elementari di tutela e azioni per aggregare e informare/educare la comunità di spiaggia, dove si sperimenteranno forme di comunicazione e coinvolgimento della comunità dei frequentatori/fruitori per diffondere e accrescere l’esperienza e la coscienza. Si realizzeranno azioni di monitoraggio e conservazione della biodiversità sugli habitat e selle specie animali, in particolare per la ricerca ed eventuale custodia dei nidi di Caretta caretta.
I ragazzi divisi in cinque gruppi a rotazione effettueranno: 1) il monitoraggio generale del parco, in particolare dell’impatto turistico, pulizia e verifica delle infrastrutture interne ed esterne 2) il monitoraggio naturalistico degli habitat costieri, rilevare la nidificazione della tartaruga comune Caretta caretta e/o la custodia, monitoraggio e comunicazione al pubblico del nido eventualmente rilevato 3) la manutenzione delle infrastrutture e delle tabelle a protezione della scarpata dunare 4) azioni preventive e di supporto all’AIB 5) gestione interna del Campo base.
Luogo
Il campo si svolgerà all’interno del Parco Regionale Isola S. Andrea, Litorale di Punta Pizzo. Il tratto di litorale è caratterizzato da un susseguirsi di cale e tratti sabbiosi - sito di nidificazione della Caretta caretta - e di bassa scogliera, con alle spalle un’ampia pineta litorale e tratti di macchia a ginepro e sclerofille ricca di specie subendemiche come lo spinapollici. Nella parte retrodunale è presente una zona umida, di grande importanza per l’equilibrio idrogeologico dell’area e per la biodiversità, in particolare l'avifauna che vi trovano rifugio, sostentamento e siti di nidificazione. Il centro storico di Gallipoli è tra i più interessanti e meglio conservati del sud Italia, e racchiude tra l’altro ben 12 chiese di confraternita, una parrocchiale e la cattedrale, dedicata alla protettrice S. Agata; musei, biblioteche e due dei 40 frantoi ipogei restaurati e visitabili.

Attività formative
Sono previste attività di formazione sulla gestione sostenibile del campo base, dell’alimentazione e delle attività esterne, sulla struttura e le dinamiche ecosistemiche del Parco, la biologia di Caretta caretta, sugli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici e sulle tecniche e buone pratiche di resilienza. Tali conoscenze verranno messe in pratica in team work attraverso briefing/report quotidiani coordinati dai responsabili. Saranno inoltre fornite le istruzioni di base per il primo soccorso e la prevenzione e primo intervento AIB.

L’attività del Circolo di Gallipoli, volta allo studio di soluzioni sostenibili ai problemi della collettività locale, da anni si concentra sulla gestione delle attività e sulla salvaguardia del Parco regionale Isola di S. Andrea e litorale di Punta Pizzo, che svolge in regime di incarico da parte del Comune; programmi didattici con scuole di tutta Italia, progetti di cooperazione con giovani da tutta Europa, reinserimento di giovani per conto dell’Ufficio Affari Sociali e del Tribunale dei Minori e lo stesso campo di volontariato sono solo alcune delle occasioni in cui i giovani entrano in contatto con la realtà del Parco, attuando le campagne di Legambiente Spiagge e Fondali Puliti alla Giornata Mondiale delle Zone Umide e alla Festa dell’Albero e molte iniziative di cittadinanza attiva.
