ProgramCamp program includes team projects, discussions at the round table, social and sport games, performances in the open air, actions for peace and nature protection, meetings with people, visits to museums and sightseeing as well as presentations of the countries that camp participants and volunteers represent, etc. Every day the camp will have a country presentation, a subject to learn or discuss and a related activity. Teenagers will stay in the camp activities zone from 10:00 to 17:00. There will be one day off in the camp and at least one day of travel outside Tallinn. The day off is spent either under the leadership of a member of the school staff or in the host family. Camp activities will take place in the premises of the language school that is situated in the very centre of the city. To activate teenagers and run the program, there will be a group of international volunteers and members of the local school staff. Longer camp shifts include one trip outside Tallinn.

AccommodationThere are 2 options possible (subject to availability, which will become clear by the beginning of the camp):1) In the premises of The Language School In Down-Town located on the 4th and 5th floors of a business building in the city centre. In summer time, a part of the school is reserved for the camp participants accommodation that includes several separate dormitory bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a large shower area and two separate toilet cabins. Apart from bedrooms, the tea-room for rest will be also organized where teenagers might watch films, read and play board games enjoying soft sofas. Bed linen, pillows and blankets will be provided, so you do NOT need to bring a sleeping bag unless you want so. For the reasons of security, minimum one school staff member and one volunteer will be staying with camp participants overnights to maintain life, catering and general order on the site. To facilitate a smooth and safe environment at school during the off-hours, the entrance to the school must be kept closed at all times. The access to the school and accommodation areas will be managed by long-term volunteers or school staff. Please be aware that you must be inside by 22:00 the latest unless supervised outside by a school staff member. Participants will have breakfasts and dinners at school, lunches i together with other camp participants.2) In the host families of some of local participants who will join this camp. The apartments of the host families may be located in Tallinn or its suburbs. Participants will stay in a separate or shared room. You do NOT need a sleeping bag. Participants will have breakfasts and dinners in their host families, lunches i together with other camp participants in the city. Travel cards will be provided, pick up service at arrival is provided upon request.Please note: it is not possible to stay at any of the camp accommodation options before or after the camp arrival and departure days. If you need a place to stay before or after the camp dates, we can help you to book a hostel in Tallinn.

Special requirementsWe will welcome any ideas to improve the program and your active participation in it. English is the camp language. The age of international camp participants is 14 i 16. Please be aware that during the day program of the camp the participants will be asked to leave their cell phones at their accommodation site to ensure safety of the participants and their engagement with the camp activities. To assure a safe environment for all the campers, we expect all our camp participants will provide their parents letter of consent (Parental Authorization) and travel insurance certificate.Participation feeUnlike the traditional voluntary camp, there will be mostly informal educational activities and guided language practice. Camp program implementation involves costs for boarding and lodging, domestic transport, materials, excursions, visits, cultural activities and general administration. Since neither EstYES, nor its partner ALPS receive any financial support for this camp from state or municipality, to make the camp happen we have to charge a participation fee from 350 to 600 Euro depending on the duration of the camp shift. This is a separate fee that is different from your country sending organization s fee you pay at home. International language camp is organized for teenagers by The Language School In Down-Town and the non-profit educational association Alternative Language Programs Satellite (ALP S) as part of their annual activities on multicultural issues for youth. The project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to the youth and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication by means of alternative English language practice which includes meetings, visits and direct contacts to young people from abroad. The project gets teens of 14 to 16 years old familiar with national traditions of the countries from all over the world, encourages them to develop their global thinking and individual initiative, tolerance and resistance to xenophobia and ethnic hatred. Camps give foreign participants a great chance to meet youngsters both from Estonia and other countries as well as to experience local life. This summer we offer you to participate in our project called KALEIDOSCOPE . We invite camp participants to discuss ideas of chaos and order, mess and harmony. Together, we will discover our own infinite potential and freedom to create new patterns of life, same way as we create patterns out of random single pieces of colourful glass twisting a kaleidoscope. We will learn how to find harmony in apparent disorder and use chaos as a tool for stress relief, how to turn imperfection into the source of true beauty and embrace uncertainty to make our life journey more successful, unique and vibrant. Camp participants will gain ideas and skills how to deal with a million of combinations of the world s reality.Meetings with local and/or international professionals in the field will take place. Thematic photo and video contests for camp participants will be organized.

