The JAVVA team will be joining the environmental management team. It will mainly involve small work such as : Assembling sorting islands Dispatching recycling bins, cleaning materials and bin bags Dispatch of voting ashtrays + hanging of voting phrases. The environment team has its own workplace, The sorting centre, where they redo their atmospheres, so they are autonomous. The days start at 9:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm. The 3 days of the festival are 100% free.

We invite 12 international volunteers to help continue the construction of the Celtic housing complex in Bopfingen. So far, seven workcamp groups, local volunteers of the community of Bopfingen and a team of professional craftsmen have been working on the three houses of the Celtic housing complex. Your task will be to continue the work there by finishing the walls and floors. The working place is set on the top of the hill “Ipf”, so you will be working outside a lot with a wonderful view over the region. All the materials you work with are natural materials like clay, wood, and stone. The work will be led by a professional instructor, so no previous experience is needed. Expect manual work! You will work around 30 hours per week, somewhere between 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday with a 1-2 hour lunchbreak.

Bopfingen is a small town in southern Germany. It has a beautiful centre with a lot of houses in old German style. What makes Bopfingen special is the hill next to the town which is called “Ipf” with its flat plateau on the top. The “Ipf” has an important historical meaning in this area. In former times, the Celts lived there and until today a lot of archaeologists and historians come to explore the region. It is surrounded by beautiful nature where you can go for a walk or hike. Around Bopfingen, you will find various museums, the romantic historic city of Nördlingen, and the Ries (a large circular meteor impact crater with a diameter of 24 km). If you would like to visit a bigger city, Ulm is not far away with its famous cathedral and the highest church tower in the world.

You will be staying at a local gym hall at about 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre and 15 minutes from the train station. You will all sleep in the very big main room of the gym hall. Camp beds are provided but please bring your own sleeping bag! In the gym hall there is also a kitchen which you can use for cooking, tables and chairs, different toilets which can be separated by gender and one bathroom with one shower. Your group of volunteers will be responsible for grocery shopping and cooking together. The food will be bought with the camp budget and everybody will take turns for cooking, washing the dishes and cleaning. In order to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet, we encourage volunteers to reduce meat and try more sustainable dishes.

The town of Bopfingen invites an international workcamp for the seventh time this year! A couple years back, researchers found archaeological evidence from the Celtic people that used to live here thousands of years ago in the Iron Age. The town’s project for the next years is to rebuild some of the houses in Celtic style to show tourists how the Celts may have lived in this area. By participating to this project you contribute to protecting the local cultural heritage in a sustainable way (UN SDG 9 and 11). You will also be part of the strong partnership between international volunteers and this project in Bopfingen, as international workcamps have helped with building the complex almost every year.

Would you like to do some manual work and learn circus skills? Then this workcamp is the right place for you. ?Learning by doing? is the order of the day, so you can try things out and contribute your skills and ideas to the projects.
Over the course of a week, you will show off your manual and gardening skills and beautify the grounds of the Jokes Circus School, a children's and youth project with a real circus tent.
In addition to the tent, there are mainly shipping containers on the site, which serve as offices, toilets, storage rooms, dining and meeting rooms and will also be used by you during the camp. You will carry out various gardening and craft activities to beautify and improve the circus grounds. You will mainly be involved in woodwork, roof construction and painting. And you will be building at a circus wagon!
In the other week you will take part in an exciting artistic and circus training workshop! Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of circus and try your hand at various disciplines. Learn the art of body control through acrobatics, which includes floor, aerial and partner acrobatics. Balance on a tightrope, ride a unicycle or master complex jumps and figures. Or you can discover the skill of juggling, where you hold several objects in the air at the same time and create impressive patterns with balls, clubs, rings and diabolos.
Dare to take to the air and try your hand at aerial acrobatics, which includes performances such as trapeze, vertical scarf, straps and aerial rings. This discipline requires strength, flexibility and courage. Do you prefer to stay on the ground? Then learn the art of comedy and entertainment through clowning, where you make people laugh with facial expressions, gestures, slapstick and humour.
Whether you already have experience or are just curious, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn new skills and push your boundaries.

Your accommodation is located close to the Bremen city centre in a lively district. From there, you can explore the 1,200-year-old Hanseatic city of Bremen (www.bremen.de) with its many sights, cultural offerings, nightlife scene and shopping opportunities on foot or by bus after work or workshop.
Or you can stay at the circus site and round off the day with beach volleyball, barbecues or baking pizza and bread in the clay oven.
At the weekend, excursions to the North Sea coast (e.g. Bremerhaven), Hamburg or other cities are possible.

You sleep on air beds in two rooms in a container school right next to the circus site where you work. Toilets are available both in the school and on the circus site. There is a small kitchen, a shower and a table and chairs for eating and socialising on the circus site. There is also a circus wagon for you to eat and stay in.

Jokes die Circusschule (Jokes the circus school)
In 1998, young circus enthusiasts founded their own circus school together with artists and teachers. Since then, young and young-at-heart artists from 4 to 99 years have been able to help shape the circus school.
In 2020, after a long period of planning, the school was finally able to move to its own space and set up its own circus tent, where shows are performed regularly. In addition, the Circus School has a hall for training. Almost 260 children and young people use these halls every week to do circus together. In addition, there are more than 300 children and young people who are looked after at schools on a weekly basis.

If you like being outdoors in nature, spending evenings around the campfire, exploring the forest with people from all over the world in adventure activities and working hands-on in the forest together with the foresters, then this project at the Hahnhorst Forest Education Centre is exactly the one for you. The study part of the project consists of various workshops such as making a fire, reading tracks, carving course, bow and arrow, adventure night hike, herbs/forest fruits excursion and orienteering. By taking part in the workshops, you will be well prepared for the overnight stay in the forest. You will also spend 4 hours a day working with foresters and forestry workers on nature conservation projects in the forest, helping to improve the quality of habitats for rare animal and plant species and protect the climate. The forestry work starts early in the morning. The survival workshops take place in the afternoons.

Participants will have time to put the theory about photography into practice, exploring the city. At the end of the camp, the best photographs from each participant will be selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS social media. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods, and laptops, if possible. While learning about photography, the participants have the opportunity to explore Icelandic culture through active participation: capturing it, engaging with it, and showcasing their work throughout the camp. One of our goals is to empower young people to use photography to highlight environmental and cultural subjects and issues.Participants should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and working within a flexible schedule. Participants will be photographing in their free time outside of workshop hours with images to be discussed at group feedback sessions.This camp is open to participants aged 16 to 20. During their stay, SEEDS organises a programme that combines learning, sharing, getting to know Iceland and its culture, and having fun while exploring the city and some of the most stunning natural attractions in the Golden Circle and Reykjanes Peninsula excursions. Note that this is a learning/sharing camp and not a regular workcamp; this project has a smaller volunteer work part and emphasises the personal learning process over the community impact. We may be able to organise some outdoor voluntary work, but it depends on our partners and the weather conditions.

This is the eighteenth year (since 2008) that SEEDS has organised a series of International Photography projects and we began organising these camps for teenagers in the year 2010. Throughout the year, participants from all over the world come to Iceland for an immersive photography-focused learning camp. SEEDS coordinators help participants to develop their unique photographic skills through workshops and feedback sessions on technical settings, compositional considerations, and creating conceptual frameworks that highlight each participant s individual style.