Gönüllü Hizmetler Derneği-Childhood Dreams program, organized for children between the ages of 10-14 with limited access, is a social content and child-themed workcamp. A volunteer team consisting of foreign and Turkish volunteers will run a 1-week camp program with under state care children. The program content, activities to be done with the children and the organization of the volunteer team will be planned by the Childhood Dreams camp leader. The camp has been running successfully since 2009 with the same theme.

Kalben Children's Village was established by Kalben Association in 2024. The village is on an island in Balıkesir (city). It is possible to organize activities such as swimming and walking tours on the island as part of the program for volunteers.

Accommodation will be in shared rooms in the children's village building, male and female volunteers stay in separate rooms. Meals will be prepared and served by the host organization.

Summer school aimed at promoting youth learning about the value of nature and the environment by bringing them closer to and connecting them with the local natural ecosystem. This fosters environmental awareness and provides them with learning tools, as well as respect for nature and humanity, through activities focused on the local flora and fauna.
- Volunteers will prepare with the help of the coordinators and campleaders different activities and workshops for the local children (we are looking for committed and proactive participants).
- Volunteers will participate in relaxion workshops, excursions, activities in the rural world and natural sciencies, manual and creative activities.
A space free of screens, warm, for learning and fun among all young people and focused on nature will be created. The participant will be instructed and will instruct to become familiar with the true protagonists of the camps, nature and coexistence. They will learn to know, respect and value the land and the inhabitants who populate it.
Knowledge of English is mandatory and Spanish or Valencian is valued.
During the summer, temperatures can be very high, and weather conditions may not be optimal due to this.

Altea La Vella is a district of Altea, a municipality in the province of Alicante (Spain). It has 583 inhabitants (INE 2012). This place of the Marina Baja is located between the sea and the mouintains and was the origin of the current Altea. Its white houses stand out. It is located 3.5km south north of the urban center of Altea, 3 km south of the Sierra de Bernia, 2 km west of the Mediterranean Sea and 9 km from Callosa de Ensarria.

The facilities of Finca Santa Barbara have the optimal requirements for carrying out this project, since they are located in a rural enclave, with toilets, showers, children's games area, a picnic area, camping areas for TENTS and a swimming pool. Summer sleeping bag is necessary.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader. Tents will be provided by the organization yet you can bring your own tent if you wish

The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del Rio Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or ?arboretum?: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.
There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

The municipality is located in the province of Alicante, in the northern part of the Marina Baixa region, 10 km from the coast and 42 km from the city of Alicante.
Algar Waterfalls at only 15 km from Benidorm and 3 km from the center of Callosa. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government. It is a park about the importance of water as an environmental resource, economical and cultural. The visit is a route through a circuit of 1.5 km in length along, where you can walk through the bed of the river Algar, see the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources, the "tolls" (pools of water) where you can take refreshing swims in crystal clear water, the old dam, the imposing century-old canal and ditches still in use.
Apart from the Waterfalls, there are other interesting sites in Callosa like the cultural heritage of the town, old narrow streets in the center. Also, there are several beautiful hiking routes around Callosa. One of the most spectacular places is El Fort de Bernia.
Not far from Callosa, you can visit a town called Guadalest which has an ancient castle. Also, Altea, another beautiful town near the sea can be visited. The beach is not far from the house and somedays, the volunteers can take a trip to the beach of Altea.

In a small rural house with basic conditions, some kilometres away from the village centre, with 2 different rooms. No need to bring a mattress but bring lower sheets and a summer sleeping bag are necessary. The centre is equipped with showers and WC.
The food is provided by our campleaders and the volunteers will be cooking in groups by the guidance of our campleader.
Please keep in mind that during the summer, weather conditions may not be optimal due to the high temperatures.

Guanglong Community is located in the southeastern part of Taiping District at the foot of Chelongpu Mountain Range. It is bordered to the north by Xinglong Village, to the south by Yonglong Village, and to the west by Changyi Village, with the Toubiankeng River serving as the natural boundary. With an area of 3.1059 square kilometers, it is a village that was reborn after experiencing the horrible quake happened in Sep. 21st 1999.This project aims to provide a meaningful holiday experience by pairing volunteers with children in need of guidance and support in their learning journey. Participants will engage in activities such as reading, tutoring, and creative workshops, fostering an encouraging environment for the kids growth and development. Aims:Taiping District is a peripheral area of Taichung City, and Guanglong. Village is a quiet community located in the Chelongpu region of Taiping.Due to the scarcity and unequal distribution of resources, children have limited access to education, particularly in English learning environments. Located in a rural area in the northeast of Portugal, very close to the border with Spain, its a village that suffers aging population problems, which makes these experiences very important for the rural development of this region.

Basic housing with electricity ( with one large room equipped with bunk beds, one living room, WC, and showers with hot water. There is no bar in the village neither a supermarket, but if something is needed, we can easily support the volunteers to get it. Volunteers who want extra privacy can bring camping tents. Theres good wifi in the proximity of the accommodation, more precisely at the CAB office, which is in the village.

We explore from the character “Medea” by Euripides.Rejected for being a woman, a foreigner and from another religion.

Rehearsals, staging, wardeobe, characterization.
Performances to the public, on 30 and 31 july, in “Pórtico del Foro”
Production in Agusto en Mérida, part of the International Classical Theater of Merida.
Assistance to technical and human staff during the performances (sound and lighting, box office, seating)
Attendance to other groups rehearsals and performances.
This training will be given by profesionals specialised in theatre and classical culture.
Participants must be involved in an active way, taking into account theur creative and/or artistic abilities.
Training will be given at C.C. Alcazaba.
Participants must bring with them brown or black sandals (like the “slaves” ones: without platform nor decorations)

This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with Sansonjuku since 2008. This project has been organized with Sansonjuku, founded in 1994, maintaining forest and step rice paddies through the projects which involves people from the city and local. They started 80-days of international workcamp with NICE since 2008 to make the footpath and maintain the forest. But on July 2012, the hardest rain ever attacked around this area. After that it had serious damages by flood. Their aim is to activate the community and sustain the program with young people from the world to conserve this rich nature and revival this area!

During the camp volunteers will do many different activities, from planting an alley of flowers and mowing the lawns, to sanding and painting wooden sculptures in the local park, then prepare the ground for the new statue in the Memorial Park. In the landscape house, for wooden objects protective material will be used in order to preserve the texture. If time allows, there will be a space to create new totems and put them in the park.
Also, this year the volunteers will help in making of 5m high vantage point.

Totovo Selo is a picturesque village with almost completely Hungarian population in the Kanjiža municipality, in the North Banat District, Vojvodina province. It is surrounded by natural beauty with beautiful fields and friendly hosts. Settlement was founded at the end of the 19th century. The name "Totovo Selo" (literally- Tot's village) comes from Tót József, at that time (at the threshold of the 20th century) wealthy local landlord, who donated 72 houses without any compensation dividing his property among his wage-earners and workers.
One of the most interesting attractions there is the model of the Danube, which is built together with the former participants of the camp. In the village there are 5 parks, a barn, an autochthonous Hungarian breed of sheep and a farmhouse. In the village, there are few festivals that are organized every year (a kettle and brandy festival, a festival of folk customs, to mention just those...).
Few excursions to the surrounding places and towns will be organized (including going to the beach at river Tisa).
Please bring a positive attitude, meeting people from other cultures of this Serbian-Hungarian village is really important to the host.

The accommodation will be in a local boarding house in rooms with 2-5 beds and a bathroom. Bedding is provided. Meals are provided in the dining hall of the local centre, 3 times a day. Also, the dinners will be made with the help of everyone in the courtyard of the boarding house, with local traditional food.
Keep in mind that there might probably be a very limited internet connection, but we will see what can be done to use it from the locals without their permission (no, no, we will try to find alternatives, don't worry).

The main task is harvesting various berries and vegetables such as rhubarb, currants, raspberries, Japanese quince, then helping juice making and products packaging. But there is also weed control and fertilization with mulch in plantations, mowing grass, cutting branches, removal of bushes and wood chipping, assistance in the construction of various small buildings, vegetable beds and other necessary structures on the site, painting as well. And there is ongoing work of planting seeds. Working hours are 5-7 hours a day for 5 days a week. The exact work depends on season and partly on weather conditions.

LocationThe farm is located in Kanepi municipality just 11 km from Otepaa and 47 km from Tartu. When coming from Tartu, choose a bus to Voru and get off at the Saverna stop. Buses stop there quite often, travel takes about 40 minutes. Also you can come through Otepaa. Knowing you arrival time and place hosts will pick you up from there. Bus information is on www.tpilet.ee or www.luxexpress.ee. The farm is located in the tiny village of Aiaste. It is important to understand that it is calm and quiet place (there are no events in the village). But with nice weather, it is possible to watch animals like deer on the field, foxes in a strawberry bed and storks. While sitting by the fire at night, enjoy stars in the sky and listen to the nature sounds by animals such as badgers or raccoons.Leisure timeIt is possible to swim, make a fire, play volleyball, disc golf and other games or go for mushroom picking if you like it. There is a swimming lake in Valgjarv 4 km away. You can use various hiking trails. If interested you can visit nearby farms where you can get to know horses, sheep and other animals and see many other interesting things. Farm life conditions are simple but decent. Sleeping is in a separate house in beds. Bed sheets, blankets and pillows are provided, so no need for sleeping bag. There is outdoor kitchen with all necessary equipment. Volunteers can make breakfast and lunch themselves, and dinner will be prepared by and taken with the family. Washing is in the sauna. There is a dry organic toilet. Volunteers have to take care of their surroundings by cleaning up after themselves.