This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through non-formal activities such as workshops, discussions, presentations and visits, as well as to contribute directly to environment protection by joining outdoor cleanup tasks. These cleanup tasks may be arranged in partnership with the above mentioned organisations or run solely by SEEDS. We also aim to involve the local community, so some of our events may be open to the public. We hope participants will learn how to plan and carry out their own trash cleaning projects back at home. This project is based on similar activities around the world, where outstanding results have been achieved with volunteers. Volunteers can choose one of the two options below, included as hands-on volunteering activity in the camp:1. A day trip combining a visit to the HellisheiE(i geothermal power plant, a trash collection in the area, and the Hot River Hike, a hike up a valley filled with hot springs where one can bathe. 2. A day trip to the Reykjanes Peninsula, combined with a coastal cleanup in the area.Please note that all activities are subject to weather conditions and the availability of our partners.This camp combines learning, sharing, hands-on work and fun. No previous experience is needed. Volunteers should prepare to share environmental issues from their countries and be ready to spend time outdoors, walking medium to long distances during the cleanups, and during other activities such as sightseeing. Since a part of the project happens outdoors, volunteers should be ready to adapt and be flexible with the work and free-time schedule. The Environmental Awareness and amp; Action project is part of a series of camps organised by SEEDS in cooperation with different partners. SEEDS collaborates with the Icelandic Ministry for Environment and Natural Resources, the City of ReykjavEk, and several local stakeholders on a project to clean up the Icelandic coastline. Partners include the Blue Army, an organisation dedicated to the cause of coastal cleaning, SORPA, the waste collection and amp; management entity in the capital area, and Whales of Iceland, an exhibit showcasing life-size models of whales and porpoises to educate the public about their lives and the impact of human activity on their existence.

SEEDS volunteers will take on a variety of activities, depending on weather conditions and the needs of our partners including working in the forestry section and vegetable greenhouses in the EcoVillage, as well as participating in a nationwide project to raise awareness of ocean pollution, plastic waste, and engage the group in hands-on cleanup efforts in the area, allowing volunteers to make a direct impactThe camp is based at AlviE(ra, which offers a range of activities to connect people with nature, such as community gardens, wildlife workshops, school programs, and hikes. As part of the camp, volunteers help maintain the center through tasks like gardening, renovating the house and other projects such as removing old fences to protect wildlife, marking walking paths, and potentially do forestry work like trimming or planting trees.This camp combines learning, sharing, hands-on work and fun. No previous experience is needed. Volunteers should be prepared to share environmental issues from their home countries and be ready to spend time outdoors. LOCATION: The accommodation is located an hour drive south-east from ReykjavEk. The house serves as an environmental-educational centre and sits under IngElfsfjall, The Mountain of IngElfur, with a view of EyjafjallajEkull where the volcanic eruptions began in March and April 2010. The place is registered as natural Icelandic heritage; the nature, vegetation and birdlife is rich in variety and quantity. The volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful and beautiful location with a small stream and a pond nearby. Hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage can be found throughout the area, which is a popular attraction among both foreign and local visitors. The nearest town, Selfoss, only 10 minutes-drive away, with 6500 inhabitants, is a centre of commerce and small industries where you find a geothermal swimming pool, shops, museums, cafEs and bars.