The main task of this workcamp is the reconstruction of the historical wall that once was the edge of the horse stable of the property. The work of reconstructing a wall is not too exhausting and is suitable for all ages; patience and determination are key qualities. Tasks include repairing joints with crumbling mortar, replacing stones that were removed due to overgrown vegetation, and performing minor maintenance work such as painting windows, pruning overgrowth around the building, collecting and transporting waste to a container, and digging trenches. Working boots are essential, and we recommend taking a headlamp or other flashlight.

Location: The workcamp takes place in Janovice near Rymarov in a protected landscape area of the Jeseniky mountains. Janovice is a small village with 670 inhabitants located in the foothills of Praded Mountain (the highest peak of Jeseniky Mountains). There is a grocery store in the village and a good phone reception everywhere. The closest ATMs and pharmacies are located in the nearby town of Rymarov.
Leisure time: The foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains are home to many remarkable sites, though most require some travel. Highlights include Karlova Studánka, a unique mountain spa with well-preserved 18th-century architecture; Sovinec Castle; Praděd, the highest mountain in Moravia; and the largest waterfalls in northern Moravia. For those looking to stay closer, there are plenty of scenic spots within walking distance that offer breathtaking mountain panoramas. Additionally, on the chateau grounds, visitors can explore an exhibition by the National Heritage Institute inside the chateau building.
Study part: Volunteers will start the workcamp with the workshop "Historic Stone Wall Restoration". There will be the possibility to have a guided tour of the castle including a tour around the brewery, visit the local museum, the brocade production exhibition, or the region's outstanding Baroque sacred monument. The local partner will organize a meeting with the local community. For example, you might get the chance to meet a local sculptor, a teacher, a jewelry maker using a 3D printer, or even a world champion in whip cracking!

You will be accommodated in an apartment directly in the brewery. The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with a shower and 2 toilets. Volunteers can sleep in the living room or there is also another smaller bedroom. Volunteers will sleep together, some on mattresses with blankets and pillows, others on sleeping mats in sleeping bags. Bring your sleeping bag and a mat (a small pillow is always useful). The washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, shower gels and shampoos are available. Wifi is also available. The volunteers will cook the meals together in the fully equipped kitchen from the provided ingredients. Vegan and vegetarian meals are possible.

This workcamp is organized in cooperation with the Association for the Renovation of the Brewery in Janovice. In 2018 the association took over a 200-year-old neglected brewery in the village of Janovice, northern Moravia. The workcamp aims to reconstruct, revitalize, and clean up the old brewery to fulfill the association’s long-term goal—transforming it into a cultural center for the residents of Janovice. While the brewery’s renovation is an ongoing process, volunteers this year won’t be directly involved in ground breaking or community defining moments. Instead, they will have the opportunity to connect with local professionals and enthusiasts who support the project. Through these interactions, volunteers will experience the community from a different perspective, engage in cultural exchange, and gain insight into the town’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit. At this workcamp, you will actively contribute to the achievement of the United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities.

During the first week, the focus will be on initial training and preparation. In the mor-nings, theatre workshops will be held covering acting techniques such as body expression, voice management, improvisation and character development, as well as dramatised reading and analysis of the texts to be performed. In the afternoons, group dynamics will be organised to strengthen coexistence and time will be allocated to the creation and design of the Festi-val's signage. This period will allow the artistic and organisational foundations of the event to be consolidated, promoting both technical learning and teamwork. In the second week, prio-rity will be given to the celebration of the Jorearte Festival and the performance of the show. The afternoons and evenings will be dedicated to travelling to the different locations for volun-teer activities during the festival. At the same time, in their free time, participants will be able to enjoy guided tours and cultural dynamics, combining stage work with recreational activities that allow them to get to know and enjoy the surroundings. The volunteer camp's complementary activities program offers participants a compre-hensive experience that combines culture, nature, sport and coexistence. Highlighted activi-ties include a guided tour of the town of Ayerbe and an exciting day of kayaking on the Gallego River, where participants will be able to enjoy the natural surroundings while working as a team. In addition, a nature walk will be planned to the town of Murillo de Gallego, a quiet and picturesque environment that combines physical exercise and scenic enjoyment. During breaks, there will be moments of relaxation and recreation in the Ayerbe pool and in the Gallego River, which will serve to combat the heat and strengthen the bonds between volun-teers. To encourage coexistence and mutual knowledge, group dynamics and games de-signed to strengthen group cohesion will be carried out. As a special welcome activity, the camp will begin with an international dinner in which participants will bring non-perishable products representative of their countries or regions. During dinner, you will have the oppor-tunity to share your dishes with others and explain the cultural relevance of your choices, creating an enriching and multicultural environment from day one. This complementary pro-gram seeks to balance technical work with moments of enjoyment, learning and conviviality, making the experience unique and memorable.

Accommodation will take place at the Casa Garcia Artists' Residence and at the Casa Felisa Rural House, both located in the town of Santa Eulalia de Gallego and with capacity to ac-commodate 20 people in double, triple or quadruple rooms. Both houses have common dining and living areas. Bathrooms are shared and participants must collaborate in cleaning the common areas of the accommodation. Young people from Spain must bring sleeping bags or sheets and shower and pool towels. Foreign participants will be provided with these utensils, so it will not be necessary for them to bring them. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will take place at Casa Garcia where some of the participants will be accommodated at the following times: breakfast at 8.30am, lunch at 2pm and dinner at 9pm. Food will be healthy and balanced, cooked every day in the kitchen by its catering team. During the day they will be offered a snack. Breakfast will be self-service and will consist of: milk, cocoa, coffee, juice, pastries, biscuits, toast, butter and jam. On days when there are excursions or when there is a very tight schedule outside the residence, the meal may be replaced by a picnic consisting of a sandwich and fruit. This case will be exceptional. It is possible to adapt the menu to suit die-tary needs or options.

Study part:
Join us for the first week to get to know the Ravensbruck Memorial and its history. We will deal intensively and artistically with biographies of imprisoned women and survivors who were imprisoned in the Ravensbruck concentration camp and afterwards in the subcamp Waldbaulager, which is part of the Ravensbruck concentration camp.
Work part:
Various maintenance works in the exterior of the memorial and the collections.

The former women's concentration camp Ravensbruck was built in 1939 near the small town of Furstenberg/Havel. Until its liberation in April 1945, over 120,000 women and children, 20,000 men and 1,000 underage young women from the so-called "Uckermark Youth Protection Camp" were imprisoned there. The prisoners came from more than 40 nations. They had to perform forced labor in various sectors, e.g. for SS factories or the Siemens company. Their daily lives were marked by hunger, mistreatment and poor hygienic conditions. Tens of thousands of prisoners were killed. Today, the Ravensbruck Memorial preserves traces and records, promotes remembering and research, and creates a place for active learning and encounters. Every year, international work camps are organized in cooperation with the memorial.

You will work together with the ?LEiV? (Verein Lebende Erde) which is a landscape protector group in the European NATURA2000-site ?Teile des Sudoststeirischen Hugellandes?. You will work on the meadows to collect the hay and in the woodlands to clean them from neophytes. The core idea is to assist the organisation with the traditional art of work that aims to preserve the area and its wildlife.
You will also help at the European-Roller Festival (a protected bird from the region). Moreover, you will have excursions to the wonderful protected species living on the side and visit the Mur-river for rafting.