Each day of the camp will have a program completed by local coordinators and the volunteers will be helping to realize it. The main activities will be intercultural learning through finding differences and similarities between Estonia and countries, where volunteers come from (history, traditions, language, singing, dancing). It will be done through games, drama, sport, discussions. Taevaskoja Youth Camp is adventurous hiking camp that has been active for over 30 years. The aim of Taevaskoja camp is to support children s development through non-formal education. During the youth camp kids participate in different workshops about health, safety, culture and enjoy climbing and hiking activities. Taevaskoja is located in South-Estonia, about 220 km from Tallinn. The camp site is very close to the one of the most popular natural touristic place - Suur Taevaskoda (The Large Heaven s Hall), surrounded by beautiful forest and close to the one of the longest rivers in Estonia. Such location brings children closer to unspoiled nature and gives them an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with Estonian national heritage richly presented in the area. The camp aims also to develop children s knowledges about different cultures and support the growth of tolerance. ProgramCamp program includes team projects, discussions at the round table, social and sport games, performances in the open air, actions for peace and nature protection, meetings with people, visits to museums and sightseeing as well as presentations of the countries that camp participants and volunteers represent, etc. Every day the camp will have a country presentation, a subject to learn or discuss and a related activity. AccommodationThere are 2 options possible (subject to availability, which will become clear by the beginning of the camp):1) In the premises of The Language School In Down-Town located on the 4th and 5th floors of a business building in the city centre. In summer time, a part of the school is reserved for the camp participants accommodation that includes several separate dormitory bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a large shower area and two separate toilet cabins. Apart from bedrooms, the tea-room for rest will be also organized where teenagers might watch films, read and play board games enjoying soft sofas. Bed linen, pillows and blankets will be provided, so you do NOT need to bring a sleeping bag unless you want so. For the reasons of security, minimum one school staff member and one volunteer will be staying with camp participants overnights to maintain life, catering and general order on the site. To facilitate a smooth and safe environment at school during the off-hours, the entrance to the school must be kept closed at all times. The access to the school and accommodation areas will be managed by long-term volunteers or school staff. Please be aware that you must be inside by 22:00 the latest unless supervised outside by a school staff member. Participants will have breakfasts and dinners at school, lunches i together with other camp participants.2) In the host families of some of local participants who will join this camp. International language camp is organized for teenagers by The Language School In Down-Town and the non-profit educational association Alternative Language Programs Satellite (ALP S) as part of their annual activities on multicultural issues for youth. The project s aim is to introduce the diversity of world cultures to the youth and provide them with good practices in intercultural communication by means of alternative English language practice which includes meetings, visits and direct contacts to young people from abroad. The project gets teens of 14 to 16 years old familiar with national traditions of the countries from all over the world, encourages them to develop their global thinking and individual initiative, tolerance and resistance to xenophobia and ethnic hatred. Camps give foreign participants a great chance to meet youngsters both from Estonia and other countries as well as to experience local life. This summer we offer you to participate in our project called KALEIDOSCOPE . We invite camp participants to discuss ideas of chaos and order, mess and harmony. Together, we will discover our own infinite potential and freedom to create new patterns of life, same way as we create patterns out of random single pieces of colourful glass twisting a kaleidoscope. We will learn how to find harmony in apparent disorder and use chaos as a tool for stress relief, how to turn imperfection into the source of true beauty and embrace uncertainty to make our life journey more successful, unique and vibrant. Guanglong Community is located in the southeastern part of Taiping District at the foot of Chelongpu Mountain Range. This project is actively working for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), organized together with Sansonjuku since 2008. This project has been organized with Sansonjuku, founded in 1994, maintaining forest and step rice paddies through the projects which involves people from the city and local. They started 80-days of international workcamp with NICE since 2008 to make the footpath and maintain the forest. But on July 2012, the hardest rain ever attacked around this area. After that it had serious damages by flood. Their aim is to activate the community and sustain the program with young people from the world to conserve this rich nature and revival this area!

During the camp volunteers will do many different activities, from planting an alley of flowers and mowing the lawns, to sanding and painting wooden sculptures in the local park, then prepare the ground for the new statue in the Memorial Park. In the landscape house, for wooden objects protective material will be used in order to preserve the texture. If time allows, there will be a space to create new totems and put them in the park.
Also, this year the volunteers will help in making of 5m high vantage point.

Totovo Selo is a picturesque village with almost completely Hungarian population in the Kanjiža municipality, in the North Banat District, Vojvodina province. It is surrounded by natural beauty with beautiful fields and friendly hosts. Settlement was founded at the end of the 19th century. The name "Totovo Selo" (literally- Tot's village) comes from Tót József, at that time (at the threshold of the 20th century) wealthy local landlord, who donated 72 houses without any compensation dividing his property among his wage-earners and workers.
One of the most interesting attractions there is the model of the Danube, which is built together with the former participants of the camp. In the village there are 5 parks, a barn, an autochthonous Hungarian breed of sheep and a farmhouse. In the village, there are few festivals that are organized every year (a kettle and brandy festival, a festival of folk customs, to mention just those...).
Few excursions to the surrounding places and towns will be organized (including going to the beach at river Tisa).
Please bring a positive attitude, meeting people from other cultures of this Serbian-Hungarian village is really important to the host.