Food: You will cook for the group in team. Please inform us whether you require a special diet. Your accommodation and food are covered ? however, we recommend you to bring some pocket money. 1. Grenzenlos is part of the ICYE Federation (an international youth exchange network) and the oldest voluntary exchange organisation in Austria. Its main purpose is to promote world peace and respect between people through intercultural non-formal education programmes abroad which combine cultural integration with engagement at non-profit initiatives worldwide.
The German word ?Grenzenlos? means ?no boundaries? and also ?no limits?. Zhongli District in Taoyuan City was originally settled by the Hakka people. The valley formed by a stream was called Li in the Hakka language, and the location surrounded by Laojie River and Xinjie River was named Jianzai . During the Japanese colonial period, the area was renamed Zhongli Street , which became the main road connecting the north and south.The area near the Laojie River(32769;34903;28330;) is known as the Laojie District , and it is home to Japanese-style buildings, century-old shops, Hakka culture, and the Laojie River which has greatly influenced the local way of life. Unfortunately, with the passing of time, many local youths and immigrants are no longer familiar with the historical context of this area. In order to preserve this unique cultural heritage, we hope to raise awareness and interest in the history of Zhongli Laojie District and achieve the goal of cultural preservation.Host Organization Chung Yuan Christian University(20013;21407;22823;23416;) is built upon the principles of Christian love for the world. Il campo si svolge nello splendido scenario dell’Area Marina Protetta Penisola del Sinis – Isola di Mal di Ventre, istituita nel 1997 a tutela di questo territorio costiero delicato quanto prezioso. Il comune di Cabras, gestore dell’Area Marina Protetta, da anni è impegnato in un importante percorso di conservazione della biodiversità e della tutela del mare, dedicando risorse allo sviluppo di un turismo sostenibile e responsabile, puntando quindi sull’uso rispettoso del mare e del territorio da una parte, e sulla valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale e archeologico dall’altra. I campi di volontariato che Legambiente realizza quest’estate, in collaborazione con l’AMP e il comune, si inseriscono in questo contesto; gli obiettivi sono di sensibilizzare gli abitanti e i turisti a una fruizione corretta dell'ambiente marino e costiero e di migliorare l’offerta di turismo sostenibile sull’isola, attraverso la sorveglianza dell’area protetta, il monitoraggio e la pulizia dai rifiuti.

II volontari garantiranno un presidio costante dell’AMP e svolgeranno le seguenti attività: informazione e sensibilizzazione dei turisti sulla corretta fruizione della spiaggia, con particolare attenzione alla tutela delle spiagge con granuli di quarzo, pulizia delle coste dalla presenza di eventuali rifiuti spiaggiati, monitoraggio e catalogazione dei rifiuti spiaggiati provenienti dal mare, raccolti secondo la normativa europea del Beach Litter e Park Litter nel caso di pulizie delle dune e zone retrodunali.

A ovest di Cabras, la penisola del Sinis, si protende nel mare con una costa bassa e rocciosa, estendendosi nell’entroterra con un altopiano brullo e una bassa macchia mediterranea odorosa di rosmarino e di ginepro. Alla scogliera si alternano anche spiagge memorabili: a nord di capo Mannu le dune e le sabbie di Is Arenas sono coperte da una storica pineta, mentre a sud la costa si articola in cale di sabbia, promontori rocciosi e stagni. A sud delle suggestive scogliere di Su Tingiosu si trovano alcuni gioielli naturalistici, le spiagge di granuli quarzosi (del tutto simili a chicchi di riso) di Mari Ermi e Is Arutas. Alle spalle delle spiagge, di grande interesse naturalistico lo stagno di Cabras, e la laguna di Mistras, mentre di grandissima suggestione sono le rovine della città, prima nuragica poi fenicia e infine romana, di Tharros, situata proprio in riva al mare.

Attività formative
I volontari saranno coinvolti in attività di formazione tenute dai responsabili di Legambiente e dal personale dell’AMP sulle caratteristiche naturalistiche e storico-culturali del territorio, sull'avifauna e fauna selvatica del territorio e sulle attività di lavoro. Sono previsti focus sulla raccolta differenziata. Verranno organizzate anche delle passeggiate ed escursioni nell'entroterra del parco con relative informazioni sulla flora dell'area. Verrà inoltre organizzata una vista al CRES, il Centro Recupero Tartarughe della zona.
Alloggio
Ostello di Funtana Meiga - casa del Parco. A circa 30 min a piedi dalla borgata marina di San Giovanni di Sinis: l’ostello è dotato di camere con 4 posti letto ciascuna con un bagno comune con doccia ogni due camere. Sono presenti una cucina per la preparazione dei pasti e spazi esterni per il relax dei volontari.
Requisiti e materiali
Buona attitudine a camminare e andare in bicicletta. Disponibilità al confronto con turisti e fruitori delle spiagge. Buona sopportazione del caldo estivo che può raggiungere temperature alte soprattutto in alcuni periodi.

The main task for volunteers is to deal with teenagers, providing cross-cultural learning experience for them as well as English language environment. It will be done through games, sport, club-like activities, excursions, discussions, etc. Volunteers alongside with local leaders will be responsible for the whole program of the children camp on 23.-27.07. The job can involve long working hours and require high level of commitment and responsibility for the camp program and the young participants. Some days may be quite long for late-night orientations, landscape game in the forest, campfire. It will be great if you could introduce your country, language and culture to young people.