The accommodation will be in a local boarding house in rooms with 2-5 beds and a bathroom. Bedding is provided. Meals are provided in the dining hall of the local centre, 3 times a day. Also, the dinners will be made with the help of everyone in the courtyard of the boarding house, with local traditional food.
Keep in mind that there might probably be a very limited internet connection, but we will see what can be done to use it from the locals without their permission (no, no, we will try to find alternatives, don't worry).

The main task is harvesting various berries and vegetables such as rhubarb, currants, raspberries, Japanese quince, then helping juice making and products packaging. But there is also weed control and fertilization with mulch in plantations, mowing grass, cutting branches, removal of bushes and wood chipping, assistance in the construction of various small buildings, vegetable beds and other necessary structures on the site, painting as well. And there is ongoing work of planting seeds. Working hours are 5-7 hours a day for 5 days a week. The exact work depends on season and partly on weather conditions.

LocationThe farm is located in Kanepi municipality just 11 km from Otepaa and 47 km from Tartu. When coming from Tartu, choose a bus to Voru and get off at the Saverna stop. Buses stop there quite often, travel takes about 40 minutes. Also you can come through Otepaa. Knowing you arrival time and place hosts will pick you up from there. Bus information is on www.tpilet.ee or www.luxexpress.ee. The farm is located in the tiny village of Aiaste. It is important to understand that it is calm and quiet place (there are no events in the village). But with nice weather, it is possible to watch animals like deer on the field, foxes in a strawberry bed and storks. Farm life conditions are simple but decent. Sleeping is in a separate house in beds. Bed sheets, blankets and pillows are provided, so no need for sleeping bag. There is outdoor kitchen with all necessary equipment. Volunteers can make breakfast and lunch themselves, and dinner will be prepared by and taken with the family. Washing is in the sauna. There is a dry organic toilet. Volunteers have to take care of their surroundings by cleaning up after themselves.

Organic farm Kingu is one of them. This is a berry, fruit and vegetable micro-farm in the South Estonia. The main berry crops are raspberries, various currants, gooseberries, Japanese quince, garlic and rhubarb. Everything is grown in an environmentally sustainable way using straw and hay. The farm promotes sustainable lifestyle, and this camp is proposed for volunteers who appreciate and share its values, want to learn more and to help hard working people in country side.NB It is possible to stay for several shifts in a row.

The main task of this workcamp is the reconstruction of the historical wall that once was the edge of the horse stable of the property. The work of reconstructing a wall is not too exhausting and is suitable for all ages; patience and determination are key qualities. Tasks include repairing joints with crumbling mortar, replacing stones that were removed due to overgrown vegetation, and performing minor maintenance work such as painting windows, pruning overgrowth around the building, collecting and transporting waste to a container, and digging trenches. Working boots are essential, and we recommend taking a headlamp or other flashlight.

Location: The workcamp takes place in Janovice near Rymarov in a protected landscape area of the Jeseniky mountains. Janovice is a small village with 670 inhabitants located in the foothills of Praded Mountain (the highest peak of Jeseniky Mountains). There is a grocery store in the village and a good phone reception everywhere. The closest ATMs and pharmacies are located in the nearby town of Rymarov.
Leisure time: The foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains are home to many remarkable sites, though most require some travel. Highlights include Karlova Studánka, a unique mountain spa with well-preserved 18th-century architecture; Sovinec Castle; Praděd, the highest mountain in Moravia; and the largest waterfalls in northern Moravia. For those looking to stay closer, there are plenty of scenic spots within walking distance that offer breathtaking mountain panoramas. Additionally, on the chateau grounds, visitors can explore an exhibition by the National Heritage Institute inside the chateau building.
Study part: Volunteers will start the workcamp with the workshop "Historic Stone Wall Restoration". There will be the possibility to have a guided tour of the castle including a tour around the brewery, visit the local museum, the brocade production exhibition, or the region's outstanding Baroque sacred monument. The local partner will organize a meeting with the local community. For example, you might get the chance to meet a local sculptor, a teacher, a jewelry maker using a 3D printer, or even a world champion in whip cracking!

You will be accommodated in an apartment directly in the brewery. The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with a shower and 2 toilets. Volunteers can sleep in the living room or there is also another smaller bedroom. Volunteers will sleep together, some on mattresses with blankets and pillows, others on sleeping mats in sleeping bags. Bring your sleeping bag and a mat (a small pillow is always useful). The washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, shower gels and shampoos are available. Wifi is also available. The volunteers will cook the meals together in the fully equipped kitchen from the provided ingredients. Vegan and vegetarian meals are possible.

This workcamp is organized in cooperation with the Association for the Renovation of the Brewery in Janovice. In 2018 the association took over a 200-year-old neglected brewery in the village of Janovice, northern Moravia. The workcamp aims to reconstruct, revitalize, and clean up the old brewery to fulfill the association’s long-term goal—transforming it into a cultural center for the residents of Janovice. While the brewery’s renovation is an ongoing process, volunteers this year won’t be directly involved in ground breaking or community defining moments. Instead, they will have the opportunity to connect with local professionals and enthusiasts who support the project. Through these interactions, volunteers will experience the community from a different perspective, engage in cultural exchange, and gain insight into the town’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit. At this workcamp, you will actively contribute to the achievement of the United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Study part:
Join us for the first week to get to know the Ravensbruck Memorial and its history. We will deal intensively and artistically with biographies of imprisoned women and survivors who were imprisoned in the Ravensbruck concentration camp and afterwards in the subcamp Waldbaulager, which is part of the Ravensbruck concentration camp.
Work part:
Various maintenance works in the exterior of the memorial and the collections.

The former women's concentration camp Ravensbruck was built in 1939 near the small town of Furstenberg/Havel. Until its liberation in April 1945, over 120,000 women and children, 20,000 men and 1,000 underage young women from the so-called "Uckermark Youth Protection Camp" were imprisoned there. The prisoners came from more than 40 nations. They had to perform forced labor in various sectors, e.g. for SS factories or the Siemens company. Their daily lives were marked by hunger, mistreatment and poor hygienic conditions. Tens of thousands of prisoners were killed. Today, the Ravensbruck Memorial preserves traces and records, promotes remembering and research, and creates a place for active learning and encounters. Every year, international work camps are organized in cooperation with the memorial.

You will work together with the ?LEiV? (Verein Lebende Erde) which is a landscape protector group in the European NATURA2000-site ?Teile des Sudoststeirischen Hugellandes?. You will work on the meadows to collect the hay and in the woodlands to clean them from neophytes. The core idea is to assist the organisation with the traditional art of work that aims to preserve the area and its wildlife.
You will also help at the European-Roller Festival (a protected bird from the region). Moreover, you will have excursions to the wonderful protected species living on the side and visit the Mur-river for rafting.

Its main purpose is to promote world peace and respect between people through intercultural non-formal education programmes abroad which combine cultural integration with engagement at non-profit initiatives worldwide.
The German word ?Grenzenlos? means ?no boundaries? and also ?no limits?. The word explains the basic mission of Grenzenlos: to promote the personal development of individuals (no limits!) and inter-cultural understanding through international encounters, trainings, inter-cultural living and work experience (no boundaries!).

Zhongli District in Taoyuan City was originally settled by the Hakka people. The valley formed by a stream was called Li in the Hakka language, and the location surrounded by Laojie River and Xinjie River was named Jianzai . During the Japanese colonial period, the area was renamed Zhongli Street , which became the main road connecting the north and south.The area near the Laojie River(32769;34903;28330;) is known as the Laojie District , and it is home to Japanese-style buildings, century-old shops, Hakka culture, and the Laojie River which has greatly influenced the local way of life. Unfortunately, with the passing of time, many local youths and immigrants are no longer familiar with the historical context of this area. In order to preserve this unique cultural heritage, we hope to raise awareness and interest in the history of Zhongli Laojie District and achieve the goal of cultural preservation.Host Organization Chung Yuan Christian University(20013;21407;22823;23416;) is built upon the principles of Christian love for the world.