Volunteers will share one room on the second floor of the same camp house where youngsters will stay. Bathrooms are of the common use. You don t need sleeping bags, but please bring your own towels. Meals will be served for all participants at the dining room. Help in the kitchen may be needed time to time.

We expect active volunteers with a good knowledge of history and culture of their country willing to present it to others in a creative way. Then this camp is just for you The camp is organized for 20 teenagers aged 14-17, who are young leaders of Estonian scout-like organisations Noored Kotkad and Kodututred. I campi di volontariato si svolgono nella spiaggia dell’Isola dei Conigli, zona A di Riserva Naturale e sito di deposizione della tartaruga marina Caretta caretta. I campi hanno una duplice finalità: contribuire alla tutela della spiaggia, intensamente frequentata a fini balneari, in modo da garantire le condizioni ambientali idonee all’ovodeposizione di Caretta caretta, controllando l’impatto antropico sul sito; sorvegliare e proteggere i nidi di Caretta caretta, dalla deposizione alla schiusa. Questi campi sono una grande occasione per quanti, appassionati della natura, vogliono prendersene cura svolgendo attività utili ed entusiasmanti, in uno dei luoghi più belli di Lampedusa e del Mediterraneo, meritevole di essere salvaguardato per la sua bellezza e per la sua grande importanza naturalistica.
Lavoro
Il campo prevede lo svolgimento di turni giornalieri di 6 ore circa e, all’occorrenza, turni notturni di 8–10 ore. I turni giornalieri sono finalizzati al controllo della balneazione, mediante sorveglianza ed attività di informazione e sensibilizzazione dei bagnanti, in modo da far rispettare i regolamenti vigenti nella riserva. Dalle 8 alle 20.00 i volontari si alterneranno per coprire due postazioni fisse: una all'ingresso della Riserva e una sulla spiaggia. All'ingresso, i volontari forniranno informazioni ai visitatori e forniranno supporto agli operatori nelle attività di controllo degli accessi alla spiaggia. In spiaggia, i volontari sorveglieranno gli eventuali nidi deposti, saranno punto di riferimento per quanti vogliono conoscere la biologia riproduttiva di Caretta caretta e svolgeranno attività di sensibilizzazione nei confronti dei turisti (inviteranno al rispetto delle norme comportamentali da osservare, effettueranno la pulizia dell’arenile, ecc.). I volontari, inoltre, collaboreranno nelle attività di rilevamento dei dati sulla fruizione e saranno di sostegno agli operatori della riserva per il rilevamento dei dati sui nidi di tartaruga e sui piccoli. I turni notturni si svolgeranno presso la struttura ubicata all'ingresso della riserva e sono finalizzati ad impedire l’accesso in spiaggia di eventuali visitatori durante la notte, che potrebbero pregiudicare gli eventi di nidificazione della tartaruga. Durante le schiuse dei nidi i turni notturni si svolgeranno in spiaggia. I volontari parteciperanno anche alle attività di salvaguardia e sorveglianza (diurna e notturna) di eventuali nidi deposti in altre spiagge dell’isola che rientrano nelle competenze dell'Ente Gestore della Riserva. I volontari, a turno, si occuperanno anche della preparazione dei pasti e della pulizia dell’alloggio.

Molto più vicina all’Africa che alla Sicilia, Lampedusa appartiene all’Arcipelago delle Pelagie. Nel 1996 la Regione Siciliana ha istituito la Riserva Naturale “Isola di Lampedusa”, gestita da Legambiente Sicilia. L’area protetta si estende per circa 360 ettari lungo un’ampia fascia incontaminata della costa meridionale dell’isola ed è finalizzata alla conservazione delle espressioni più significative della fauna e della flora presenti sul territorio. La spiaggia dei Conigli è stata per anni oggetto di ogni forma di abuso e degrado, ma grazie agli interventi di recupero ambientale, controllo e sensibilizzazione dell’Ente Gestore oggi è un modello di gestione e promozione di un turismo sostenibile, che ha saputo coniugare conservazione della natura con la fruizione del territorio.

Attività formative
All’inizio di ogni campo i volontari parteciperanno ad un incontro formativo presso la sede della Riserva (tenuto dal personale della Riserva), durante il quale verranno fornite le principali informazioni sull’area protetta (storia, caratteristiche, regolamento, ecc.), sulla biologia della tartaruga marina e sulle attività che si svolgeranno durante il campo.

I volontari saranno ospitati in un appartamento ubicato in centro.
Requisiti e materiali
Il campo è particolarmente impegnativo, poiché prevede una turnazione continua per garantire il controllo del sito h24. Buona attitudine a camminare; buone condizioni fisiche, capacità di svolgere le attività anche con particolari condizioni climatiche (essere in grado di trascorrere diverse ore sotto il sole, ma anche in presenza di vento, umidità, pioggia, zanzare…).

Forte de son histoire, la forteresse accueille des bénévoles internationaux·ales depuis les années 1980 afin de l'entretenir, de la valoriser et d'animer la vie locale durant l'été. Cette année, ce sont 5 chantiers internationaux qui y sont organisés sur la période estivale. Tu participeras à la troisième session de l'année.
Viens participer à la sauvegarde et à la valorisation de ce patrimoine d'exception ! Autour du château, tu réaliseras plusieurs travaux de restauration. Accompagné·e par un·e encadrant·e technique, tu participeras à l’entretien des maçonneries en découvrant les techniques traditionnelles : dejointoiement et rejointoiement des murs, fabrication de mortier à base de chaux et de sable, maniement des outils. Tu participeras aussi à l’entretien des boiseries : barrières de sécurité, construction en palettes pour les espaces de détente. Tu participeras également aux actions environnementales de la forteresse : débroussaillage, taille des arbustes, entretien du potager, rénovation des cabines de toilettes sèches. Protéger une telle bâtisse necéssite du temps et beaucoup d'énergie ; viens apporter ta pierre a l'édifice !
With its rich history, international volunteers have been welcomed at the castle since the 1980s to help maintain and promote it, and enliven local life during the summer. This year, 5 international workcamps are organized at the fortress over the summer. You will participate in the third session of the year.
Come and join the preservation and enhancement efforts of this exceptional heritage! Around the castle, you will carry out several restoration tasks. Guided by a technical supervisor, you will help maintain the masonry by learning traditional techniques: removing and re-pointing the walls, making lime and sand mortar, and handling the tools. You will also assist with maintaining the woodwork: safety barriers and building with pallets for relaxation areas. Finally, you will take part in maintining the fortress's environment: clearing brush, pruning shrubs, maintaining the vegetable garden, and renovating the dry toilet cabins. Protecting such a building takes time and energy; come contribute to the effort!

L'hébergement se fait sous tente, à 10/15 min à pieds de la forteresse et à 5 min à pieds du centre de la commune. Tout est organisé sur place dans le respect de l'environnement (tri des déchets et compost) avec l'objectif d'avoir un mode de vie plus écologique.
Au-delà des temps de chantier, les volontaires participent ensemble à l’organisation de la vie collective. Souvent réparti·e·s en équipes, ils·elles élaborent les menus, participent aux courses, préparent les repas et s’assurent de la propreté des espaces communs.
Véritable acteur·ice de ton expérience, tu participeras aussi à la prise de décisions concernant les activités collectives et l’organisation du quotidien !
Accommodation is in tents, 10-15 minutes on foot from the fortress and 5 minutes on foot from the centre of the village. Everything is organised on-site with respect for the environment (waste sorting and composting) with the goal of promoting a more ecofriendly lifestyle.
Beyond the working hours, volunteers come together to organise daily life on the camp. Often divided into teams, they plan menus, help with the shopping, prepare meals, and ensure the cleanliness of shared spaces.
Fully involved in shaping your experience, you will also take part in decision-making regarding group activities and daily organization!

Au cœur d'un charmant petit village bourbonnais, le château de Montaigu-le-Blin est une imposante forteresse médiévale du XIIème, classée Monument Historique. Située sur une petite colline, cette forteresse offre un espace bucolique et intime, proche de la nature avec une belle vue sur les paysages alentours.
Depuis les années 80, des bénévoles participent chaque année à la sauvegarde, la rénovation et à l'animation touristique du château, alors pourquoi pas toi ?
Ces dernières années, la forteresse s'est refaite une beauté ! Les bénévoles ont continué à faire des travaux de maçonnerie traditionelle sur les murs du château et ont développé le potager médiéval au pied de la tour du Seigneur. A vous de prendre le flambeau !
Inside a lovely little French village, the castle of Montaigu le Blin is an impressive medieval fortress, classified as Historical Monument. It is located on the top of a hill, overlooking the countryside. Since 2002, volunteers have been participating, every summer, to the restoration of the castle. These last years, the fortress has regained its beauty! Since the 80s, volunteers come every year to restore and protect the castle. These last couple of years, volunteers restored the castle walls using traditional masonry techniques and developped the medieval vegetable garden at the bottom of the Lord's tower. This year, it's your turn to live an experience back in time!
